I installed the Neve theme on a newly created site and I can’t delete the Search and Meta widgets inside the Sidebar and not even the Text widget in Footer 1.
I tried:
– Deactivate all plugins
– Change theme: I can delete the widgets! So the problem is the Neve theme
– Enable accessible mode
– With Gutemberg editor
– Without Gutemberg (deactivated by the child theme via code)
– Delete the widgets from the serialized array inside the wp_options table inside the “sidebar_widget” option
– Enable debugging (see below)
The debugging detected me, only once actually, this error:
PHP ??Warning: Undefined array key 1 in /web/htdocs/…/wp-includes/rest-api/endpoints/class-wp-rest-widgets-controller.php on line 711
It’s as if the theme, programmatically, was continuously creating those widgets.
Any suggestions?

]]>Hoping someone can help. I offered to help a friend of a friend who runs a charity and who has been let down by their web company. The site was a mess and needed updates & fixes. I’ve been able to fix most things but on the woocommerce product pages the menu font color is displaying as white on white whereas it should be black on white. I’ve spent ages trying to find fixes but really struggling and they are keen to get their gift shop up and running to generate income for the charity.

Hi everyone,
for each dog of our organisation we set up one Article. The articles are linked to the Post Grid #1 via the categories.
On desktop everything is fine, on mobile some of the dogs show up correctly, but starting from the above mentioned URL all the profiles are blank, when you click on them. It works on mobile till page 4, raya is the first one which stays blank after clicking on it: https://stray-einsame-vierbeiner.de/gluecksgeschichten-story/raya/
All the pages are built in the same way. Cache is cleared and it was tried in multiple browser, the error appears on Android and iOS.

there are some background images that are not showing on desktop, and some formatting issues, e.g. change in letter colors and disappearance of dots, row heights changing – all that happened after the latest Neve theme update, and it’s only showing on desktop… I cleared my cache, and I regularly updated Neve, so this was just the latest update happening.

Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

]]>I am using the NEVE FSE template. I have a navigation bar that has a drop-down menu (ABOUT US, SERVICES and so on).
Under “ABOUT US” I have a number of sub-menus that drop down when the mouse hovers over “ABOUT US”. The text for some of these, such as “INTERNATIONAL MARKETS” shows up on two lines rather than on one line. Is there a way to stop this text from wrapping or overflowing onto two lines? I would like to have one line per sub-menu item.

I have a menu item with quite a long text which results in the text going outside of the container on mobile and not fully showing.
I feel like I have tried everything to have the text line-break but with no results. The only thing I have managed to do is making the item scrollable via:

I’ve spent the last day trying to make my web and mobile page views cohesive with much trouble and little progress. The theme design has a large picture on the side that is not showing up for the mobile view. I believe this may have been referred to as a hero section or something of the sort, but I could be wrong. This is a serious issue as I need this photo to show in all views. This is a new site build and any advice is appreciated.

Hi, I want to add some text before my blog posts shows. If I change the WordPress settings so this is not regarded by WP as my Blog Posts Page, then I see the text I added. But the moment I set it to be the Blog Posts Page again, all my text that I want to precede the Blog Posts list vanishes again.
Before I added the text, the page (Blog) was blank.
How can I get it so that I can add some introductory stuff before the blog posts are listed. Massive thanks.

]]>Hello, I noticed something weird in the new Customizer setup, wondering if it’s intentional or not. In one of the recent updates, I noticed that there are now two different versions of the footer layout available, desktop and mobile (similar to the header – didn’t use to be like this).
In the desktop footer, I get an option to include the Footer Menu widget somewhere. However, in the mobile footer, the option to insert the Footer Menu is not available… I only get Footer Widget Areas 1-4. Is this intentional? Why is the Footer Menu only available in desktop?

]]>Hello there. I’ve discovered a weird bug that I can’t fix with CSS, hoping you can have a look?
I have a client with very poor eyesight and she has her desktop browser zoomed in quite far to compensate for this. As a result, she gets the mobile/tablet menu view in her desktop by default. See site here: https://fixhealthcarenowcolorado.org/ and zoom in your browser enough to get the mobile menu.
Now, the issue is that the sidebar menu shows a secondary overflow-y scrollbar for the list of nav menu items, but if you click on the scrollbar with your mouse and try to scroll it, it will not respond. It respond with the mouse scroll wheel and it responds with finger touch if you have a touch screen. But it will not respond with a click action of the mouse. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it? Is it a pointer-events-related issue?
I have tested this issue in several browsers and on several other sites I’ve built with Neve theme and the issue remains consistent, very strange.

Doing some research it seems like large DOM trees often comes down to the wordpress theme.
Thus, I was wondering if you know how this could be reduced?

]]>If you create two columns and put content in each one the second one will overlap the first on mobile. It looks fine on the preview in the edit page. In order to get them to not overlap I have to put new lines with a – that matches the background color. Our photo at the top overlaps the button and the green image below I used – that match the background to make the image not overlap.

]]>I installed the Neve theme. After setting “Don’t show site title” and clicking “Publish”, the page was stuck in a loop. I closed the page and tried to logging back into WordPress, but the page is looping. Changing the name of the theme folder in File Manager didn’t work. I can’t access WordPress anymore.
I did change the name of the Neve folder. It didn’t work.
Any Idea?

I am building a website using one of Neve templates and Otter blocks , I need to change the website’s pages main image size in mobile view to be different than the main image size in the desktop version. as I need main image size in the desktop version 1920 * 628 , and for mobile view 1920 * 1400
My question is, can I do that action using CSS please? and if yes, could I have the code sample please and the steps that I have to take in implementing that code? (where to add it, what the things that I have consider,..)
Also, if it is an easier/faster way to do that action rather than using CSS, what is it please?
