]]>I have designed an intranet portal using presswork theme and site is working fine in chrome and firefox but it creates problems when viewed in IE (any version). Contents of drop down menu goes beneath the content below. Widgets from sidebar display below main content and other things also change.
I am not a programmer and have very basic understanding.

We installed the slider widget on our blog but the slider does not appear on the “home” page tab, but rather on the page you see when you first enter the site. Any ideas on how to fix this?
]]>On my blog site, using the Presswork 1.0.4.2 theme, the page navigation does not work on the bottom of the page (such as trying to jump to Page 2, 3 etc).

When I try to click to a different page, I get the error:

Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found.
Navigation works fine under Categories, Archives, tags, etc. just not on the first page a page navigation.
Any suggestions.

I have a child theme set up, but I can’t override the media queries from there because they’re being written in as in-line css (with !important, no less). My question is what’s the best way of changing/overriding the media queries but without deleting the other css added during stylesheet.php (which is what removing the include from functions.php would do) and without editing the parent theme?
I’m not particularly experienced in php (the whole point of using this child theme was I’d only be writing css. oh well!), so any help is super appreciated… Thanks!

I’m looking to make the first post like the second post where the image is aligned to the left of the text and smaller. Yet the entire article is full width.

It’s a wonderful theme! I just need to have a different header on each page.
The header on the Home page needs to use an html file that scrolls text over the header image which is 930×390. I used Sencha Animator to make this. The other pages use static images and are 930×260. I am using the WP Display Header plugin to get the static headers. I can get one or the other to work, but not both at the same time.
I just need to get the Home page to use the larger animated header. The code that I’m using in Header.php is not working (I don’t know php very well). Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi everybody
the problem I am having is that text formatting always apply to ALL text in a page, disregarding if I select only a portion of text to which the formatting I’d like to apply.
So if I want a line of text to be centered I don’t really now how to do because if I click “Align center” tab, all text will go after that and not only the line I selected.
Also I just noticed that color picker doesn’t work; if I select a word the color palette doesn’t detect its color.
So it seems that all my text writing controls have gone weird!

I’ve got 3.2.1 WordPress + Presswork 1.0.3 and I need to manually enable header logo. as soon as the page is refreshed all get’s blank (just autorefresh – changing links ect. doesn’t spoi).
So my question is: how to change the mysql entry to add the header logo?
The only way I could get it to work with a mapped domain was to turn the mapping off and use the subdomain. For someone like me who is always tweaking my site, that’s just too much hassle.
Too bad, I really like this theme.
