Hallo, i hope to get an answer here. Is it possible to put 3 more feature Columns on the Startside? Thank you very much
In Word Press Road Fighter Theme the following appear as images and not text, defeating the purpose of Google search of key words and descriptions
? the home page main heading
? home page sub heading
? home page testimonial heading
? home page blogging text
? widget title(s)
? all the page titles
? h2 and h3 headings on subsequent pages.
How can this be remedied?
I am using the default “Home Page” created via the Customize tab. This Home Page is not listed as a “page” under the “Appearance/Customize” tab.
In Settings, I want to add a blog using a new page “News”. Under “Settings/Reading”
I am afraid that if I choose to activate this page that my homepage displays “Your latest posts” and my existing “Customized” page will go away.
Can anyone shed some light on what will happen if I make this change?
Thanks,
Tom
I have set the coolor to “coffee” (and then tried several othes as well.) But the colors do not change. If I update text in the Footer, it shows immediately, what’s up with the colors? What else do I need to do to have them show up? (It’s been long enough that I don’t thik it is a cache issue…)
On the Church of Zero website, I have an animated GIF on the front page. It is a 7MB image, way bigger than I want. The original was an MP4 just over 2MB. I have Space2.mp4 and Space2.webm uploaded, but cannot get the video to display.
I am using the “Video Background” plugin to support this, but can’t find the right place to slot it in. Here is the way it currently is set up in Styling->Custom CSS:
{[vidbg container="header_container home.flexslider .slides img" mp4="https://www.churchofzero.com/wp-content/uploads/Space2.mp4" webm="https://www.churchofzero.com/wp-content/uploads/Space2.webm" poster="#" loop="true" overlay="false" overlay_color="#000" overlay_alpha="0.3" muted="true"]}
I assume my container is incorrect, have tried several options.
Thanks for any help.
I have an animated GIF as my front page image at Church of Zero. The file that displays MUST be named Space2.gif, then it shows up. But when I select a different image via Background image, it will not update (BG Image shows the new gif, the screen does not, and insists on displaying “Space2.gif” – the filename is somehow locked into the first flexslider slot and i don’t know how to get rid of it. I can rename another file to Space2.gif, and it shows up. But I can’t remove the filename and use Space5.gif, or add the video plugin to display space2.mpg (which is 1/3 the size.)
iv class="header_container home ">

Any ideas appreciated, thanks.
hi,

Hello, I have a problem with the pages sidebar. I have created three different pages on the menu: company history, services and blog. For the the first two I have selected No Parent and Default Template while I have selected Blog Page for the Blog Page. Well all pages keep showing the blog page template with a sidebar containing categories, calendar, latest posts and so on.
I have tried to modify the widget in the Primary Widget Area, but I keep having the same problem. So how can I change the sidebar on only the blog page?
Thanks a lot for your support!
I have a sidebar show up on my pages that I don’t love (ROAD FIGHTER theme). Please see here, to the right: https://brotherichards.com/publications/
Is there an easy way to delete/remove that side menu to the right of the screen? Note that it only shows up on my sub-pages and not on my main homepage.
Thanks for any help!
Eric
I would like to either remove the Featured Areas OR change the “Read More” hyperlink… Can you help me do those two things?
How can I remove the ROADFIGHTER text from my site (www.brotherichards.com)?
Hello,
I am having no success changing the header background image on the internal pages of the Road Fighter theme (free version). I’m using the Custom CSS feature in my GoDaddy managed WordPress. I want to change it from the current dark gray gradient to just. plain. white.
My site is https://wpw3beta.info
When I use Inspect Element, it looks like one or both of these CSS statements are controlling that element:
.header_container.not_home{
background:#2f2f2f url(images/header-bg.png) repeat-y;
min-height:250px;
border-bottom:1px solid #686869;
}
.page_index_container{
background:#2f2f2f url(images/header-bg.png) repeat-y;
min-height:195px;
border-bottom:1px solid #686869;
}
In addition to going out on the server and changing the header-bg.png image from the gray gradient to a plain white bar (I know, not the best solution, but I’m really frustrated), I put the following into the Custom CSS:
.header_container.not_home{
background:#fff url(images/header-bg.png) repeat-y;
}
.page_index_container{
background:#fff url(images/header-bg.png) repeat-y;
}
And yet, in all browsers, the gray gradient is still displaying. How is that possible?
Hi, I am using the Custom CSS feature in my GoDaddy managed Road Fighter theme (the free version).
I made some simple changes to the font family, the color of the top border, the logo’s max height and width, and the font color of the menu items. Despite not having touched the background color of the menu bar or the shadow that appears below the header image, these things have mysteriously disappeared. (Menu bar b/ground has become transparent.)
Can anyone see anything amiss with the CSS?
(For the menu)
.menu_bar {
border:1px solid #d9d9d9;
background:#fff;
display:block;
padding-bottom:20px;
padding-top:5px;
padding-left:20px;
margin-top:15px;
}
#menu {
position:relative;
}
#menu ul {
list-style-type:none;
}
#menu .ddsmoothmenu {
list-style:none;
position:relative;
z-index:10;
font-family: libre-baskerville;
margin-top: 13px;
margin-bottom: 10px;
margin-left: 7px;
}
#menu .ddsmoothmenu li > ul li > ul {
margin-top:1px;
}
#menu .ddsmoothmenu li {
position:relative;
display:inline;
font-size:18px;
margin-left:0;
margin-bottom:0;
margin-right:0px;
}
#menu .ddsmoothmenu li a {
color:#444;
text-decoration:none;
padding: 14.5px 16px 17px 18px;
}
(For the drop shadow below header image, which I didn’t touch)
.slider-wrapper {
font-weight:normal;
padding-bottom:38px;
margin-top:0px;
background:url(images/slider-shadow.png) bottom center no-repeat;
margin-bottom:30px;
}
Thank you!
Hello,
Well everything is in the topic title..
I’ve tried everything but nothing appears!
Please help me out..
Hi, I installed your theme and it’s nice, but how do I make it look like your demo photo? Right now it shows a black header behind the menu and I want it to show the slider behind the menu. What code do I use? Thanks
Hi,
I am using Road Fighter theme for bussiness and i want to include slideshow on header like this https://www.inkthemes.com/previews/?demo_id=35
how can i add slideshow & which plugin is best.
Thanks,

Hi, when i tried to set up a child theme for Road Fighter, I’m becoming some troubles with CSS.
Is Road Fighter working fine with child themes?
Thanks,
Regards.
Our homepage uses this theme beautifully with the slider. When we go into our other pages, in place of the slideshow is just a grey boring banner, with our logo in the middle-left area. How can I edit this banner for the child pages? Thank you!
When I create my own menu, the theme doesn’t display the SUBPAGES. The rest is working perfectly. Could anyone help me with that, please?
when i try to change the homepage to another static page by going to settings/reading/static homepage and selecting for example services the roadfighter theme removes the content that i created on the services page and replaces it with the default roadfighter homepage features? i would like to change the page entirely to one of my pages.
can someone please advise?
On line 75 of function.php
//Enqueue comment thread js
function roadfighter_enqueue_scripts() {
if (is_singular() and get_site_option('thread_comments')) {
wp_enqueue_scripts('comment-reply');
}
}
add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts', 'roadfighter_enqueue_scripts');
The correct function name is ‘wp_enqueue_script()’, without the final ‘s’.
In the current implementation, wp_enqueue_scripts() calls the hook itself, leading to a loop which ends with a 500 error.
Hi, first I want to thank you for sharing your work, as it’s a really nice theme.
I’ve a problem with the theme options, at first General Options is visualized correctly but once you select any other tap, the options hide and I can’t view any of them. So I can’t change options under Homepage top feature, area, styling, etc.
I’ve tried it with different browsers with no luck. I’ve to mention that theme is installed under a brand new installation of wordpress for testing with no plugins or customizations made.
Hope you could help, kind regards, Quintus.
