How can I split text and image like it’s shown in the metro-pirate theme preview:

There seem to be widgets with an image on top and text at bottom.
How can I get such widgets in the metro-pirate theme?

And can I setup how many colums and rows I want to use in the metro-pirate theme or have I to use simple html code with tables for this?

Hey, thanks, this is a cool theme, but when I switch to the mobile view (resize viewport to mobile view) I see a problem with the search form. The search form button suddenly wraps into next line, gets very small (only the icon is visible) and looks bad. Please help.

I have ~1000 posts on my site and each post is just an image, and isn’t selected as the “Featured” image, is there a way to have the theme just display the photo from the post?

I can’t pass html validation(validator.w3.org). Is it ok or it’s only in my projeckt ?

I love the theme, great work. Two things I’ve found while setting it up on my site:

In order to make the navigation fonts display correctly the following line needs to be made line 1 of style.css

@import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:400,500,700,300,400italic,500italic,300italic);

also

Line 253 of style.css needs to be changed to:
color: #000;

otherwise the comments boxes have white text on transparent background.

I use Metro-Pirate and really like this theme! I just want to know where I can go to delete “menu” that appears on my home page of posts in the left sidebar. I also want to delete “latest articles” on the home page of posts and also the “1 article” that appears in each blue flag by the list of posts in the left sidebar. What file am I going into to delete these headings?

As it is already a child theme i can’t create a child-child theme…
so if i modify the style.css, will my custom css be lost when you will upload your theme ?
