I am using WordPress with the Masonic-Theme.

As a default, the seach-symbol is shown on the right side of the navigation bar. I am able to “hide” it by using Additional CSS (e.g. “.sb-search{display:none!important}”), but I would like to remove it completely.

My goal is to have the navigation-bar centered in the middle of the homepage. Is this possible by using Additional CSS only?

how can I set link on the header-picture.
So that, when I click on the header-picture the ‘home’ appears. (The same function is already given, when I use the title-option in the section ‘website-information’.

I have a problem belonging to the widgets of the right sidebar.
Equal which widget I choose there is always a thick frame/space in white color on the left, the right an the bottom of the widget.
How can I remove this frames?

I have just a little issue with the Theme- cover page. There is always a kind of shadow in the left lover edge of the picture. I havent found a opportunity to disable it. I just have not found it, or is there a workaround? I have found other blog pages with the same issue but no solution until now.

You will notice that the triangle shaped green tint on your template header photo does not remove when I load my logo. How do I remove triangle shaped tint?

Mansonic is a great theme, but there is one detail which is not so nice: the text colour is dark grey on a black background. How can I change this to get a better legibilty?

Hello – I need help! In Germany, there is a court ruling that it is forbidden to transfer user data to the USA when using Google Fonts. What is the easiest solution for Mansonic users? In the web I found a lot of proposals, but most of them are quite complicated. There are some plugins which block Google Fonts. I tried some of them but they don′t work with Mansonic. Is Bunny Fonts an option? Thanks for any proposal what I should do!

I have embedded a Ted talk using the Ted Embed plug in but the vid wont load.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Home page does not display Title, as is expected.
Sample Page does display Title instide of a div with different background color, as is expected.
Blog page does not display Title, but is does display the div with the background color and the padding visible in Sample Page, but with no Title.

How can this be fixed? I don’t mind either displaying the Title with the background as in Sample Page, or not displaying anything as in Home page, but I don’t like this in-between that is clearly a bug.

I want to remove the side bar from my static page, and from a few of the other pages so its 100% width. I also want to have a different header on the home page than i do on the other pages. How do i do this in the masonic theme? Help appreciated

I like the Masonic theme. The problem I am having is that none of my featured images are showing up in the front page blog grid boxes. Just the Title, author and excerpt is showing.

Can anyone help a newbie pls?
I’m just creating my first WP site using the Masonic theme. I have searched the forum but I can’t find a way to fix the following two problems:
1) Reduce the font size of the Site Title, which I have entered via Site Identity and is too big
2) Reposition the Tagline so that it appears below the Site Title, also entered via Site Identity.
Site Identity doesn’t seem to have any facility to address these issues. Maybe this can be done by Additional CSS or Theme Editor but I’m not experienced in using these.
Any help gratefully accepted!

Hi,

I tried to replace the default header image by an custom image. When I try to publish the image I am getting an error message “Etwas scheint schiefgelaufen zu sein. Warte einige Sekunden und versuche es dann erneut” – in english: “Something went wrong. Please wait a few seconds an try it again”.

I waited a few secondes, I tried it again, but the error message appears every time, my changes are not accepted.

What can I do to solve this issue?

We are facing the issue that in Safari Browser none of the links on the webpage can be clicked, it is also not possible to subscribe Newsletter as the input-field can not be filled.

The Website works fine in Firefox and Chrome, the issue is only appearing on Safari.

We already tried deleting Cache and deactivating all Plugins – with no effect. Only switching the theme to Twenty Twentyone solved the issue, thus I am pretty certain it has to be an issue with the theme.

WordPress is on 5.8
PHP on 7.4
Masonic-Theme is on 1.3.8

Could you please check and let us know what to do?

I’m a rookie wordpress user. My blog uses the masonic theme. I’ve enabled the search bar and it works OK. The issuem I am having is that the text that is typed into the search bar is a dark gray and it’s tough to read against the background of the search box (it’s actually readable after the search button is clicked). I’ve done some research, and while I found some additional CSS code that is supposed to fix this problem, it doesn’t work on my site. Wondering if anyone knows how I can customize the color of the text in that search box?

Hello, I am unable to work out how to change the font colour in footer sidebar 3, the other two sidebars look okay but the third is my events list and appears barely readable with blue text on black background.

We are using the masonic theme Version: 1.3.5 on our team blog and having recently joined the team I have started looking at improving the accessibility so that it can meet WCAG 2.1 AA at least. I’ve been able to make most of the changes I needed by customising the CSS, but now I’m stuck.

When the mobile theme starts around 800 px, the main site-navigation collapses and a hamburger menu appears to open it.

You can interact with hamburger using the mouse, but not with the keyboard. This means that the theme fails WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard.

I’ve replicated this on the demo site as well.

I don’t believe this is something I can fix using the additional CSS option. I would really love to hear any suggestions on how to make the hamburger menu in the mobile theme usable with keyboard navigation.

Hi, the default colour scheme for posts is white text on back blackground. I would prefer black text on a light grey blackground. How can I change the colours of the post header?

I am building a new blog using the Masonic theme and finding an issue with the Featured Image in blog posts. I tried transferring over 1200×628 pixel images like the WordPress, Facebook, and Twitter standard and it is cropped all the images I try to upload. Why is the Masonic Featured Image size so different than the standard WordPress? What size is it?
