Most sections of the theme are missing, it shows me they are enabled and not hidden and they were in the preview of the theme but they’re not showing. I’m talking about all the section except the footer and the header image that are missing (our team, testimonials, our focus etc.)
Please help

Apologies in advance. This is probably something really easy to sort (hopefully)… on the homepage you will see the menu area is transparent on the homepage but not on every other page. I would like to get rid of the transparency so it matches the other pages but I am scratching my head a bit with what I need to edit. Please help!

Only home page logo is showing as what I uploaded.

The background image works on Desktops, but just recently it doesn’t show on mobile devices.

I have tried replacing the photo with a different one but still the same issue. Please help.

How do I set the post page to another than the front page (“latest news”)?
If I change the general WordPress reading settings I only have the possibility to change the static front page and select the post page. But how do I leave the responsive boat main page on my front page with this selection (where I can select only among pages)?

When I created my web site, main menu was showed in every page, but now it’s not visible and I don’t know why.
It’s regularly positioned on the top bar, but doesn’t appear in every page.

I set up the our focus widgets to display our “members” under the Our Team section of the front page because I need them to be clickable with a link to a bio page. It set up with no issue but now is displaying incorrectly.

When editing on the customize page the Our Focus widget tiles display correctly in a 4 column grid. But when I view the site normally the widget tiles appear in one tall single column aligned left with white space to the right.

Is this a CSS issue?

Is there a way to set a focus point on the background image? In the past I have been able to go in and add background-position: x% y%; and then mess with the x and y values so when you shrink or resize the window your focus is always in the center. (this also helps with some layout issues people have on mobile)

I see that there is a section with some arrows and a center dot when you are choosing options after you select a background in the customization area, but those do not seem to change anything.

I installed this theme, as an initial page i set it up the latest articles, because there are very useful widgets.

The problem is, the site now appears in google searches but as a meta description is the menu, how to modify the meta description if the page does not “exist”?

Plus i can not even set the keywords of the site.

In the footer there is a dark grey box that says “Zerif-Lite powered by WordPress”

Is there a way to move, edit the box color, or remove the powered by box?

PC version looks fine. But the background image seems too big on my phone.

I recently try to use ResponsiveBoat Theme 1.1.4 version and try to change the ‘Big Title” ,

but it doesn’t work at all.

So, I carefully review all source code and found one simple trick solution.

I wonder whether this change has no problem or not, but so far it’s ok anyway.

before change your theme source code be sure to back-up your all data in wordpress.

1. Go to Themer editor -> open “big_title.php” file, below the /* Big title */ section

2. find $zerif_bigtitle_title = get_theme_mod( ‘zerif_bigtitle_title’, ~ paragraph \.

3. change ‘zerif_bigtitle_title’ to ‘zerif_bigtitle_title_2’

4. there will be two ‘zerif_bigtitle_title’, change both.

5. and I finally got the text which I want in Big Title Section.

My header image suddenly stopped working correctly and its height is only about 1/10 what it should be. This smashes the header and second section together making it very hard to read.

I am using Responsive Boat on 2 different websites and suddenly the same error occurred on both, so I think there was some update that broke everything?

The text in the about you section is aligned left instead of center. The Heading and sub-heading is centered. This problem seems to be connected to 2 other problems I am facing:

1) In the red ribbon section the button is supposed to be centered and below the heading but it is not. The button is right next to the heading

2) My footer area is mixed up. The section where my email adress is displayed is next to the section with the social icons and copyright is displayed.

So the footer, red ribbon and about you section are all aligned right instead of centered.

After you log off from the administrator account disappear as icons in the footer (address, e-mail, phone).

All the buttons from the theme are missing when I log out of admin mode. THey all show up in admin mode but all disappear when logged out of admin mode. Any help out there?

I add a logo in Site Identity and nothing shows up. Any ideas?

Hi, i’m trying to change the Title of the Responsive Boat theme but the change won’t populate. When I try to modify the text, it resets to the default:”One of the most popular themes on www.ads-software.com” Somebody else posted this a while back and another user said they had modified php files but no one listed what files specifically.

Its a superb theme but not sure how to fix it, and might just have to move on. Ideas?

I installed ResponsiveBoat and I’m trying to customize it through their menus and options.

But in my case, it works just partially.

I changed Main Content fields and header logo, but when saved, only shows changes for “Green button” and header logo. Not for title nor Red button label. (Into the preview the changes are applied, but not to the rest of the site when you save).

The same on Identity section. I updated logo, but when saved, always shows the title, not the logo.

It seems that the new values are saved just partially, but if I re-enter into the customiser, I can see the previous changes, but they are not applied !.

Why this strange behavior?

I want to prevent the top image from scrolling down. It creates a shadowy effect of the image further down. Setting it to “fixed” in the options doesn’t do a whole lot to prevent this, so I’m thinking I need to delve into the code somewhere. But where? ??

Where is the placement of this image, and its subsequent shadowing down as you scroll, defined?
