I realise that the Parament theme is no longer supported but I have been using a child theme version of it on my site for the last 4 years or so with no problems. Lately I am seeing that when accessing the site from a mobile device (telephone) the ‘site-title’ text is not modified like the rest of the site when using the Jetpack mobile theme option. The WPtouch plugin gives similar results. The child theme css has been modified to increase the ‘font-size’ property of ‘site-title’ plus some other characteristics (colours etc.) to personalise it. I was wondering if there was another way to change the font size in order to get the mobile theme to work correctly.

I’m trying to troubleshoot a WordPress installation with the Parament theme, and one of the problems I found was that the sidebar is too narrow. I asked in the Fixing WordPress forum and they suggested going here. Is there any way to widen the sidebar? If so, how? Thanks!

I am trying to have a few pages in my site, where I do not have the side bar, and where the main container is full width.

I have found this useful topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/theme-parament-how-to-remove-sidebar/ which takes me part way.

I have changed template file using if ( !( is_page(“782”) ) ) to remove the sidebar on a specific page.

I am now lost in the above topic where the answer to adjusting the main container width on just selected pages is “That shouldn’t be a problem. Just locate the class for the template page you are using and specify it in the CSS selector…for example:
.page-template-full-width-page #main {” …

Can someone please help with what this means. Do I create a new page template, if so how in parament to I specify that a page will use that template. Parament does not appear to have a template selection option under page attributes in the wordpress editor.

Can anyone please tell me how I can alter the coding to just display ‘categories’, and ‘leave a comment’ but remove all my tags from the post?

I have added a plugin called WP Author, Date and Meta Remover which removes all metadata but I only want to remove the tags from the posts.

Also can you tell me whereabouts I need to amend this code?

The area at the top of the page where the header images goes. I would like the hight to be smaller from top to bottom. Right now I have an image of a hight of 200px. I’d like for it to be 125px or less. Is there a code I can drop in the CSS editor to make that happen?

I found a code that would resize the image but it’s the space it fits in that I would need the code for.

I really like the Parament theme as it is my company colours but with the latest Google Algorithm, the website needs to be responsive. Is there any chance you would be willing to make it responsive, please? I cannot find anything similar in both colour and without the need for a full length header or banner and lots of images…

Hey, I’m a noob to modifying the php, and I’m just looking to have a copyright at the bottom of the home page. I don’t even have enough posts yet to know if it’s infinite scrolling, but if it’s doing that I want to turn that off too so that it only shows the most recent few (don’t care how many specifically, really, just want it dynamic). Is there an easy way to do that in settings, or an easy snippet of code to paste in to the php?

I am currently using Parament theme.
I’ve installed the ‘Check Email’ plugin, and when I send an email, I’m unable to receive it.
I’m using payment and submission forms, so I would like to be able to send automated email responses to people who are using my forms and payments, as well as a copy to my personal email.

I’m using the Parament theme. I want to install a logo in the top right hand corner of my pages, separate to the header title. I have installed a plug in to do this, but it can only be installed in a side bar, as parament doesn’t have a header bar to manipulate? I do not want the logo to take up the entire header, nor be a featured image, just a small logo in the top right hand corner.

I’m using the Parament theme. I have two sub pages that keep redirect to my home page, rather then the sub pages themselves. In the backend I can edit, but on the front end I cannot access the page as it redirects me to the (static) home page.
How can I fix this?

I want my header image to link to sending a email when a person clicks on the header image. I’ve created the child theme, copied the header.php files, but now cannot find the correct place to put this code from what I can find from other posts. Other posts, state to find this in the header.php “the second occurrence of <?php get_search_form(); ?>” and place this code:

But I cannot find this code in my header.php! Please someone tell me what I am missing…I know I am so close!

Hello, I’m trying to link a full width template page to a 2nd style sheet, if I name the second style sheet Parament Child, can I then link the template page to it? I already have the second style sheet and the template page, but I’m uncertain of how to get the template to link to the second sheet instead of the original

Most WP templates allow for a full width page, thus removing the sidebar. How can I remove the sidebar without using html code?

I have tried every solution on the big www. I can se the new sidebar in my widget sections in my admin panel,after editing functions.php and some other files , and I can add widegets in my new sidbar indside the admin panel but it never shows up on my website. Only defult Primary (rigth side shows up) any suggestion ? must maybe edit the width of the theme to get the new sidedar appear ?? I dont know ??

Am using Parament v1.3 and only a partial main menu is showing, even though all of the items are visible in the menus of the Dashboard.

Have tried a number of things, based on advice from the Support team at our website hosting company, but none seem to work:

I have tried amending php.ini to add:
max_input_vars = 4000

Have amended wp-config.php to add:
(define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’);

Have tried increasing execution time.

They are now suggesting advising the theme creator, or re-loading the theme, but that means I will have to re-load the menu (and we have a large menu).

Is there anything else you could suggest please?

My theme is Parament, witch I am very happe to use. Looks so cool.

I would like to have a page where I collect different feeds fra RSS’s.

If you look at my site, yogalabpdx.com you’ll see that some small squares show up show up under the menu bar. They push the widget box down. Single squares also appear between blog posts and seemingly inside them.

When showing any of the other pages (about, contact, etc.) these extra squares don’t appear.

I’d like them not to appear on the home page either…

I’m having a problem with the Parament theme displaying properly on Ipad and Ipad mini.

I have checked on PC – it displays fine, no issues.

I have also checked a number of different mobiles both with android and apple ios – no problems there either.

It also displays correctly on Samsung tablets too.

For whatever reason on Ipad and Ipad mini the home page is just a blank white screen.

Also, one or two posts, when clicked on, display the previous theme I was using instead.

But, most pages will display properly on the Ipad/Ipad mini.

So the main issue is the main page not displaying for me.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to adjust the width of this theme to make it wider either by pixels or by percentage of the screen? I’ve been using the Parament (child) theme for a while and thought I saw a width adjustment/selection option somewhere when I was setting it up. But now I can’t find it. Or am I confused about what theme I was looking at?

I accidentally deleted a part of the content.php and I need to restore the code. I was attempting to remove the “Posted By” orange box from the posts, but it did not work. Is there a setting where I can restore all of the code? Or can someone direct me to a place where I can copy and paste the original code?
