]]>I use the Nisarg theme and used the Gutenberg gallery block. It creates ugly grey boxes beneath the images for those that have captions. Does anybody know how I can get around this? I like the captions on the images.
The link is to a test site which is about as vanilla as I can make it – new install of wordpress, install Nisarg theme, upload some media and create a gallery.
]]>Hello all,
For several years I have been able to easily change the header image on my NISARG-themed WP site. I never had much trouble with cropping, if any at all, as NISARG seemed to accept just about anything. When prompted to crop, I would just drag the box to include the entire image and pow! there it was.
I am trying to change my header image now and NISARG is auto cropping the image. First time I have ever experienced this. The image I want to use is pretty close to the suggested width, and only a little off the suggested height. When I do my old trick of dragging the box to fit the pic it still auto crops from the bottom.
I tried cropping when prompted, reducing the height of the image from the top, and when I published it had left the top and auto cropped from the bottom. Has anyone else encountered this? I have just updated to the most recent version of NISARG.
Any help greatly appreciated!
]]>Hello,
How can I remove the search, meta and archive box on this site?
Thank you for your help ??
Hi,
Is there a way to have post excerpts displayed along with the blog post (ideally, at the top of it)?
In the theme’s style.css, I can see the style .entry-summary
, but the summary itself simply never appears anywhere on the site. Is there a way to include it automatically at the top of every post page?
As a workaround, I found that if you enter the following short-code at the top of a page:
<!-- wp:post-excerpt /-->
… then the post excerpt does appear as expected, and it’s possible to style it using custom CSS. For example, I have set up:
div.wp-block-post-excerpt
{font-weight: bold; font-size: 1.1em; margin-bottom: 2em}
However, is there a way for the post excerpt to appear automatically at the top of every post page?
Is this, maybe, a feature of the paid version of Nisarg? I’m using the free version for now, but I’m willing to purchase the Pro version if it resolves this issue.
Thank you for any help!
]]>I picked this theme because of the minimalist layout and leaderboard options. When I put an image into a post, it’s cut off by the sidebar as though the content box is spaced for the entire page width. It’s like this on EVERY page I have an image on. I saw that someone else noted this two weeks ago and it hasn’t been responded to. This is a determiner if I would use this and go on to pro or seek another theme. This is expected basic functionality.
Edits: I see. It’s been THREE MONTHS since anyone has addressed this issue.
]]>Hi,
I have set up the title of my webpage (Off the trail) in the customizer under “Website information” and than “Title of website” and this is automatically saved as a H1 header. I have tried to find a way to change it/remove it, so that I can set a proper H1 header for each page.
Any advice on how to remove the h1 tag from there?
Thanks

I would like to put a small image or logo to the left of the blog title in the header. How can this be realized?
The theme design allows this only at the top of the top line. But I would like to have the image directly in the large header area next to the title.
Hello,
I am working on a page (using the Nisarg theme) that is not yet live. I have posts that are simply a photo, a caption, and possibly a short description. I want to have an archive page that will display all posts with full-sized images with the post content. Currently, it seems the theme will only display a featured image on an archive page, and the featured is cropped. Using a featured image also duplicates the image on the post page, which I do not need.
I’ve done this years ago with a different theme, but I’m not sure how to get this to work with Nisarg. Could someone please point me toward a solution? Many thanks!
]]>Hi.
Is it possible to fully remove the top image?
When using the “hide image” button in customization is still leaves a big bluegrey area on the top of the site
I Love the simplicity of the NisargPro theme, but would like to add the ability to have my blog posts show the post updated date when I edit my posts or add content. I would like it to be directly under the post created date, using the same font, sytle and colors. Just can’t figure out how to do it. Has anyone tried to do this and could help me?
]]>Hi! Im having a lot of trouble with the mobile menu version.
To start in the menu settings there isn’t a mobile menu version to check. I only have the options: add auto pages and display locations.
When on the desktop version everything works fine however on the mobile version when I press the menu. I press a category to navigate and try to get into one of the subcategories in takes me to the next category instead of going into that subcategory.
I don’t have a tablet to see if it works on it or not.
Thank you for your help!

Hello,
While editing my website (theme nisarg) via the platform Filezilla, I made a big mistake. I need somebody to send the code of the file “footer.php” of the original theme (not edited), since I deleted all of it and saved it so I can’t get the original version back.
I would really much appreciate the help.

Hi,
I just downloaded the Nisarg Pro theme and I’m now trying to remove the search icon from the menu bar.
Any ideas how this could be done?
Thanks!
]]>Hello!
I hope I am wording this correctly…
On a mobile device, my text and pictures are unable to stretch wider to fit the screen because it seems that the margins of the theme block it.
For example, a paragraph of text reads very narrow on the phone. I would like the margins to be wider, so that the paragraph looks shorter and wider rather than long and narrow. I would also like my pictures to take a fuller portion of the screen. Right now, they are reduced in size because of the limits of the margin.
Hope this makes sense and thank you for your help.
]]>Hi, I have been surfing around for solutions but I haven’t found any that works.

]]>Hi All
I’m using NISARG theme for WordPress hosted with GoDaddy.
I’m wondering, how can I view some basic site stats, e.g site hits. I can’t find anywhere on the dashboard settings. I also checked the Yoast SEO (basic version) and can’t find anything there either.
I touched base with GoDaddy and they don’t provide these stats since this is WordPress – managed service. But this is so fundamental for web hosting and I’m a bit surprised that they don’t provide.
Looking for any recommendations, please. Thank you..

]]>Hi There,
I’ve chosen to use the NISARG theme as it clean and simple, and I like it. For the Home page, I’m using a static page so Bolg posts are not showing up on the main page, and all blog posts are showing up on the dedicated Blog page. All good so far.
However, running into some glitches where on the Blog page (the one that opens upon clicking the BLOG at the menu options on top) that lists all the blog post entries (feeds) as the summary is not showing the updated info that is actually on the blog post. When clicked on the READ MORE it opens the actual blog post with the correct info.
So it appears it is pulling that summary info from some other place rather than the actual blog post. To resolve this issue I: 1) removed the cache from WordPress, 2) took the post to Draft Mode, and then republished 3) cleaned my browser cache but none of this is helping.
What can I do to fix this issue? it’s annoying that it’s not showing the right / updated into. Thanks
]]>Hello there,
so I assume you all know how the theme NISARG looks!
I would like to add icons on the header (I was hoping on the right, after the menu) but I see no way to do it. I have the free version and don’t want to upgrade it just now.
Alternatively I’d like to create a widget but cannot find a way to put icons in a line, linked to external pages.
Is anyone aware of a solution?
Margherita
Dashboard message requires update php to 7.3 for security reasons. When I did this I received multiple “Headers already sent” errors when trying to view or login to my site.
I reverted back to 7 to keep the site functioning.
Is there a fix for this?
so my desktop site looks great but on the mobile version there is an unused unwanted menu icon which doesn’t do anything it just takes up space. see this https://mega.nz/file/o2xXDBhb#C3dq8ngpVowFTXqGgB7wxnv7RquTebAhNApr1kTewOU ringed in red.
I dont even know if that is the right name for it so cant search the forums but suspect its to do with the Nisarg theme. But Im using Mega Menu with it so maybe something in that
any ideas? anyone
thanks
Hi there. I just updated the theme. It fixed a banner issue I’ve been having for a LONG time, so that’s good but now my top primary menu is all wonky. It used to be across the top of the banner and did not move with scrolling. How can I fix this? Thanks!
