Hey, recently updated the Receptar theme and now I can’t upload any new images to my site. I get this error: “The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2,560 pixels.”
– Tried resizing images and compressing them. The only size I can upload is thumbnail size under 100px and under 40KB.
– Have exported to different file types – jpg, png, etc.
– Disabled every plugin to see if it helped and it didn’t.
– Have updated MySQL to version 8.
– Updated PHP to v8.1.
Not sure what else to try?

I saw there is an update to the Recptar theme. Where can I find a change log for v2.0 before updating? Thanks!

I forgot how and where to adjust the color of the (background) of the ( search) bar above the banner. It tis blurry now I like to make it transparent again. I know it can be adjusted since I did that before/on other websites with same theme.

Can you please tell me where to adjust it?

As per the latest template of Receptar theme it shows 2 column layout. I want to change it to 4 column. Please advice how to change it.

since i use this theme as food blogging, i couldn’t able to visit homepage via site title or logo appears top left on the header section.
yet the site title view in the side menu was hyperlink of homepage.

but now today i’m noticing that too isn’t working. so right now i couldn’t able to move homepage from any other page.

Is it possible to move the title (<h1 class=”entry-title”…) on the slider BELOW the slider itself, but only for narrow screens (smartphone)?
In this case, I would like to stretch this title to the entire width of the screen.

Is it possible to force show a certain icon even if it doesn’t link to that website?

For example our Instagram links to a page on our own site but the template does not show an Instagram icon, but rather a regular link icon.

Is it possible to force the right icon?

I already enabled extra CSS option and wrote Instagram in “CSS Class”

I cannot figure out why my posts are appearing large but the theme shows everything spread into 2 column shrinking the size of the post keeping it neat and organised. Mine appear large and one under the other. It looks sloppy. I tried resizing all my post featured images to what was suggested. please help!!!

I’d love to center the header image. On bigger screens the header sticks to the left of the page.

Somehow my Post-Thumbnails are blurry?

Is there a possibility to work on the footer?

I have avatars turned off for comments (settings >> discussion >> show avatars is unchecked), but for some reason, they are still showing up on this page: https://chefbobaungst.com/chef-bobs-sunday-supper/, and in the middle of the comment. They do not show up on blog posts, or on this older page with an older comment: https://chefbobaungst.com/events-by-chef-bob/.

What CSS can I put in to either hide the avatars, or move them up next to the author’s name?

First of all, great theme!

Secondly, have a problem. In my current parent theme, I uploaded a custom php file in the “inc” folder. I also added a “img” folder in the “inc” folder. All worked fine.

Then, with the child theme configurator, I created a child theme. Activated it and all fine.
Then I created an “inc” folder to put the custom php file and the “img” folder. Then I added the code in the child functions.php to include the custom php file in the “inc” file.

I save and when I run website, crashes. Any thoughts?

I want to add another language to my website and I use the Polylang plugin. Everything seems to work except of the language icon in the social menu. It only shows a generic icon. Can you help?

I’ve a question,
I have a tag page that has posts within it, when I go to the first post, the navigation arrows to the next post send me to another tag, it sends me to the newer post. But I want to limit it to this specific tag.
So when I go to a post in this tag, I can only navigate within it and can’t navigate to newer posts from other tags or categories.
How can I do this?

By defaul the header image is displayed on right side of all pages cropped from both sides to fit the page and hence it shows only middle portion of header image on pages.

My tcategory and tag pages do not show header image, instead they show a grey bar with site title and header widgets.
Any leads on how do i get the image there?
Also the new header image i added is of recommended dimensions 1920×640 buit this image appears small on mobile.
Why is that?

But my Menu on the left is gone.

For all i know i made an new menu instead of the search widget. en as they said the search wichet was gone, bus so did my menu on the left.

The featured image of post appears half on homepage when viewed from mobile.
I tried the fix in previour related query :

I am using receptar and this theme is awesome!
But there is one issue i am getting after moving to this theme
My website sometimes gets unresponsive, takes too much time to load and then gives a “resource out of limit” error on homepage.

The network calls going at that time were :
