I use sub- and subsubmenues on my homepage https://www.gesamtschule-marienheide.de. If you access the page via smartphone or tablet the submenues doesn’t appear. You just can access the top menu.

Greetings! AMP homepage is: https://www.615lawyer.com/amp/ .. SERPS indicate the AMP page is active, but when clicking through users land on my blog page, not the home page. I have a quick fix in place of two new posts acting as links for redirects to the proper pages (personal injury) (car accidents) (contact) .. but need some help. I have the issue logged on the AMP for WP site.

Greetings – My site https://www.615lawyer.com is having an issue presenting links with underlines. Specifically: Truck Wrecks & Motorcycle Crashes are not underlined on the home page. Any assistance in getting these underlined to appear as a link would be appreciated.

My development site is running on SME Server 9.0 at home. In an ibay, so the wordpress installation is located in servername/topsoc/html/ but accessed from a browser by http:/servername/topsoc/

I’ve tried rewriting the path string %2Ftopsoc%2Fwp-admin in the browser’s address box to see if adding “html” will bring up the screen, but nothing works.

I don’t know enough about scripting to work out how customize.php uses return=xxxx, so I have no idea what the problem is, other than it has something to do with SME Server and the way customize.php uses the parameter passed by return=xxxxx

A quick question I hope. I have a number of header images uploaded in my PicoLight and I am using the ‘Random’ option. How to I remove some of those old images so that they are not part of the random cycle anymore?

I’ve set up images in my sidebar and have assigned a URL to them to enable a click-through to the destination pages. Rather than click through, however, I see a small blank page hovering over my homepage with a loading “wheel” in the center. The destination pages never load. This occurs whether or not I select to have the URLs open in a new window. This could be a Jetpack issue, but I thought I’d start here.

Hi! I just activated Picolight, and it looks like my Adsense and Amazon ads in the sidebar are getting cut off. I tried using smaller boxes from Adsense, but they just didn’t show up at all. I didn’t have this problem when I used the 2014 theme. Please advise on how to fix. Thanks!

I try to create a menu with all my pages in it. I maybe have 25 pages that I want to put in in a menu, but it seems that I cant get it to work out.
When I create and save the menu I want with all my pages it only save about 7 pages?! And sometimes it double create pages in the menu and then I got around 14 pages in on menu. So annoying. Do you have any tip for me how I should to get it work.
And often when I save the menu, the webpage hang it self up and I have to refresh to get it back. And then everything is gone again or have create doubles.

Normally the article header always shows

But due to long category and tag lists the header is sometimes longer than the article itself.
Is it possible to configure the header just to the date and the buttons or at least to hide the tags?

I keep getting hits for the “nonexistent” file called ubuntu-r.woff which is in the picolight folder.

A little reading shows it as a font file, should it go elsewhere or have its permissions bumped? Mostly it appears to be crawlers that are trying for it.

Can I install a child theme NOW after I’ve already started making changes to the parent theme and expect to have those changes saved later when I install a future version of Picolight? Or did I need to have the child theme installed from the get-go? I think not, but please, someone, share your wisdom.

I’m clear about how a child theme can prevent css and other changes from being lost if a new version of that theme is released.

However, I’ve made css changes to Picolight and haven’t added a child theme yet. Can I add a child theme NOW and use “@import url” to get theme files from parent theme–and be assured later if I update to a future version of Picolight that my changes won’t be lost?

Note: I’m planning to install the child theme–and all future style changes will be made before the next Picolight version is released.

On the template page, right below the header there is an H1 Tag. Mine says “Welcome” because that’s the title I gave it on my home page.
The link of this H1 tag is blue. I want to change it to black. I’ve highlighted the word with firebug to find it’s location in the Stylesheet. However, when I open the Stylesheet and scroll down, I can’t find the correspodning css line for the color of the H1 tag. Again, the line is there when I view it with Firebug–but not on the stylesheet. I’ve also looked in pagnavi-css.css and can’t find it there either. Anyone got a solution?

Picolight is a clean and simple template, but I’ve got two unresolved issues:

(1) I want to edit/delete the “reply” section and comment box at the bottom of the page and had no luck in locating where this could be done. On dashboard, I clicked on “Edit” in “Appearance” and checked style sheets and went through variouis PHP folders, but to no avail.

(2) I want to edit the “home” link that’s below the header. I want to swap out “home” with new copy and change the color. I can make changes to the HTML in Firebug, so I know I’m make the right edits. But I can’t seem to find where I can make the actual HTML changes in the template.

I had to migrate our site (https://www.nemzotics.com) to a new web host and now the images don’t come up randomly like they used to. I updated the Picolight theme to version 1.1.16 thinking that may resolve the issue. There is a different photo for each page but the same photo stays attached to the same page instead of rotating like it used to. Could you please help me resolve this issue? Thanks!

This is not a problem query it is a question about something that works with Picolight!

I have applied your updates (twice) and the theme stays happy and healthy! All customizations are saved.

On another theme I always lose my header. I do not have a child theme ( i am a little fuzzy on the topic)

Is there a coding that you use that protects customizations from being lost?

In the add a page there isn’t a template with choices like full page. You have to go to quick edit to find it. Under Template there is only the choice of default. Usually there are a number of choices like full page that you can give to say your cart page.

First, I love the theme. It’s really fast, and simple, but with a nice design! Also the Infinite Scroll plugin works great with it!

But, I want to remove the “website” and “email adress” fields from the comment form. For some reason, I can’t find these fields in the comments.php or functions.php files.

Where can I change this?

I have installed picolight theme and until this morning the theme had no bugs I could notice.
I changed the header image, the right column was ok. This morning I noticed the right column had disapeard and moved to the bottom and nothing was done to make it happen.
Some help please.
