At the bottom of the page, all latest posts are there. They’re also not in an particular order. How could this section be eliminated, or at least be place in order and determine which posts should be here by selecting certain categories.

wenn ich meine Seite durch die PageSpeed Insights laufen lasse sticht der schlechte Wert für den Cumulative Layout Shift hervor.

Soweit ich das erkenne, liegt es daran, dass sich das Menü zun?chst über alle Inhalte legt und dann geschlossen wird.

Das ist manchmal auch auf den Screenshots zu erkennen die PageSpeed Insights hier macht.

Bevor ich da selbst Hand anlege dachte ich will du dir das vielleicht einmal ansehen, da es auch andere Nutzer betreffen kann.

I am trying to set my home page and blog page to show the same conent (post slider on top with the latest blog posts).

From the customization menu, if I choose to show a static page for the home page, here is what is displayed:
Home – Post slider
Blog – Post slider + Latest blog posts

However, if I choose “Your latest posts” through the customization menu, then here is what is displayed:
Home – Post slider + Latest blog posts
Blog – No content

How can I have the home page and blog page show both the post slider and the latest blog posts? Or at the very least:
Home – Post slider + Blog Posts
Blog – Latest blog posts

Is there a way to make the header height smaller so people do not have to scroll down on the page to see the content? On my iMac it is fine, but switching to two other computers (one iMac and one PC), the header graphic takes up most of the screen.

i′ve ran a Pagespeed test of the Pocono – theme at Google and it gave me quite bad results although I haven′t altered the theme in any shape or form . The most severe issues Google found were the following:

– Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
– Minify CSS

Can you help me in any way ? That would be so appreciated!

I’ve recently picked up the Pocono theme and am in the process of building my site around it.
I love the flexibility, but I’ve run into a bit of a wall with seeing that there’s no color/font adjustments in the theme customization panel.

Can somebody tell me how I can go about customizing it? Or is it a feature locked into buying the “pro” version of this theme?
It just seems like a very basic adjustment that almost any other theme I’ve worked with has included!

Just a FYI – I tried the latest version of this theme and it doesn’t seem to be able to pick up Twitter/Instagram/FB icons from genericon. Looking on Github, that font doesn’t seem to contain the social icons any more, they’re in a different repo called social-icons.

Any idea how to fix this?

I’m using this theme for a client and I’m confusing why it’s creating 7 versions of the pictures she’s uploading. This is absurd. Here’s the versions it’s making:

Full
Large
Medium_large
Pocono-single-posts
Post-thumbnail
Medium
Thumbnail

With all these resized versions, each post she makes has about 1MB worth of thumbnails. How do I stop this?

[Edit] in functions.php I see this – which of these can I eliminate?
