I switched theme from Twenty Seventeen to Newslist – now image captions don’t display, as text is white on white. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

On my start page the list of latest posts shows placeholders for the featured image. Since I do not use featured images, I also don’t want these placeholders.

I have added
.mh-image-placeholder { display: none; }
(additional CSS)
but this has no effect in the Newslist theme.

Can someone, please, help?
