We love using MH Magazine to create dynamic, changing front pages for our client websites. Too many websites are designed like static billboards or brochures where the home page doesn’t change. I use the MH Magazine theme on a few websites and find the theme is easily customizable and adaptable for multiple uses. The best part is that when I wanted to make some tweaks and had an issue with the new WordPress Widgets, support was very quick to respond.
In the past, with support for other themes, plugins, etc., I have found their responses to be rather difficult to follow and too technical. With MH Themes support I was pleasantly surprised to find them to be very to the point and clear with their instructions and suggestions.
The support agent Medge went above and beyond to help me personalize the theme for one of my sites. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

I really liked the MH Magazine Theme that I have had since 2014. The only problem that I have had with it was updating it.
When the update screwed up BabyBoomer-Magazine.com both times before, I got them to update it properly and troubleshoot it so it is working properly. Worked Great!
Now they no longer Support their Magazine and sent me this.

We regret to say we do not offer installation or customization services. If your host allows you to create a staging site by making a copy of the main site, then I would suggest doing that and testing the updated theme there first.

This is not what I would expect from a real Software Company.
By the way, I have the Premium Version, not the Lite so I expected more from them.

Our company has deployed two commercial websites using MH Magazine 3.8.2, along with AdRotate Professional. We have been able to exceed our original goals on both pages and posts. Our design goals included a consistent and artistic presentation across many pages, a second consistent and artistic presentation across many posts, responsive to many screen sizes, and compatible with an important limited number of plugins. This review is for the premium version. I manage a lot of WordPress sites and have seen a lot of themes over the past 6+ years. MH Magazine is modern, easy to install and use, and has everything you expect or need. Customer service has been great! Very happy with this theme. After about a year using MH-Magazine-Lite on a few sites and having looked around for various templates, we decided to move to the “MH-Magazine-pro” copy. Great indeed, no regret at all! Not “all” can be directly customized of course but we always found a way to display our service according to our wishes! And there are probably options that we even did not discover ??

I’ve been trying out various responsive themes for several months but could never find one that fit all my needs and was also easy to edit and customize– and then I found MH Magazine Lite! This has become my new favorite theme!
On top of its basic user-friendliness, the associated help forum is full of threads that cover a variety of customization issues and the theme creator is really great about answering questions clearly and quickly.

I love this particular theme. The look of it is simple and clean. However, I recently downloaded the pro version so I could adjust photo sizes and make it look more like I want. I wanted it to look like this https://www.mhthemes.com/demo/?theme=magazine, unfortunately, it would not work for me. SO went back to the free theme and am okay with it. I like the free theme pretty well only wish I could get photos to be a wee bit bigger instead of being small thumbnails.

I’m using MH Magazine for a lon time. First it was a little version the pro. The theme is mighty and very flexible. With a little time and own work you can do a very nice looking web blogs. But without support and helpdesk – good theme is not enough. They have both! Just keep it up!

The theme has a lot of features, it is very flexible and looks professional.
You don’t really need a lot of knowledge to use it, it’s almost self-explaining.

My website needed an overhaul. I tried dozens of themes until I found MH Magazine. While creating a mock-up with MH Magazine Lite, I had questions. The staff at MH Themes answered my emails quickly and clearly. They provided suggestions to help me get the most out of the theme. I was very impressed, so I purchased the premium version.
The theme is easy to set up VERY flexible. There are plenty of support documents and videos on the MH Theme website. My reader feedback has been extremely positive. My website has also seen an increase in page views thanks to the MH Theme layout.

I started with light version which doesnt allow for any ads. I upgraded to premium which is actually more expensive than they advertise.
The theme is not very good. Most widgets areas do not work properly. Errors show up on live site, images show up wrong, text covers images, looks ugly, not a lot of flexibility for customization, youre expected to make exact duplicate of demo, and do it on your own. The theme only provides widget areas for homepage only. I cant use any of it other pages, only one template that you use only once for homepage. Its been a nightmare trying to figure it out as the theme documentation is also incorrect. I had to hire 4 other web designers to figure it out and they couldnt fix it either. I wish I researched other theme websites and shopped around first.
The customer service is not good either. I asked them why the widgets were displaying info it wasnt supposed to on my live site and their answer was unprofessional, indicating that myself and the other designers I hired did not know anything or how to use WordPress.
I would never spend $70 on a worthless theme again. Next time I will find a better place and better theme.

This theme is wonderful. I run a community news site and find the flexibility of the theme precisely what I need. The theme has a wonderful feel to it, and it is designed quite nicely. I’ve used many news themes in the 8 years that I’ve been running this site, and I am most satisfied with MH Magazine.
BTW – I am using the paid version of the theme. It’s worth every penny.
