I updated the Maicha theme, and now WordPress keeps giving my this message on top of each page/window:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘maicha_blog_register_required_plugins’ not found or invalid function name in /home/periwise/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 303
Also, I can’t access the files in “Media”.
Anyone knows how to solve this?
]]>Hello, recently I installed Maicha theme for my new blog. I already created 7 posts with title, content, featured image and category. However when I go to customize and activate them in Animated slider nothing happens and I don’s see any changes on my site. The same goes for the quote. I have a quote and a quote image activated but I do not see it. What am I doing wrong?
]]>Hi all,
On my mobile phone, the drop down menu is not working (hover on desktop).
Meaning, when I am clicking on the main menu text, the sub-menu should open normally, however, on the mobile, it is automatically opening the main menu site and I can never choose my sub-menus.
How can this be fixed please ?
Cheers,
Christina
Hello all!
I cannot get hamburger dropdown menu on the mobile and iPad versions of my website to work. I have cleared my WordPress cache, and tried all of the various additional CSS recommendations in other support threads. Nothing has worked. I would love for some guidance in how to fix this. Thank you in advance.

Dear Support team,
The menu drop-downs won’t work on mobiles.
I’ve tried loads of stuff to fix that. Deactivate and reactivate plugins – nothing happened.
Install and run WP super cache – nothing happened.
Please could you help me fix that?
I would really appreciate that.
Thanks

I have started using Maicha Blog theme to create my blog and everything was fine until a few days ago. It no longer displays the frontpage with the slider section, the blog section etc. With the latest wordpress update it just stopped working. When I try to preview the homepage in the editor everything is fine. Can someone help me fix it?
Thank you
]]>I’ve set up a blog page for recent blogs but I cannot show the entire article for the most recent blog. Seems I can only show excerpts and lists of recent blogs which link to their pages. How can I show the entire most recent blog post PLUS the links to previous blogs? Does this theme support this feature?
The current page is set up as an elementor page and not a true blog page because anytime I set the blog page as a template, it would only show the first article as excerpt.
]]>I am beginning all of my blog posts with a gallery of photos. I would like to put captions on all of those photos in the gallery. However, in doing so, the blog excerpt that shows on the homepage (and anywhere else the maicha_blog_get_excerpt is called), contains a run-on of all of the image captions before any of the text of my actual blog post. Is there some custom CSS that I could add which would prevent the image captions being included in the excerpt?
Thank you.
I’ve selected the Maicha theme and I’ve added NextGen slideshow for the home page. And I have galleries. But all are on the left side of the pages.
How do I get everything centered?
Thanks, Jamie
]]>The footer widget areas were showing up before under Customizer > Widgets before. Now, it is not showing up. This messages shows:
Your theme has 4 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.
However under Appearance > Widgets, both footer widget areas and midsection widget area show up and I can add widgets to it. Just won’t show up in Customizer.
]]>I build my website with this template and recently discovered, it doesn’t work correct on mobile phone, when you use the normal screensize. Flipped in large screen it does work.
The problems I’m experiencing are, menubutton doesn’t work at all.
Texts are running out of the screen,
backgroundpicture is overrun by the header image
I’ve tried to deactivate all plugins, to see if this was causing the problem, but no, that’s not it.
Seems like I’m the only one experiencing this with this template, so it must be something I can adjust, but how?
]]>Hi,
I saw in the demo, it’s possible to create submenu but unfortunately it doesn’t work with me.
In the menu configuration, i just drop a custom link under a page, saved all the things and when i refresh my page and hover the parent item in the menu, nothing happen, the dropdown is not visible (the element is present in the DOM). Can you help me please ?
Hello,
Homepage issue
I recently downloaded WordPress and started iplementing the theme Maicha. I am trying to configure the homepage (www.exploringpaw.com) similar to this one or this one.
After looking on the forum it seems I had to create a new page, that’s what I’ve done: https://www.exploringpaw.com/home/
However I’d like to have this displaying on my ‘actual homepage’: https://www.exploringpaw.com
Is that possible? If so can I also change the animation on the slider for instance?
Article question
When creating an article I’d like the article to take the full page, without having a bar on the right like it is currently displaying, for example here. Is that possible and if so how could I do it?
Thank you in advance for your help,
Mika
Hello, I’m attempting to change the bg image of my search results page. Using a standard template that leverages PHP searching (search.php)
If while else in PHP reflects the following:
`<?php if (have_posts()) : ?>
<?php
/* Start the Loop */
while (have_posts()) :
the_post();
/**
* Run the loop for the search to output the results.
* If you want to overload this in a child theme then include a file
* called content-search.php and that will be used instead.
*/
get_template_part(‘template-parts/content’, ‘search’);
endwhile;
the_posts_navigation();
else :
get_template_part(‘template-parts/content’, ‘none’);
endif;
?>`
I would think that I can just edit any of the content search templates and add my CSS in there, but I’m not having any luck. I tried editing the CSS call functions directly on another page, using Inspect within Chrome, but still no luck.
Is there anything that can overwrite the CSS background image properties within the search.php contents without complexing the main stylesheets
]]>Hi! I’m trying to switch the theme of my portfolio from Tracks to Maicha, but in Live preview, the theme doesn’t show the right format. Any idea what I should do? I haven’t updated the website in a while and not tech-savvy. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
