Hi there, I asked for helped in another WordPress thread and there they said I should tell the issue here. And they said the code seems to be an old one even the theme is updated to the newest version.
When I use sql 8.3 I got this message on the website:

hi,
since yesterday i see on the presentation page this message:
WordPress’ Front page displays option is set to use a static page. WordPress guidelines require that the static page option have priority over theme options.
Go to Settings ? Reading and set the Front page displays option to Your latest posts to enable the Presentation Page.
…but the option “Your latest posts” is set.
Any idea?
]]>I’m using the Nirvana theme and the homepage setting usually shows up in the customize menus, but not with a new website installation. I can resort to using the presentation page but I’d rather not.

]]>Hello, how setting menu from Nirvana theme in full width as demo version?
I can’t do it in Nirvana setting and it’s aligned to image header not more than 1200px. Thanks!
Unfortunately, as of this version, I can no longer call up sub-items from menus.
It only works when you reset to 1.6.1.
]]>The latest version gave me 2 new problems:
1. i had a static slider image and a button on it wrapped in a ‘a href’ tag, with the latest update that link doesn’t work anymore, adding it around a div tag is unconventional but it works, well worked, so i added it normally, still doesn’t work, so i had to use the Link field but it’s an external link and there is no way to make it open in a new window, so now i have to install yet another plugin and redo the banner in that instead, making the built in slider feature useless to anyone with external links.
2. the pop-up hover notifications are now displayed in a medium gray background and a very similar but slightly lighter gray text, it’s very hard to read.
]]>Good morning,
Can someone please tell me how i add a meta description to my homepage, which is the presentation page in the Nirvava WordPress Theme?
Thanks

Hello!
I am using Nirvana theme and it is great!
However i noticed one bug (? -not really sure if it is actually a bug-)
In presentation page (which acts as home page) the “columns” section is not responsive on mobile devices if they are on “animated” mode. To be more specific, the columns themselves (and their images) ARE responsive! However, the full animation is not! It breaks.
It is one image cut in 4 pieces (as seen in the Nirvana demo), each one for a different column and it is brilliant and beautiful!!!
But on mobile devices it shows one image below the other and all this beauty is gone…
Now, as i said, i am not sure if this is theme bug or a mobile bug, however i can’t believe that there is no solution for such a simple thing (i have searched the forums too)!
Please check the screenshots to fully understand what is the case:
Any answer on how to fix this (or an explanation why it can’t be fixed) it would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
]]>Hello,
I’m using Nirvana and I’d like to add the Title of my website (either plain word or with a logo) inside the Main Menu Bar, at left side.
So it will present itself as:
*Title* Home News Contacts
Can I do it? Should I use CSS or there is a quicker way?
If it can be done, can I also change the dimensions of the title/logo?
I want to add a video I’ve uploaded to Text area 1 on the Presentation Page which I’ve been able to do using the code:
[video src="https://cswgardening.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/myvideo.mp4"]
However it is left aligned when the rest of the Text area is centred and I’ve tried for about three hours to find a way to centre it including custom CSS, Widget / shortcode plugins and plain old HTML aligning and I can’t get it to centre.
Somebody must have done this in the past so any advice for a simple gardener would be much appreciated.
TIA
]]>I can’t link to the site I’m working on as it’s hidden but problem I have is that since adding WooCommerce I can’t get the menu order to stay the way I’ve set it in the menu setting within the theme I’m using (Nirvana). I did have the menu in the order I wanted, but with WooCommerce it insists on putting it in alphabetical order. And including stuff that I’d really rather have as icons (ie, basket) rather than a text button… am I hoping for the impossible?
]]>I am currently making the switch to Gutenberg and most things seem to be fine. But I am having issues with image captions.
Before Gutenberg, image captions were centre aligned and italic, and gallery captions popped up on hover but were otherwise invisible. Now, the image captions are standard text by default and I can only make the italic manually, and they are stuck at left align with no option to centralise them. Also, the gallery captions are permanently over the image, not just on hover.
Is there a way to fix this?
]]>Hi,
This will probably not be answered by anyone, let alone resolved or fixed, but i decided to try my luck anyway.
I was trying to share this website link on Facebook, but no image shows up when i do so, i would really like the logo to show up.
You can see what it would look like shared on the Facebook debug tool
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Ffranandcompany.com%2F
Normally such a problem is fixed simply by adding an image as a featured image to the page you use as your homepage, but Nirvana doesn’t use a home page but a custom gathering of widgets and others called the Presentation page, which has no options/features/settings for a such a thing.
You would think there would be one in the Customizer->Site identity, but the people over at WordPress haven’t heard of a little thing called social media yet, maybe one day …
So the only way i can think of fixing this issue is to stop using the presentation page, and just use a normal page instead, which kinda defeats the purpose of using the Nirvana theme in the first place (same goes for Tempera)
Newer Cryout Creations themes use a page instead of Text Areas (which is a much better way to do that btw) so you can set a featured image to the first one and that would probably show up as the thumbnail when sharing the sites link.
Waiting for Nirvana to get fixed for this will probably not happen, maybe there is a plugin for cases like this.
When I first encountered this issues the site was using Nirvana 1.3.2, i updated it to the newest 1.5.2, but nothing has changed in this regard.
]]>I see PHP notices from this theme when I’m running updates via WP-CLI.

]]>When I am customizing my header under the appearance tab, all looks great! I can see the whole cropped photo. But….
when I preview my first post all but the very top of the photo is showing! I’ve been trying for days to resolve this issue on my own so I would be tremendously appreciative if someone could help me with this glitch. and, honestly, I am an idiot when it comes to this kind of thing ?? so please make your answer for dummies.
Many many thanks

I have just updated to the latest Nirvana theme and a horizontal bar with “Skip to content” has appeared. How do I get rid of it?
I’m a novice Also 75) so nothing about php and css files.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

When using the Search widget to search pages, the results returned display the author and date (of the page). I am trying to switch this off as this information is not relevant in the results for pages.
]]>Hi Nirvana friends,
I am trying to get reviews installed on my homepage (nirvana). It works fine with all the other pages, and I did succeed to put a shortcode on the homepage; but this does not show in google. I want it to show up in google as it benefits the results.
I am using ‘wp review pro’.
Would love to hear your input if you have an idea.
Cheers,
Simon

]]>Hello,
After the update to WP 5 (currently 5.0.1) I started seeing errors like this:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /path/wp-content/themes/nirvana/404.php:10
Stack trace:
#0 {main}
thrown in /path/wp-content/themes/nirvana/404.php on line 10
This also is reported for files like index.php, archive.php or header.php.
But it does not happen all the time. I see it gets into my php error file only occasionally, when some call is made.
How could I troubleshoot this?
Thank you

]]>Hi, I need some help. My site is doing strange things with images, all the images show fine in most views. When on portrait view on mobile some images show way too big. They show fine on mobile landscape. One on the front page and the link images on the posts. The ‘download pdf’ and ‘take tests’ buttons.
The strange thing is that it didn’t used to. I don’t know if something changed?
Any help in resizing these would help. I have tried some CSS fixes that I found in internet searches but they didn’t work.
Cheers
