Menu Items not working anymore

Hi and thanks for this great theme.
Unfortunally after a couple of week now the menus are not working. I cannot say what has been changed that they are not working, i just update the site as soon as possible every time.
Do you have an idea what could be wrong?

Making the category pages excerpts

I’ve now set the General to “Show full content” but I’d really like if my category pages (if you click a category you get shown its posts) only showed their excerpts.

How can I do this?

And, will this affect the centering of the Site title & blog description, or is that relative to the header width?

Issue with Font change not 'sticking'

I have tried multiple times to save the Header font as anything but the default, no avail. It looks saved then reverts as soon as I view the site or make any other changes. Any ideas? The default is Helvetica Neue.

Sidebar customizing

I would like customizing the sidebar. The main sidebar should only appear at the startpage “home”. At the other pages I would like put other sidebars with another content. Is there a plugin that I can use with this nice template (mont blanc)?

L.S.,
I am an amateur for sure but liked to try mont blanc. Uploaded and activated just to lose my website. I get this;

Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/deb41206/domains/gestalttherapy.nl/public_html/wp-content/themes/mont-blanc/framework/customizer.php on line 516

I cannot get into wordpress either to just activate another theme. I do not know how to code, although I do know how to find the php file the error is in. Just without line numbers so `i could not find the error if my life depended on it.

I did a lot of work today and neglected to backup before downloading the theme, i am a bit upset now.

Please advise.
