Gorgeous beautiful theme, everything is intuitive and works great. There was a small problem installing the child theme, Oliver’s immediate answer and the issue is resolved.
Thanks a lot to the creators of the theme! I highly recommend the receptar to anyone who chooses a theme for their website!

If you want to use this Theme out of the Box, I’d give it a 4 star rating.
Very nice, some things in timing and so on I wanted to tweak.
So I made a childtheme… This did not work, obviously get_template_directory and get_stylesheet_directory mixed up on a few places.
Count it as 3.5 ???

One of a kind split-screen, cookbook style theme around, working great from start and with that kind of support we all love: quick, straight-to-the-point solutions!
And on top of that – it’s free!!
Well deserved 5 stars from me & thanks!

Out of the box (so to speak), it is a beautiful theme, especially for food blogs.
Be sure that you have chosen a “featured image” for each of your blog post. If you do not, instead of it showing up properly within the blog’s pages, it will show up as a small red title link, while others show photos and some of the intro wording of the post. I had to go through over 1,500 blog posts to add images where there none.
If you wish to wish remove the credit link in the footer, change the word “false” to “true” in the footer file. Then upload a footer plugin. I used “Header & Footer Code” plugin. It’s easy and places my copyright (or whatever you desire, including html) at the end of each post.
I can’t believe that the designers of this awesome theme provides a user’s manual! It’s awesome for beginners: https://www.webmandesign.eu/manual/receptar/.
This theme has the best layout for a blog. While everyone scrolls through your pages, the pages are numbered. You know, at the bottom of the page where most themes have “next” or “previous”? Instead it has 1 2 3…159 (on mine), because I have 159 pages.

This is just a really, really special theme. It is one that is as breathtakingly unique as it is flawlessly executed. Great job, brilliant combination of art and function.
