I’m quite new to wordpress so this might be a dumb question but I need help anyways: A black line appears at the side of my thumbnails and I don’t know how to remove it. When I decrease the size of my browser window the black line will disappear and when I increase the size it will get bigger. So I’m guessing it’s because the thumbnail is a set size and not “responsive”.

Does anyone know how to make the thumbnails “responsive” or to handle the problem some other way?

I’m using the jetpack plugin’s portfolio as recommended with the theme, but when I select anything other than “everything” in the project-type filter the formatting fails and the bordered between the featured images disappear. Is there anyway to fix this?

I’m also wondering if it’s possible to not display the “project” header. I’ve tried targeting it with CSS, but I can’t find the right code without removing the project-type filter as well.

On my new website https://www.jakobvalentin.de the header is not clickable when i’m using it in safari on my iPhone.

Can you help me with that one. I really wouldn’t like to use an extra menu entry, so that its possible to get back to the start page.

When creating a Project in the Portfolio section, adding a gallery with Gutenberg creates a 1 column layout and not a grid layout.

If i do it with the Classic editor, it’s fine. Problem… I do everything with Gutenberg as it’s the new editor coming out with WordPress 5.0

Steps with Gutenberg Editor

Create Project
Add title
Add gallery block
Upload images or select from media library
Insert Gallery
Save

Preview or view project -> Single column visual

Hello I would like to ask if it is possible to create sub-folders of portfolio works inside a Portfolio folder?

For example if i have as frontpage the Works page (template portfolio) and for example i have 3 portfolio folders with photography work 1.Weddings 2.Architectural 3.Portrait

is it possible the Weddings folder to give another five for example sub-work-portfolio sets? (for example Elisa & Peter, Luke & Mary etc.)

I try to add multilingual support using Polylang plugin. Everything works good except for portfolio. There is one language version of portfolio only.I need four versions od portfolio. How can I do that? What is the better plugin for multilingual support?

I try to test the Noah Lite theme in Internet Explorer and Edge on Windows 10. There are the problems with Portfolio scenario. The images are displayed incorrectly: each image is doubled. You can try this test on page https://demos.pixelgrade.com/noah-lite/.

Hi, few things I am trying to change but don’t know how.

1. On mobile view, there is a huge gap between the title and menu icon, and the page title. Example: On home page the gap between “Ben Gleason” and the title “Blog” is large. How do I minimize that and decrease that gap?

2. On the home page it says “Show – Everything” and you can choose what topics to choose. How do you remove that?

3. On the home page, where it says “Blog”, is it possible to change that word “Blog” to something like “Home” or “Home Page”?

I really love the graphic design of this theme, but I’m having issues with the logo resizing in mobile.

I’ve uploaded a logo in the recommended size, and it looks great on desktop but for smaller windows and mobile, it auto-resizes. The logo height remains the same but the width will expand to 100%, resulting in a logo that is severely cropped. I’ve turned on and off the Jetpack mobile with no resulting changes either. Could you advise to why its auto resizing so drastically?

How do you post images? All I see is the option to create a blog post. I just want to post images like the theme demo. Please help!

I’ve seen that you calculate the left and right margin width for portfolio images (50% – 50vw) but on iOS devices the images are not centered (right margin is much wider). Do you have an idea why? And would say on iPhones the images are too small.
