I’m a retired developer and tired of wading through lengthy and complicated code. Therefore, for a hobby project, I was looking for a clean theme, easy to understand and modify. After a couple of hours of walking the theme forest, I luckily stumbled upon this theme (papercuts). I worked with it for two evenings already, and I LOVE how clean the code is. Easy to understand, simple to modify and work with. I can achieve what I am want, without any hell breaking lose from code changes. RECOMMENDED.

I was tired by reading responsive themes reviews and randomly opened some themes at www.ads-software.com site. So I also found this theme by chance and it is really cool – clean, responsive, good looking. Also this theme has a good structured styles.css, which is easily customizable.

As a conclusion, I’d recommend the theme both for modern hobby-site or blog.

Downloaded this theme by chance and this is the cleanest, clearest I have tried so far. My only problem is how to customize the header and the footer a bit better, but I think that is up to me to understand.

I did not find the one text widget that is supposed to be used with the footer. Any ideas how to improve [ link redacted, please do not post links in reviews ]?
