Hello and very grateful for any assistance ??
I notice that my blog does not display well on mobile devices -seems to be one vertical line – I have received conflicting advice on how to remedy this. Firstly my googling suggested a WPtouch plug-in (one of many suggestions of course) but I was leery to do so since none of the options had been tested with WordPress 5.8 Next, I read that most likely, my (free) Quintus theme is not “responsive” but I cannot determine if it is or not.
I just want to know the very simplest way to display the blog at its best on a mobile device. If I DO need to change the theme, do you have any theme suggestions to best suit a writing blog that needs to be responsive and free …
I have a multisite running WP 4.6.1 on PHP 7 via php-fpm and Apache. I have the latest version of quintus available on the multisite. On sites that are using the quintus theme, I’m getting an error in my apache log every time someone navigates to the site.

This is only on sites using the quintus theme, so it seems to be an issue with the theme itself. Could anyone advise? Thank you!
]]>Love the Quintus theme but I cannot “brighten” the tagline – which is white font against a black background. The Header (also white) is fine but tagline remains ghostly. Any advice appreciated.

But the reply box comes up and it ask them to Put in Name, Email address, and Website to post in the comment box. Hello!
What would I need to do in order to change the colour of the links in the sidebar? The links are showing up as the default red, but I wanted them to match the links in the rest of my blog. Thanks!
]]>Quintus is great. Thanks for making it.
Just found a bit of weirdness on the 404 page. The “Tags” title appears even if I don’t use tags. But if I try to delete the line of code about that, the tilde (~) moves up the page.
Interestingly, you can see this in action on the Quintus live demo: https://quintusdemo.wordpress.com/404
]]>I can not personalize the Quintus theme home page and can not find it anywhere on this template can you please tell me where to access it or make it a normal page like all the others so I can update it and add pictures? Thank you.

]]>Hi,
I’ve found this problem:
Considering that your theme have only one widget area, and this area is the right column, and considering that the right column disappear when the site is in mobile version, you can notice that there is no way to show a language chooser in mobile version.
Considering that your theme is “translation ready”, this can be a problem.
I think you should change this behavior. Makes little sense to have a theme translation ready with no possibility to select a different translation.
]]>Hi,
I’m trying to change the background color in the header of your theme.
As default the title is white and there is a black box around it. Behind this I’ve set an image via interface.
If I change the text’s color in the interface the black box disappear. Is this normal ?

]]>Hello,
My site is chezsasha.com. I would like to have a static meta description for my blog to appear on search engines. Currently, the text beneath my site’s name on Google is pulling from one of the recent blog posts.
I use the Yoast SEO plugin and wrote in a meta desc. there but that didn’t work. Please help me out!
Many thanks in advance.

]]>Hello.
I write a food blog that is comprised of 3 main categories of posts: recipes, restaurants and how-tos. I want to create 3 separate pages in my header toolbar; each page would display only 1 of the 3 types of posts. I want to do this so readers who arrived for recipes can only browse recipes, and readers who are interested in restaurants could only browse those, and so forth.
I have tried some plugins that claim to perform this function but unfortunately, they create pages with lists of categorized posts that are poorly formatted/appear as excerpts and not complete posts. I’d like for the posts to appear in their entirety – not as icons or excerpts that link out to the complete posts.
I would really appreciate if someone could tell me if what I’m asking for is realistic and if there’s already a plugin for it. Many thanks in advance!

]]>We are having a problem with responsive design view of a WP site we are building with Quintus Theme.
The sidebar disappears at certain resolutions.
It is in a protected development space so we can’t share a link yet, sorry.
However we notice the same behaviour with these websites that are featured on the Quintus theme page.
https://theschleicherspin.com/
https://nothinginbiology.org/
https://waitingforthekarmatruck.com/
The issue comes up looking at the above sites with ‘responsive design view’ on various browsers.
We have not tested with mobile platforms.
When the screen width is 480 wide or 640 wide in Explorer 10/Windows 8, the side bar disappears completely.
At 320 wide the sidebar shoots underneath and presents below the main column as expected.
At 768 wide the two columns present side by side as expected.
At 480 wide and 640 wide we only get the main column, no sidebar anywhere.
We are seeing this on FireFox 20.0.1/Windows 8 at 480 wide as well.
And on a different machine, with Chrome/Windows XP
Any ideas?
