Hi,

I’ve created a static page for my Minimize theme but she doesn’t work.

– Page template created in a child theme
– Page created with this template = ok
– When I put my personnal page in the static page there’s no change.

Have you got an idea about this issu ?

Anytime I try and upload media I get a html error. I have tried this on 2 WordPress blogs. Both with plugins and with them disabled. Both sites are hosted on go daddy.

Hi, am getting an out of memory error whenever I go into the customize menu, specifically in the background subsection.
the exact error I am seeing is

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 38797312) (tried to allocate 1282048 bytes) in /homepages/29/d101316425/htdocs/clickandbuilds/AlbionUnitedReformedChurch/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3459

I have looked at the functions.php but it doesn’t even appear to have 3459 lines of code. I’d say 300 at most.

It seems as though the theme is limited, in that there are no clear options to edit text sizes, text colors, etc.

Am I missing something? Does the pro version to this?

i’m using the free minimize theme as it suits my client’s needs just fine.

however, there is one thing i would like to know how to change.

i’d like to add a link in the footer, where the copyright, all rights reserved and theme name/creator are. i don’t want to delete the theme name creator, simply want to add a link to my own site, since i set everything up for them. free advertising for me, also ?? lol

any tips? thanks

the page I’ve set for my home page is displaying my /blog meta data. how can I fix this, is this an issue that you are aware of?

I’m having an issue whereby i can’t see my ‘top level navigation’ on mobile and tablets. It shows fine on anything above approx 600pixels wide. Does anyone have any ideas?

My man navigation bar on my site
(www.trevssite.com) Now has the text at different levels. I changed the colour of the nav bar but not the text or margins.
I want all of the text to be level with the ‘Panorama Sunrise’ text.
Also, how can I align both navigation bars to be of equal width?
I want my main bar to be 85% width, which I have adjusted before, but I want the sub navigation to be the same. I can’t seem to find the setting for this.
The site is a backup to the main site which is hosted elsewhere so I use this for testing updates etc…,
I am also trying to put a border around the Contact Us button.

I clicked “show summary” instead of “full content” on the blog posts, but when I go to my site’s home page it’s still showing the entire blog post for each post. I want it to be abbreviated. How can I accomplish this?

Where can I remove (or hide) the the block that appears just under each post showing my name, picture, and a link with the text “View more posts from this author”?

How can I the Hide Reply/comment box at bottom of pages?

I tried it in settings/discussions and removed all checked boxes. No result sofar…

I created “course-page.php” and “header-course.php” template files in a minimize child theme by copying page.php and header.php. Then I removed the code that builds the side bar. The side bar disappeared, but content is still constrained to about 2/3 the page width.

Any suggestion how I can remove the restraints?

I started experimenting with Minimize this weekend and I like it a lot, especially the tables. But I am confused about how choosing blue differs from the default. In other words, when I select blue, nothing changes. So I am wondering if you could tell me what is supposed to change?

I filled out the (two) fields as appropriate, then clicked “create child theme”. And all I got was:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_stylesheet_directory() on a non-object in C:\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\sds-one-click-child-themes-master\admin\includes\class-sds-themes.php on line 181.

Still not sure what this plugin is supposed to do, but I thought you might like to know that it is not working (at least on my system).

I have a display failure while using menus with the minimize light theme.

I have 7 items in the main menu. One of them has submenus (the about me item). If the page is fullscreen on my macbook, it works fine. But if I look at it from an iPad, the menu bar is split into two lines. And if I click on the “about me” menu item, the submenu is displayed over the second menu line and the text of it isn’t readable any more.
You can reproduce this on notebook too. Just resize the width of the browser window until the Impressum item is below the About me menu and then move your mouse over the About me Menu item.

I am using iPad with iOS 7 and Safari 7.0.1. But I can reproduce it in latest Chrome for Mac too.

I maintain a curling club web site and am looking for a theme like “minimize” to update the site to wordpress.

In that the majority of users accessing the site use IE and about half of those use IE8 (actually, the predominant IE browser used), my site needs to support IE8, regardless of any opinions about this browser.

Does this theme work sufficiently well with IE8 or should I pass on this theme to find another that does support IE8? It would be nice if themes here on www.ads-software.com would tell us what browsers are supported, along with the level of wordpress supported.

Why can’t this theme be set up as a child theme? I know how to set one up but can’t get the style sheet to load instead it is loading the parent them and the theme options one to change the colour.

Is it getting blocked in the parent theme?
