The credit card field all of a sudden became disabled. I upgraded to WordPress 5.5 and also updated some plug-ins I use.

Please help to resolve this issue.

I am having a problem fitting my header image into the Publishable Mag theme. I have cropped it to the suggested dimensions of 1900x200px prior to upload. After I upload it the theme doesn’t display the cropped image (which doesn’t actually require further cropping because it’s cut to exact specs). Instead it displays an upper left? portion of the image. Thank you for your help.

FYI, I know nothing about coding or modifying code. It was suggested that I put the following into this CSS rule:

background-size: 100%;
}

I don’t know how to do this apparently, as I tried to copy and paste into the “additional CSS” lines and the header pic turned black/disappeared.

In using the Jetpack Subscriptions Form, the e-mail address field does not appear and hence people are unable to sign up for subscriptions.

Just purchased Publishable Mag Pro theme, and cannot find any way to change the fonts. Such a simple thing but I cannot find where to do this. I tried to contact Admirable Themes, but their website won’t load. I cannot even contact them to request a refund of my pro payment tonight. If anyone has an idea where the fonts are hidden, I would appreciate hearing back from you. Thank you.

I have my homepage set to show the most recent posts. When i view the homepage from mobile the title of each post and the summary are center justified. I would prefer this text be left justified as it is on desktop view, and in the post itself on mobile. How can i make this change?

I’m not getting any feedback here, so I’m not sure if I should still be posting…

I am using the Jetpack plugin and included its “Subscription widget”.

This widget uses a class called .required.
Your theme’s css has a rule for the .required class which changes sets display: none; among other things.

You should sharpen the rule for example, rather than:

.required {
  display:none;
  ...
}

you should have:

.some_class .required {
  display: none;
  ...
}

So that it doesn’t interfere with other plugins.

Is this clear? Do you have any suggestions for how I might work around this until you fix this?

I’m using the polylang plugin and would like the logo in the header (the one that is entered in Appearance->customize->Site identity) to change according to the current language.

And set the theme name to “publishable-mag” and the key name to “custom-logo” but it did not work.

Do you have any suggestions for how I might display a different logo depending on the locale?

When I choose to upload an image for the logo in the header, the theme suggests that the logo be 155 x 44 pixels.

Is this correct? This seems quite small.

If I try setting a slightly larger logo it seems to look ok. Is there any reason why you recommended the dimensions that you did? If we can deviate from the dimensions, can you specify by how much?

I test how my site would look on large screens by using the browser to zoom out (ctrl + “-” on most browsers).

With this theme, the header image (i uploaded one of size 1900 x 200) starts to repeat at large sizes.

The solution I found to this was to add a css rule as follows:

#site-header {
  background-size: cover;
}

Is this the correct fix for this issue or is there a theme solution that I’m missing?

I really like your theme, it’s perfect for my website, I just need help with tweak to get it exactly how I want it.

So, my site (mindthatego.com) is exactly how I want it in desktop view. However, in responsive view, I’d link to reduce the size of the header bar, as at the moment the black bar takes up a lot of space below the logo.

I’ve searched and searched the CSS, but I can’t find anywhere to alter the header size in responsive mode / mobile view only.

Could you help out with this?
