I have installed the Music Lite theme on my site, and I can’t get my tour dates to show along the bottom. I have installed the Organic Custom Content plugin, and I have added my tour dates from the Tour Dates menu, but all that shows on my page is a grey bar along the bottom where the tour dates should be. I would appreciate any help.

I am not able to get , how to put a video on my homepage as the background.

I have a problem on our website. I have set the blog post page to https://rhymeswithorange.biz/news/.
On a PC I am able to access the blog without a problem.
Using a mobile device I am unable to view the blog posts and am redirected to Home.
I have read several articles on what to do, they point to JetPack and other plugins but unfortunately it doesn’t solve my problem.
Please help me discover what I have done wrong as I would like it be fixed or i will have to use another theme.

I’ve recently installed and started modifying the music lite theme, and have hit upon an issue.
The home page image is showing up on the blog post page, I don’t want this to happen. Can someone explain the best way of changing it so that when the news blog page loads there is no image?

maybe I missed that part, but I thought the Music lite theme comes with some shortcodes as shown in the live demo. It seems like I don’t have any of them (e.g. [accordion]) available in my theme setup. General shortcodes like [embed] work fine.

Is that because I’m using the free version of the theme?

Hello. I just started using Music Lite last week and I can’t get a home page video or even image to show.

I have a Youtube link set up under Header Media. I’ve also tested uploading an MP4 video. And I have a header image uploaded for the fallback.

I’m not sure if it matters but I have my Homepage Settings set to:
??A static page
??Homepage – home

What can I do to get the video and/or header image to show?

Hello! I am working on this music site for some friends. They asked me to increase the size of their band logo, but seems that the logo size it is already at its maximum. Is there any chance to make it bigger, please? Thanks

Hello, I’ve just done an update to Version: 1.3.3 and have serious issues.

1) The Homepage menu is completely messed up showing multiple instances of the menu. The social media links are also showing a lot of the default link image in spaces that should not be there. The update seems to have removed the menu as was previously set-up and that should not (and in the past has not) been affected by a theme update. Luckily I’ve been able to get this sorted, but the theme update has never affected this before and should not have affected now.

2) The Homepage slide which shows the highlighted posts are not showing the excerpt – or rather it is but the font has gone to white, making it invisible unless highlighted – was not an issue before. This then leaves an ugly space that looks wrong to people viewing the site.

3) When creating new posts, something has changed meaning when I type in the visual editor, the text in the text box is not showing – that also is in white, which makes using the visual editor extremely painful and unhelpful. The only way to use it now is to change the font color, and then do your post/page and then remove the custom color so it does not affect the actual site post. I raised this with Classic Editor plugin editors and they say they have not made changes that would affect that. I need to see if there is something in the last two Music Lite updates that may have inadvertently affected this (which was when the issue happened, but I thought it was Classic Editor).

I have not included my clients site here as it is a known artist and of course I need to protect their privacy and site by not highlighting the exact site with issues. I am happy to give that in a private environment to better help sort the issues.

I did try to revert back to the previous iteration of the theme but the back-up is not restoring it.

Hope to hear from you soon. This has been a relatively stress-free theme but there have been a couple of issues in the last two updates (as highlighted above) that are trouble-some.

i noticed that the theme does this by default and i dont like it.

Hi, couple of questions regarding tour dates.

Is the tour date supposed to read the date entered in the date field for sorting and to stop displaying once the date has passed. Mine is doing neither.

I created one gig middle Feb, second one early March, and a third for the end of Feb – and that’s the order they are displaying, not in correct order of occurrence.

Also, the mid Feb date has now passed, but the gig/event is still showing on the home page.

Any help appreciated.

I am trying to centre the header text. I am using the Elementor and I can adjust all text except the header. I go into the page and I can edit the text but I can’t align it to the centre. It always is left aligned. How do I change this?

In the customizer I tried to set an image as header and at the same time a video I uploaded as mp4 to be shown above the header (in the middle).

In the preview it works most of the time. But when I save it and return to my page, the homepage is screwed. The image is as big as my complete screen, the video is not centered and the complete homepage is under some half transparent grey layer.

When I click on the customizer again, I get the error message “Something went wrong. This change set can not be modified” (in german).

How can I solve the problem?

While I was able to delete the tagline text for my featured image on the ‘site identity’ page, I cannot remove it on the other pages. How can I do that?

Firefox and Crome have no problems.

How do you alter the font type… can it be done within the dashboard or must it be done via the CSS on the server??

Just installed Music Lite, and was testing out the features… I like how the tour dates show up in your demo, but cannot figure out how to enable them in the theme. I have successfully added 3 tour dates in my WordPress dashboard, but after looking through every section of the customizer, and everywhere else, I cannot figure out how to make them appear as you showcase them in your demo along the bottom of the homepage’s header.

Please let me know that this is not something you only offer in the premium version… that would be highly disappointing.

I tried remove “Welcome to WordPress…” by different recommendations, but have the problems.
To hide it through the Custom CSS , it works, but together with “Welcome to WordPress” disappear all the posts from all my pages (with videos, audio etc).

My Theme is “Music Lite”.

Any ideas, pls?
