Complete freedom – its a category on its onw

I′m a person who loves simplicity and after changing several things at hand (CSS) and remove the right sidebar… now my website looks like I want.
3 menus, upper, middle and footer. In my case well used.
True, it isn′t an easy template to change because the control panel don’t have many options. But if you know some CSS and you have a ‘theme child’ or have a plugin * that allows you to change the CSS at hand (without overwriting the original), I recommend that the end result might be something like my website.
(*): You have two plugins that allow you to change CSS at hand:
– Plugin ‘Jetpack’ contains: Edit CSS.
– Plugin ‘Simple Custom CSS’.

Watch out – Unauthorized Billing
It may be a good plug-in I don’t know. I tried it out wasn’t suitable for me but now two years later I find out that I am getting billed $30 a year for some that I don’t use.
This company does not, by their own words “Send you an email notice every time they bill you.” I’m asking for a refund of my $60.00 I don’t mind the first year payment but I like to be automatically billed to my PayPal account.

Good theme. Looking forward to seeing future versions.

I am really annoied with this theme. I need to see it properly on the mobile.
1. If you open https://www.ricettedelcuore.it on a mobile you see nothing. At least I would like to show the latest posts.
2. So, now, you have to click on “full website” and then you see a quite good homepage.
Can anybody help me with point 1? Or, as alternative, I would like to see immedialty the full website versione!
Thank you

Light, clean and simple would be the first impression given by this elegant and professional theme. Perfect for those who need a quick and easy starter. For those who need advanced customization of the home page for instance, the Oxygen Theme is probably a bit too simple. Nice responsive behavior.

I use the Oxygen theme for calorie-count.us. I like the minimalistic design of the theme. It’s good for content-loaded sites. The theme is very easy to set up.

The look of this site is very slick. For myself, design is what’s most important. The site works well, and I have had no issues yet (knock on wood) with upgrades to plugins, WordPress itself, or the theme. I have dealt with other themes that are more easily customized – but if you’re not afraid of CSS, then this theme shouldn’t give you much grief. Just be sure to use a child theme.

Just what I wanted my blog to be

I have been using this theme for around six months now and I haven’t had any issues. The featured slider and primary posts took a little ‘min re-engineering’ when I first installed it but since then I have had no breaks (touch wood!)
For anyone wanting a fairly simple theme with a nice featured homepage and a smooth backend i’d strongly consider Oxygen!

This is a great theme to customize (child theme!!) because it starts off very clean and simple. The media queries all seem to work well with the kind of content I have (not much at the moment). Nice font choices, but I’m also adding custom fonts myself.
Thanks

A lightweight versatile theme.
I used to be frustrated about the mobile version, but I found a solution to solve the problems.

I’ve been working with Oxygen for the past few months, building a fairly complex website for a church. It took a little digging to figure out the homepage slider and how it works w/ the posts, and some trial and error to figure out some other details — but I am a WordPress newbie (this was my fifth or sixth site), so more experienced developers might find it a cakewalk.
Anyway, I do love the theme. Using custom menus and the catlist plug-in makes it even more flexible. I’ve had little or no need to dive into the css or php files. I’ve found everything to work “as advertised,” and wouldn’t hesitate to use this theme again in the future.

This is a very well-executed theme. Coded with great attention to detail, with a beautiful clean design and nice typography. Good color scheme, lovely options page with support for a number of beautiful typefaces. The theme has a responsive design that works equally well on computer, tablet, and smartphone screens. Four out of five stars.
Due to the relatively transparent php, html and css code (inherited in part from the Hybrid core by Justin Tadlock), Oxygen is easy to customize. A child theme is created in seconds and a customized site can be up in a few hours. A great basis to work with as a parent theme, but perfectly ready straight out of the box as well.
Why not five out of five?
For two reasons:
1. The included page templates aren’t flexible enough, which hopefully will be improved in future versions. The full-width template is truly full-width; it would be nice to have it optionally with a sidebar. The front-page template is gorgeous but a bit inflexible in terms of setting up: all front page posts have to be hand-picked using a custom post_location metabox and the featured content slider does not support sticky posts. Further, sidebars are handled in an unintuitive way, with the call for the secondary sidebar being buried in footer.php and the sidebar being disabled for the full-width template in an “offhand” way via functions.php. At these and other points, the code of the theme is less than transparent.
2. The theme is perhaps a bit too heavily based on Hybrid, with a lock-in effect. Although Hybrid is a great framework, its downside is that documentation is sparse and support forums are hidden behind a paywall. This makes it hard to find good supporting information for some of the core features of the theme . For instance, a lot of metadata is called using Hybrid shortcodes like [entry-author] etc. It is hard to find out how to work with these shortcodes (and especially how to customize or translate them) without paying for Hybrid, which is not at all clear when you first download Oxygen.

But more customizable features should be added
