Hello everybody,
Thanks for your help.
I m unable to display child page with narga theme. Is there anything special to do. With oher theme, child page appear under parent on in the menu. But nothing with narga, only the parent page.
Anybody who knows what to do ?

Hi,

in the NARGA theme, does the slider work on a static home page?

I can get the slider to work when I set the Reading settings to Your Latest Posts but not when it is set to a Static Home page.

How do I get a slider to work on this theme when a static home page is set?

Two columns – how to activate?

Hi, excellent theme!
I see the theme is tagged with “two-columns”. How can I actually activate this?
I would like to achieve the following with the child theme:
1. For large (and maybe meduim) screens display two columns with posts below the Orbit slider.
2. For all screen sizes show a small size version of the post’s featured image above the post title that links to the post when clicked.

2.1 Update Broken

Good job on the 2.1 update. It broke the entire wordpress site, on first use after the update. I couldn’t even uninstall the theme from admin since that was broken too.

Fortunately I was able to track down the problem to 2 lines of code in wp-content/themes/narga/core/library/layouts/custom-header.php at lines 56 and 60.

Both !empty(get_header_image()) calls in the if statement needed to be replaced by first putting the return value of get_header_image into a variable and using that variable instead. The empty function requires a variable.

So. Good job testing that guys. It kinda looks like you didn’t.

Missing menu in smartphone/IPad?

Hello! I’m using your beautiful theme Narga version 1.6.
The page looks great on every computerscreen, but when I doublecheck in my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S3) and I-pad, the icon for menu shows, but when I press it no menu appears, only a #-sign is added in the addressrow.

Is there a setting I’m missing, or what is wrong?
Really greatful for help…
