Following an advice in this forum I tried to use Polylang plugin for multilingual site that has Raft theme for visualisation. Unfortunately translating a page in another lanugage instantly breaks Site editor and it no longer loads – insted barely readable html code is displayed. Switching off Polylang plugin does not fix the issue. Switching to another theme restores Site editor functionality. I haven’t tried with different multilingual plugin.

Can you have a look or comment on this issue?

I’m using the Raft theme, and I’m experiencing an issue where multiple <title> tags are being generated on my pages and posts. When you inspect the site, you’ll see two <title> tags.

The problem is going away when I uninstall Rank Math or Yoast.

But I’ve been informed that this issue might be related to how the theme enqueues header elements. Can you provide guidance on how to resolve this?

Are there any settings or adjustments I can make within the Raft theme to ensure that only a single <title> tag is output?

Your RAFT theme is really great, thank you! I’d like to know if it is possible to add more text fonts to the theme. When editing the Front Page Header, it seems there are just a few available fonts.

The header should display at the top of page and over a a cover block with background.

This header would be different from headers on all other pages

My website has been having issues maintaining its layout. Raft is the only theme that I have found to be relatively consistent, but my website is still having issues. I may reset my website.

Is the Raft theme AMP compatible? I want to make sure before I rebuild my site.

hello yesterday i uploaded my own font to raft style section and it was worked well but today i saw font changed to default so i checked and saw it is set on my uploaded font but text are not changed . i deleted the font and uploaded again problem solved but after savings everything showing with default font again

I have a problem when configuring the archive pages. The archive title is not displayed automatically, which means I have to insert the same title for all archives manually. How can I set a different title for each category archive automatically?

hi i am new to raft theme and as i am beggining to write post i wonder which size is good for theme structor ?

Hamburger menu is not working for me in 6.5.5. Checking browser console I see it’s because these WordPress includes are being blocked by CORS policy.

Other file includes on the website are not having the same problem.
I have a feeling this is a problem with the CORS policy setting on the host env (GoDaddy), but I am interested if anyone has seen this before, or has a fix.

I originally created my navigation menu in the block editor because when creating a navigation menu in appearance…menu settings, the menu doesn’t appear. One day my site navigation menu just disappeared. To remedy the situation I placed a header wonderblock on my home page and all of a sudden the navigation menu appeared. Unfortunately the navigation header updated navigation and header don’t appear on any of the other site pages. Ironically the old navigation is now appearing on all other pages, but it isn’t formatting correctly. Any help resolving the issue would be greatly appreciated.

I am working in WP 6.5.3 using the latest Raft theme. I am working off of a child theme. When I create a group, with two columns of which I add two images. The images and the div are scrunched together. In the inspector, I see that one of the css classes is: wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained.

I would like to understand where this option is – assuming it is an option – or how I can get around it.

I went to settings -> reading and updated homepage to A STATIC PAGE but it doesn’t work. I see the title of the static page but the front page template still shows. How do I disable front page template?

I have searched for last hour and can’t find anything. I’m worried it just isn’t possible to have a static page. I need a static page for SEO and other functionality that template just doesn’t provide.

Just set up my website but the header is keep getting broken. Sometimes it looks fine, then for no reason it goes to some sort of mobile / broken version, see the screenshot. I tested on mac Safari, Chrome, and on my iPhone. On and off issue. Can’t find a solution.

I love the theme.

on the Pc version of the theme the menu items have an arrow to click and it reveals the sub menu items.

On the mobile version, none of the sub menu items are hidden.

Is there a way to hide the sub menu items on the mobile version so there is an arrow to click that reveals the sub menu items?

I am using Raft, and everything looks great but I can make the hamburger menu work on mobile. The menu is there, but when I click on it nothing happens.

I haven’t really customise that much, so I don’t believe this is a conflict with something else.

I can’t seem to make my latest post box sit centre on mobile view. There is always more margin on the outside right side.

Bonus question: If this only displays the latest X posts from a certain category, how do I link a ‘Read More’ to automatically show more?

I’m seeking help with inserting a “Features” block pattern. The raft features block pattern is “features-29”. I’m in the editor for this page and tried inserting this block patter using both the “toggle block inserter” in the upper left corner and the “add block” inserter that is in the lower right corner of the content. Each time that I complete the action of inserting the block, I receive a confirmation notification in the lower left corner that reads “block pattern ‘features-29’ inserted”. However, the block pattern is, in fact, not inserted. I tried this as well as saving it after the confirmation, to no avail. Please help!

I can no longer change the align/width option for groups and other layout blocks since the 1.1.2 update. I debugged – I disabled all plugins, no change. Switching to 2024 theme, align options came back.

This is a showstopper. I can’t use this theme for developing this site anymore.

The color is not reflected because the custom color registered in the style is called with a different name than the name that actually exists in the variable.

For example, there is a color registered as “Accent100”.
This is set as the link color in the style’s color settings.
Then you can see that the color is called with the variable name “–wp–preset–color–custom-Accent100”, but it is correctly registered with the variable name “–wp-preset–color–custom-Accent-100”.

It is a slight difference, but it appears that a hyphen is missing somewhere.
Is there any way to correct this?
Or are there any plans to correct this?

I’ve made all my style modifications within the Front Page template’s global styles, but they don’t seem to apply throughout the site, or at least not all of them do.

In particular, buttons throughout the site seem to implement the wordpress default with a charcoal grey background, different font, different padding, and different border radius. This applies both to header/footer elements as well as in-page buttons.

It’s worth noting that in the editor for any page, everything looks fine. It is only on the published pages and page previews where things aren’t displaying correctly.

After much inspection using dev tools, I found that in the editor, class .editor-styles-wrapper is wrapping the entire page and setting the --wp--preset--font-size--normal to 16px and the --wp--preset--font-size--huge to 42px. (And by the way this looks nice.)

Raft by default has the default font size set to normal (18px) and h1 to huge (56px).

This causes the site to look very different when looking at the preview or published page, and this is right out of box.

Side note: I was surprised that there doesn’t seem to be a way to directly alter the definition of normal or huge at a high level. Looks like I can only set text to 16px and h1 to 42px as custom sizes. Is this true?

I see that I can change the overall background color by choosing a different overall style in the FSE e.g. Default vs. washed. But let’s say I want the deafult theme for fonts and general colors, but I want to alter the background applied to the body tag --wp--preset--color--raft-bg – where do I do that?

I’m using the Raft theme for the first time and can’t figure out how to add SEO meta data such as the site description to the front page. I am using the Yoast SEO plug-in.

The home page is missing under “Pages” and in the Site Editor I don’t find any fields to add SEO data.

I guess the front page would need to be copied from the Site Editor to the Pages section in order to add SEO data and see the metrics of the SEO plug-in? But in the Pages section I can’t select the front page template.

Could you please advise how to do that? Thank you!

looking for some help with my website – the Theme is great, super happy with it and thanks a lot for the work! The only issue I have is on mobile with variants selection.

While the name of the variant is moved to the next row, there is plenty of space on the right to it with the name of the variant. Is there any way to make this adjust itself to the length of the content?
