This is my all time favorite theme for my business website for almost 10 years. I’m trying to start a blog and would like to use this theme again ??

Longevity theme is good so I paid to upgrade to the Pro version because of the extra features and the tech support, but in the last 10 days I have not been able to get it to work, I have had no technical support from the forum apart from one unnamed person from Shaped pixels asking for a link to the website I’m trying to create and no I am trying to get a refund but there are no contact details for the company and no way of tracking anyone down other than the inactive ‘support forum’. When I checked their Twitter and Facebook accounts I see that it has no been updated for the last 2 years, so this theme is clearly defunct. Do not waste your money on it, the code doesn’t work.

If you fairly new to WP then you can’t go wrong with this theme, beats the others by a country mile. Easy to use and control with the right plugins. If you need help the support is first class, good response, accurate and you get a result every time.
No nonsense theme highly recommended.

The front page widgets do not work! I love the design of this, but those widgets do not come in or appear at all! I followed the instructions verbatim, and it is still not working. I changed the Reading setting…which messed up the blog roll page loading and the front page. Also, you can’t mark the page as !Front Page, because that text shows up in the menu bar and on the front page. Yes, I got the plugin to make that invisible, but…again, it might make it disappear in the menu bar, but not on the front page itself. Also, the not all of the widgets show up for the customization view, so you can’t even try to get it to work on the front page from that end either! I’m really disappointed with this theme.

I’ve been customizing WordPress for my own websites since 2011. I’ve been doing Child Themes for friends and family since 2014. When I retired from my start-up last year I started a WordPress Consulting business. At first all I did was fix broken sites with terrible custom themes. Then I started introducing clients to child themes but letting them choose from anything with a free theme on www.ads-software.com or promoted by www.ads-software.com in the Commercial Themes section. That produced some big headaches with code that didn’t work right that I ended up fixing with free time. It wasn’t the clients fault that the code sucked. I let them choose it.
Then, along the way I started also doing sub-contract work. As a sub, one of my parent companies found and introduced me to Longevity.
Within the first couple of hours of working with it, my reaction was wow. Andre even included a child theme for me! Not only that but he gave me a list of plugins that were all simply fantastic double wow.
IMHO, when you choose a Shaped Pixels theme, you are at the crossroads where competence meets brilliance.

This theme is awesome. Versatile. Eye catching. Easy to use. I was sick of block images and static verbiage. Can’t say enough good things about it. The instructions on how to set it up to look like the demo was very well laid out and easy to figure out. Good job.

I thought I had given a review before, but I can’t find it, so here is an update. I am in the process of using this theme on a third website. The first I customized the colors and text, the second I did a replacement of the ‘wave’ banner graphic and the third I am again replacing the graphic.
It is a great theme to work with, very easy to customize and my clients love it. The best part is the developer who is great about ongoing theme development and improvements, as well as fantastic support. Having a helpful theme author with a free theme is a rare thing and a huge plus. I am looking forward to seeing future themes from them.

I really do love this theme. It’s pretty easy to work with and love the banner curve, it’s different. I had a few rough spots but the wordpress longevity forum was awesome and very quick to answer.

This is a great, professional looking, easy to use and customize theme with fantastic author support! When I started rewriting our department’s website, this one showed up quickly because of the color scheme support. As I added content and worked on the layout, it was just easy to work with. Updates came quickly and I found myself backing out my changes in favor of new things the author was adding.

This one is so beautiful and flows so nicely. Looks great out of the box, and I see a LOT of areas where additional customizations is needed. The only downside is that it’s not intuitive on how to use your own photo in the banner area, but there are very clear instructions from the developer on the support tab.

Besides being simple to customize and full of features I really appreciate that you make it easy to add our own copyright notice and you’ve included so many other really useful functionality.
As with someone else who posted a review, I’ve also paid for premium themes that were not nearly as good as these.

I have paid much good money for bad themes. But here is a theme that, even in the free version, provides so many terrific and creative options that you can build a killer site for nothing. And without using a bunch of whacky short codes that make it impossible to convert to another theme later on, without having to rebuild your entire site.
The tech support is awesome too. Quick to respond. Helpful. Courteous. And did I mention free? If we get all this in the free version, I can’t wait to see what the paid version is like–well worth the money I’m sure! Great job. I’ll look for more themes from Shaped Pixels for my next site.

I never thought I would find the perfect WordPress theme but here it is! Longevity is extremely customizable, I was able to move the banner above the main menu by copy-pasting only one line in header.php.
There are 12 built-in containers for page content (4 x top, 4 x content bottom, and 4 x bottom), not to mention that the two sidebars are also fully customizable and using any combination of these is possible! The theme also has five template options (full width, left & right column, left column, page builder, sidebars only). There are so many places to add content that I’m running out of ideas!
Indeed, the theme is relatively new so of course there are quite a few tiny issues that need resolving – but the support team are extremely fast, they respond within three hours and so far I haven’t faced a problem serious enough that I could solve myself, such as the ticket I submitted about moving the banner to the top of the page. The code is extremely easy to edit if needed and provides support for plugins – for example, the page builder template is created especially for those who decide to use a page builder plugin.
THIS IS THE PERFECT WORDPRESS THEME. I would recommend it to anyone!

I’ve tried more themes than I care to count to achieve the look of a website rather than being limited to a blog format. I love the clean, professional look of Longevity, and I was surprised to see some of the negative comments. I’m no pro–but I’ve tried enough themes to know a good one when I find one. There’s lots of options, but if you aren’t a pro–the theme support is also the best I’ve seen. Thank you for making this fantastic theme available!
