Hey again! I have a page that is generated by a plugin called Download Manager (by W3 Eden) where my featured image is shown twice. Is there a way that I can make the featured image not show up on this single page? I still need to keep it in the “Featured Image” section in the page editor because the plugin pulls it into the content area.

Hello again! 3 questions for you, good sir:

1. When I go to Customize > Theme Options and change Page Content Max-width and Content Max-width to 800, the images in my post still display at 740 pixels wide even though the content seems to spread out wider. Any idea why it’s not just using the original image I uploaded? (It was in fact 800px wide.)

Hey there – been using this theme for about a year – absolutely love it! I recently moved to WordPress.com and did a fresh theme install there. For some reason, the slider at the top now shows some odd spacing – there is a large empty gray area when the page first loads. I contacted WordPress support and they tried to help with the issue but the could not figure it out – any ideas?

You can recreate the issue on my end consistently by opening an Incognito tab and looking at the homepage in either Chrome on a desktop, or Chrome on a mobile device. Screenshots of the issue I am experiencing can be seen below.

I am wondering if there is a way to enlarge the font size of blog posts on mobile phone? I was able to enlarge font size via editing the CSS file, but the changes I made only applied to desktop and laptop view. These changes did not reflect on mobile phone view. Any suggestion?

When the new minimer update installed the navigation menu on web and mobile broke. Please see site for example. https://theoriginproject.com/

Is there any way to insert hreflang tags in <head> of the home-page of the website if the main page shows the latest posts and it’s not a static page? (like here: https://i.imgur.com/RaHKeXr.png ) There are various plugins that can insert code in the header/body/footer of any page in the website, but it only works if the home-page is the static page.

Hi,

I know enough css to be dangerous now and have been having a bit of success customizing my site (I do love this theme and thank you!)
However, the title on each page (WORK – ABOUT – NEWS) is an h1 header and the element – I think – is .entry-title. No matter what I do I am unable to change it. Have tried changing the color, font size, and hiding it altogether. I would prefer the latter.
Any ideas?

I was wondering if there is any way of making the feautred image smaller? They look okay on the phone screen but once I open them on a big screen the featured images always appear very big even if I set the proportions of the image as small as possible. I would like to make them smaller so they don’t take up half of the page.

I’m having two diferent issues at the moment:

1) When I share a published post on linkedin the widget does not show the featured image in any way(print screen: https://imgur.com/a/3t9lcmW ) and it’s pretty diferent from the widget created by sharing a post to linkedin through the demo site at demo.alx (see here the example: https://imgur.com/a/EKSwnVG ). How can I make my shared posts look like that too?

Hi is it posible to set Page Content Max-width for one special page with an other Max-width

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to prevent the header from dropping down and just making it a static header bar to where when you scroll down the header bar stays at the top of the page and does not re-appear when you scroll down and then move back up. IN some cases it covers the content on my pages when it drops down. look forward to hearing back, thanks.

Sometimes a site will have one of the menu links with a circle around it or made to stand out in some way. For example, convertkit.com home page has one with a circle around it. Some are filled in with a color. Usually, I’ve seen this with a CSS trick in the menu.

Does this theme support these, and what are my options?

I thought it might be some sort of conflict with my optimization settings (I use assets clean up) but i ‘ve switched everything off, cleaned the cache and it didn’t solve the problem.

Is there a way to configure all featured image sizes in the blog page? My images seem too big when I upload them.

Also, if that’s possible: Is there also a way to configure diferent sizes depending on the page we’re in? For instance, is it possible to have a smaller image on the blog page, and when I open an article, be able to see it larger, but adjusted to text margins?

And last question: I too happen to have a plugin to estimate reading time of each of my posts. Is there a way to make the estimated reading time meter appear between the title and the featured image?

First off – I absolutely LOVE this theme – very, very impressed with your work – thank you so much!

I’m at a point where I have enough content that it makes sense to go in and tweak the styling a bit. However, I’m not sure if I should do this using CSS or theme styles that already exist that I am missing?

1. The alt text underneath images – where can I reduce this size?
2. How can I adjust the spacing above and below quoted text?
3. How can I adjust the spacing above and below H2 items within a post?
4. Can I remove the underline that shows beneath linked images?
5. Is there an “author” section where I should be adding a photo, description and other information so that it shows up underneath every post automatically? Can I increase the number of “related posts” that show?

For some reason when I try to put a navigation menu in the header location it does not go to the upper right corner of the page. Rather, it’s putting the “header” menu in what appears to be the header for the blog – much lower down and towards the center of the pager. If I turn on the blog header, that’s about the location where it ends up. How do I get a header menu to look like it does in the demo where the menu is in the upper right hand corner?

There was an error in my beloved Minimer and at this time I think it conflicts with executing of the table of contents functionality across all of my websites where use this theme.

Do you have any idea how may I fix it?

I am completely stumped. Could someone kindly please tell me why my calendar widget isn’t working with this theme. I have removed it…and put it back…disabled all my plugins…nothing.

Any date I click on..just takes me to the front page…any month I click on…just takes me to the main page.

Just wondering, how do I change the font size to 16px for mobile and 21px for desktop, and then change all font colours to black on mobile and desktop, site-wide?

I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this all day, rather than going into each individual post and page and trying to change them that way, but don’t know much about CSS.
