Hi, 2 years ago I managed to change the colors of drop down menu itens, letters on the menus and the hover color, for both desktop and mobile versions.

But some months ago I had a problem with my website, and when I got it back online some of the configurations were lost, includind the changes on the menus I mencioned above.

So, could you please help me changing those itens on the menus, as I don′t remember what I did before to get it done!

how to Remove ‘ Featured ‘ word when using Sticky post?

I am using the preferential lite theme. There is a problem when using an iPad. If you use an iPad (or inspect the site and choose IPad as a device) the submenu does not work. The click on a primary menu item immediately takes you to the page, there is no chance to click on a sub item.

I have made a quick fix now on the website of danscoaching to show the mobile menu (with all options shown) on screens that are smaller then 1100 pixels but that is just a temporary solution. I would really like the ‘normal’ menu to work on a iPad. I have looked at your demo website and it shows the same problem on that site: https://demo.styledthemes.com/?theme=Preferential So this seems to be a problem / bug in your theme.

I have a long tagline. It automatically wraps to a new line, but I would like to be able to control where the break occurs. Inserting a <br> causes those literal characters to print (rather than the tag being interpretted). I also tried entering the HTML code for newline and carriage return with no effect.

Given that the tagline text occurs in multiple places (<title> html tag, meta tag, and tagline <h2>), I’m guessing it’s being parsed somewhere, but I cannot determine where.

The social bar at the bottom is huge and stretched. It also is not allowing me to add addition social networks (email).

How can I change the Green background color of Call In Action Widgets?

I’ve been trying to fix issues with drop-down menus not working on mobile devices (I have an iPad running iOS 9.3.3) — tried plug-ins, adjusting menu.css, adding a script to menu.css, nothing worked. So I deactivated and deleted the plug-ins, uploaded the original, unedited menu.css file, and decided to adjust my site layout to offer mobile users a different option. (Site is mbtca.org.)

When I went to Appearance > Theme > Header, I got the left-hand menu and a big white space showing the WordPress login box and a message that my session had been deactivated. I reentered my login and password … same result. I closed the browser tab and tried logging in to my WordPress admin dashboard. Entering my username and password was an endless loop. No error message, just … back to the login every time.

I requested a new password, disabled all the plug-ins via FTP, and was able to log into WP. Went to Appearance > Theme > Header and … here we are again. I’ve cleared the cache and cookies, deactivated Preferential Lite to activate a different theme then reinstalled PL. Same thing.

Oh, and now WordPress isn’t recognizing my username and password for the subdomain I administer.

I like all the colour options you provide. However, I would like to change the blue behind the menu to another colour, but that’s the one thing missing in the cutomization. How can that be accomplished?

I’m not sure if this has to do with the theme or not, but can’t figure out what else it might be.

There’s a page I’d like to enable comments for. However, I’m not seeing any options to enable comments for that page when I am in the edit screen. For other post types there’s a discussion heading, but not so for pages. What could be the problem?

How do I change font size of site title and tagline?

When I created a child theme a banner image showed up. It is the screenshot image for the theme. I can’t find it to get rid of it or to put something else in the widget-banner. There is no content in the widget-banner and when I try to put something else in there it does not show up.

Hi, I was wanting to hide the page titles in this theme and found that there is an option in Basic settings to do just that globally. But it doesn’t work for me. No matter what it is set to the page titles still appear. I have found a workaround with a plugin but thought it worth mentioning that there is a problem.

Since the recent upgrade to version 1.1.1, my post page is only showing the newest post. My Settings>Reading is set for the blog page to show 30 posts.

I’m using the preferential lite theme. How do I get the other pages in my menu to show up as seperate pages of their own?

right now if I click on tournaments it loads under the image on the front page and I DONT want it to do that, I want it to go to a brand new page. I see on the demo page that I can click the different pages and they go to brand new pages, so I know it’s possible I just can’t get the information from the reference documentation

I’ve added a background image to my blog but I can’t see it because the content background colour is hiding it, how can I make the content area transparent?

I have installed the preference lite theme along with the Preference Lite Child theme which is active.

I cannot see where to change the colours of the primary menu. I have looked in the Appearance – customize – Colours but cannot see an option in there for the menu.

Do I need to make a change to the CSS?

I selected the option “Stick this post to the front page” under Publish>Visibility>Public on one of my posts. It does not appear on my front page.
