Hi! First, thank you for a wonderful theme. I have enjoyed using it for many years. I am wondering if there is a way I can update the social media icons to have more contrast. Currently they are a light gray color. Is there a way or a work-around or plugin to use to change the icons themselves? Thanks!

How do I remove the pin under the title and above the image in the sidebar (first widget left).

I don’t want the pin anywhere and in de themesettings I have chosen for “None” where you can see that pin.
But now it does show in sidebar and not in page.
How can I also remove in sidebar?

After update there was a conflict with the plugin Really Simple SSL
I have deactivated de plugin right now.
When activated the content of the side bar is under de site en not near de page.
Can I solve this so I can use the plugin?

WordPress 5.8 introduced new block widgets, that Mantra does not style well. On my limited usage of primary widget area, I used the following custom CSS to fix two issues I discovered.

Note that this is not an extensive list of custom CSS that. It’s only what I added to one of my sites based on my specific usage of Mantra as a parent theme. There might be more tweaks needed depending on the widgets actually used.

I decided to change some settings of Mantra (the width of the sidebar and of the main area) long time after creating the site, and found, that now I need the Cryout Serious Theme Settings plugin. OK, I installed it. I played with different values of the width, each time saving and analyzing how the site looks. However, after the 4th or 5th change, I couldn’t save and got an error. I re-opened the Mantra Settings page – now it is looking as it was before (without the “accordion” of settings) and suggests to install the Cryout Serious Theme Settings plugin (which is already installed and activated). I re-installed it, but that didn’t help. Any idea?

The links for WP’s taxonomy, Categories and Tags, do not work for Custom Post Type. When I use the links, the archive shows “nothing found”

When I use Custom Taxonomy, WP finds all types of posts.

Can you help me with this?

I use the latest versions of WP and Mantra

I am not sure what name these are called by, but at the upper right corner of the header (as in a number of themes), there are icons for Twitter, Facebook, and RSS. I have looked around Mantra’s Customization options and all through the WordPress dashboard, and I have no clue how to enable these links. When I have the site open to edit, a cross-out circle appears when I hover the pointer over the icons.

Any clue as to how I can get these icons hyperlinked – or at least what they might be called so I can do some research? Thanks in advance!

The Mantra theme does not display comments with WordPress 5.5.

Additionally, it appears that after upgrade to WordPress 5.5, older comments may be lost with a rollback to the previous version (though these can be restored with a database restoration).

The page shows ul lists with a fancy circle symbol, which is not well vertically aligned. It looks too low. I want to either move it up a bit to align with the text, or get rid of it and just use a middle dot (?).

I have been advised that this is covered in css as:

but I cannot figure out how to either move that PNG up a few pixels, or (better) just replace it with a simple middle dot (?).

How can I make widgets in ABOVE CONTENT WIDGET AREA to only appear on frontpage. And not to appear on any other page, including post page.

The issue occurs in every blog post, it happened after an update.

I always right-justify images, and sometimes add a text below the image. But now the text isn’t aligned with the image, so it looks odd.

When I go in to edit the menu items, the MINDBODY LOGIN option is not showing up, to be able to edit or delete it, which is what I want to do.

Is there another way to find it and delete it? Thanks!

at first thanks for your work. I am using mantra since years and I find that is a great piece of work. Of course I mention it on my imprint page.

Now I have the following problem. I am presenting the recent posts on my start page. I want to show a slider on the top of it, under the headline “Feines für die Beine“. I tried several slider plugins (yours, as well), but the slider doesn’t appear. If I choose another page or a single post, I can see it, perhaps under the headline, but that isn’t too bad.

What I am doing wrong?

I am an Administrator and trying to change the logo image in the Header. When I go into the admin section and go to Appearance > Header I get a blank page with a button saying “Edit Widget: Google Analytics Stats”, nothing happens when I click it. I can’t get to my Header section at all. Has anyone else seen this or know how to fix it?

Et puis aujourd’hui j’ai voulu installé des plugins qui m’ont tout changé. j’ai alors supprimé les plugins mais le titre ne respecte plus la police “comic”

When I (automatically) publish an article from WordPress to Facebook it does not use the featured image, but adds my avatar photo to this publication on Facebook and I don’t want this. I don’t know if this is a Mantra, Jetpack, a WordPress or a Facebook problem. Can you help me. Link to the latest publication, but it never works properly. Heey, maybe a bit stupid, but I can’t seem to find how to change the text color in the header menu and the sidebars.

I want all text to have the same color of the content.

Can anybody explain where and how to do this?
