I want to defer recaptcha script (used with Contact Form 7), because it gives some issues on Insights.

I tried to add this code: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/option-to-have-recaptcha-js-marked-as-defer-async/#post-18143512 to functions.php but it breaks my website.

How can I do/add this?

I am using the NEVE FSE template. I have a navigation bar that has a drop-down menu (ABOUT US, SERVICES and so on).

Under “ABOUT US” I have a number of sub-menus that drop down when the mouse hovers over “ABOUT US”. The text for some of these, such as “INTERNATIONAL MARKETS” shows up on two lines rather than on one line. Is there a way to stop this text from wrapping or overflowing onto two lines? I would like to have one line per sub-menu item.

Some plugins such as Gtranslate require a shortcode to be inserted in the link description within the menu item.

The shortcode is used to switch the page from one language to another while retaining the url that was displayed at the time.
Thus, instead of switching from the home of one subdomain to another, the page can be translated directly within the navigation tree.
In other words, the page en.mysite.com/mycategory can be linked directly to es.mysite.com/mycategory without having to be redirected to the home.
In many themes, this function works without any problems, but it does not seem to work in Neve FSE.
If the description is deactivated it does not work, if the description is activated the code is displayed, without being interpreted.

It seems that the problem is only in Neve FSE, other themes work without problems.

There is a ads space on Neve FSE?

I am trying to create a custom plugin and keep getting the following error when activating it:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.

The plugin does seem to activate however, but obviously this error raises an eyebrow. I tested with a very basic custom plugin and I am even able to reproduce it by activating the Hello Dolly plugin.

I enabled debug mode and got the following log:

It seems to have some issue with the after_otter_activation function which is part of the theme.

Is this a bug and something that should be “ignored” for now?

Note: I am running WordPress locally via Docker.

I am experiencing an issue with the product image gallery display on my WordPress site using the Neve FSE theme. When viewing a product page, the gallery images appear in a large size instead of showing up as thumbnails below the main product image, which is the usual behavior in WooCommerce.

You can see an example of this issue on this page: Apex Legends Premium Figure.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue so that the gallery images display correctly as thumbnails beneath the main product image?

If you switch between the homepage and the blog page, the font size seems to change for the navigation.

Switching between the homepage and the pattern page does not seem to have this issue.

I’m not exactly sure what the cause is. Maybe someone here has more of an idea?

Good morning! I’ve been having some trouble applying the templates creating in Neve FSE theme onto my actual website. The posted tutorial wasn’t entirely accurate, as there wasn’t a template option on the right hand side when I open a page from the main wordpress page. I finally was able to figure out that if I create a “new” template (vs using one of the pre-made ones listed), then if I go to “quick edit” for a page, then my created template will be listed in the drop down menu for “templates”.

However, I can’t figure out how to add an individual product template to the individual product itself. Since the template drop down isn’t showing on either the quick edit or after opening the product to edit it. Any suggestions?

Right now it is possible to only change overlay menu to: off, mobile or always using UI.

Is it possible to toggle it on a specified site width (Custom CSS @media?)

Everything ist translated by default except the “read more…” link for each post. How to solve this?

Was fighting white-space on the right and the horizontal scroll bar appearing. Had to add extra CSS [body {overflow-x:hidden}] to remove it. Not sure if that is a bandaid fix or if there is something off with the CSS for other content items.

Each time I’m trying to add a post link from my website into a FB publication I’m getting an ugly view of my website logo instead of the nice featured picture and excerpt. As if FB couldn’t get the information from the website and goes back to the homepage of the site. This theme doesn’t allow excerpt and featured image from any pages by the way, so this probably why. But I’m just wondering why this is also the case with post where it should be supported.

Any idea?

I’m using Neve SFE. In my block theme site editor I am confused between the “header navigation” and “navigation” options that show up under Design/Navigation.
The header navigation shows the nav as I have set it up in my template. Under navigation, it shows all my pages.
What’s the best practice for using these to set up sub menus?
Or do I still use Appearance/Menus?

I’m working on a staging site using Neve FSE. On the front page there is a content block that I cannot edit. Is there a way to edit it?

It shows up on my page with the message: Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing!

Would like to just delete it, but I am not sure if this will impact other blocks or other pages? When I go to delete I get the message:

Deleting this block will stop your post or page content from displaying on this template. It is not recommended.

On mobile, my hamburger menu is now locking the site. When I access it from the main page, it does not display the menu and I cannot scroll anymore on the main page.

Is there a way to add the word menu above or adjacent to the hamburger menu for mobile devices?

I did some usability testing with older people and they don’t know what a hamburger menu is.

When I add some block for a nice H1 template on FSE, the “normal” H1 of a page still appears.

If i delete the text, it also deletes it on my template block.

I didn’t find any option to hide page title on FSE.

Can you please provide me a quick help?

My about us and our services pages copied itself when in actual they are different pages with different content when I created the pages. Not sure how that happened. Please help me separate them.

I am trying to position the menu extreme right but it keeps staying central.

Also the view of the header image is distorted in mobile view

hi, i would like to change the icon for navigation when using the website on a mobile. Is that possible ? At the moment its 2 lines and i feel that a more visible icon would be better. I read that it can be changed with Orbit fox plugin, but that didnt help. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance

Can you add options to control the breakpoints of any template and the behaviour of the layout. In this case I need options to set the number of columns at specific display widths, like “default: 4 columns; under 1070 px: 3 columns; under 780 px: 2 columns; under 480 px: 1 column.” Your contribution would be very appreciated!

I started using Neve FSE with 1.0.6, and all was well. With the 7, 8 and 9 updates, there has been a padding error on my site (actually, same error on 2 sites). In several spots on my pages, there is strange padding to the side that didn’t appear until the 1.0.7 upgrade.

Here is my block structure for the red section on the front page.

I am going to reinstall 1.0.6, so if you visit my site, it will look correct.

After updating from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7 I got the following padding. How to fix this now?

Hint: I remember I made some changes to the padding for some mobile blog posts, because I experienced the same issue like displayed here in versions before 1.0.7.

So far I have no experience with FSE and such Themes in WP. As others I’m struggling to achieve most things as fast as with old themes. Including the FSE child theme differences I need to look into.

I was trying to achieve the look I most like:
A background image which is shown on the whole screen including the Header (Logo + Navi) and the Cover area.
I did try by adding an Image in the Header and Cover area as I did not find hints in the Theme docs.
I wonder how to best achieve this as I found no obvious settings in the Templates or Blocks?

About us, stress management and ergonomics pages have copied each other. Even though in dashboard pages section I can see what original content is from front end all pages are same. Please help.
