Is there a way to add an image header with the Nucleare theme? I was able to add an image header on a wordpress.com site but when I tried to do the same on my www.ads-software.com site, it doesn’t let me.

I use the plugin Polylang to display my blog in German (default language) and English. I recently started having the problem that when I enter/click the default address of my blog (without any suffixes), I am automatically redirected to the English main page. When I then try to change the language to German I end up back on the English main page with the suffix /en/. Funnily enough, this only happens sometimes, and only on the main page, all other pages and posts work fine in both versions.
My home page is set to “your recent posts” and is not static.

I just had two quick questions regarding the “Nucleare” theme:
1. Is there any way to easily move the sidebar (containing the tag cloud, archives, and calendar widgets) over into a floating sidebar, similar to the way the sidebar works in the “Ansia” theme? I love how in the “Ansia” theme those widgets stay hidden in the sidebar slider until expanded; it looks incredibly elegant. Is there a way to bring that design feature over into the “Nucleare” theme?
2. On the homepage listing all blog entry excerpts, is there a way to enable the showing of Categories and Tags directly on post excerpts themselves? Currently, you need to actually click into a blog entry to see what Categories and Tags are associated with the entry. Is there a way to toggle this data to be visible on the homepage with post excerpts? Does this question make sense?
If these features are available only in the Pro version, I’d happily purchase the designs for the functionality. Thank you so much!

I’d suggest replacing it with Quicksand
– which is also available on Google fonts.
2. Search bar
IT opens up through whole page and that’s a bit inconvenient.
It would be better if it’d just drop down.
3. Text select
IT would be nice if selected text was set to some color:
some nice shade of green or yellow which would match the theme.

Whenever I try and use /wp-admin/themes.php?page=editcss or the cut-down version in the customize section, the page fails to load properly and I can’t edit the CSS. It crashed this morning as I was editing CSS, and I haven’t been able to make changes since. I’ve tried to edit the CSS using different browsers and even different PCs to no avail. The issue must be at WordPress’s end.
]]>On a full width page layout, the featured image automatically gets resized to 810px (“?810” at the end of the image url + width attribute set on the <img> tag)
The problem is that for full width pages, the main content container goes up to 1140px in width (larger screens), so a 810px image there looks pixelated.
This is due to functions.php, line 50.
The “nucleare-normal-post” image width should be “1140” to accomodate this size. With a smaller page width, it will still be fine, just higher resolution.
I’m using this theme on wordpress.com, if a fix is done to this theme, how and when would I get it?
wordpress.com does not allow me to modify the theme php files unfortunately, I am solely depending on your help there to get this issue solved and be able to complete my website.

I have recently begun using www.ads-software.com to create a food blog. I do not want the full posts to be displayed on the home page so I am using the ‘read more’ tag. However, this does not display in the correct spot. Even when I remove the code for the tag the button remains in the middle of my post and cuts it off halfway through a sentence. Is there a word limit set on the posts? If so, how do I remove it?

Hello! I have changed my theme to show the full post rather than the excerpt by following another post in this forum. (By changing <?php the_excerpt(); ?> to <?php the_content(); ?> )
That works great but when I do it makes my sidebar move to the bottom of the page rather than where it should be. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
