Hi, How can I remove the meta icons (date and author) in the home page?

I must say that Sampression Lite is an excellent theme. So, I was wondering if there’s any way to edit the image size on home page? I would like to increase it’s height.

Today I updated the theme to new version, Now the website is more scrambled and the menu and the content area become squized. and the font size very small.

Can you please let me know how we can sort out this problem.

Seems like something super weird is happening with the columns on the updated version in Chrome. In Safari the column size looks ok but there is no background colour.

I just noticed that our posts are not displaying correctly. If you navigate to any individual post, the post title, and metedata, will default to the very first post title; in our case, ‘Welcome to “EduTips”. The only post not affected is the most recent one, which displays its own information. Not sure how long this has been happening, but we think it just started in the last few weeks.

Hi, I just updated to the latest theme version, and now my header text and tagline has disappeared. In the customize page it says it is there, but it’s just not coming up.

I’m using Sampression for my wedding registry (more of a wishlist and idea list). I don’t want to limit the amount of posts that show on the “latest posts” page. How can I make it pull every single post so you can keep scrolling instead of hunting for the tiny “Show Older Posts” button?

I saw that the pro version is for a year. What happens after the first year? It would be too costly to pay per year.

I am using the Sampression-lite theme for my internal page. It is very interested for me.

Need some help regarding Order by Categories on header: My categories are: A, B, C & D. How can I sort them by D, C, B, A (by name or slug categories)? Or random?

I’d really appreciate if someone can help me find out what code changes need to be done to accomplish this.

i got two questions
1. is it possible to be able to choose more than one category
2. if more than one category is selected can i display posts that belong to those two categories only

eg.
post 1 belongs to category green
post 2 belongs to category grass
post 3 belongs to both green and grass
if i select cat green i want to display post 1
if i select cat grass i want to display post 2
if i select both green and grass i want to display post 3 ONLY

How can I remove the Category/Archive Column on left (say, after we click on category/tag)?
And
Can I add a Second menu bar as well ( I’ve removed the filter on home page)? Menu can be same as the top nav bar, only horizonatal,blocks in place of filter.

Really like this theme! However, the 700 x 491 feature image on single posts is just too big. How would I change it to display, say, a 432×300 centered image instead? Thanks very much for the help.

Hi,

Is there away for a post to have pages and then list those pages on the left side. So for example if the post is about an assembly guide, each step would have a list on the left so you can choose a step or skip to the step you want.

Does that make sense?

When you load the page “show all” is selected
so every article are showed…

Is there a way to not have “show all” selected by default
but another categorie ? (id=20 for example)

I’ve installed this Theme, and it’s wonderful. Made a few changes, and they were all easy to accomplish.

There’s only have one remaining issue… I’d like to add a ‘Meta Description’ Tag, so that when people find my site with a search engine, they get a description below the Site Name. I don’t want to put this description in the ‘TagLine’ because I’m using that for something else. I actually want to add a:

<meta name=”description” content=”blah blah blah” />

So I believe this needs to be adjusted in the ‘Header.PHP’ file, and maybe it needs to replace these lines?

do_action( ‘sampression_meta’ );

But I’m unsure how to do this.
Can anyone help?

Hi – my filter on the front page doesn’t seem to be working correctly. Eg. if you tick the ‘Kuopio, Finland’ category to the right, nothing comes up, though there are many posts in this category. I am using the newest version of both wordpress and the theme.

I am using “Sampression Lite” for a few days now and I realy love it but there’s one thing I need help with.

Is there any possibility to use/show html in the excerpt? Since I am still building my blog, I posted some old entries (to look how everything looks and all) and the text in the excerpts doesn’t have any formatting. Is there a way to change this?

Recently I updated my Sampression Lite theme to 1.5.1 (yup, only recently ?? ), and after that the filter on the front page started behaving strangely. It showed all the posts by default, but when I clicked on any other option (category), it did not show anything at all.

My first idea was that I messed up something in my child theme, so I switched to parent Sampression Lite, but the problem stayed there as well. On further investigation I found out that some of the posts get shown. It seems like the filter works only for first page – e.g. filters only the first page, but ignores older posts.

Any help regarding this problem as well as any ideas where to search for answers is highly appreciated. I really love using Sampression Lite, and I would like to resolve this issue ??

The Sampression Lite Theme is pretty good and I liked it. However, I am quite demotivated after facing the following issues:

1) The sidebar/footer widgets are overlapping with the posts on the home page. Quite often the widgets are showing up below the posts. After refreshing the page a few times, the issue goes away temporarily.

2) In the category pages, the posts are overlapping with each other.

I have tested these issues with different laptops, different kinds of browsers (firefox, chrome, safari, etc) and operating systems (OSX, Win 7, 8, 8.1); however, the issues seem to be consistent.

Are these possible bugs of the theme and are there any known fixes for these issues?

Need some help regarding this: My posts are in three main categories: A, B, & C. The categories are completely unrelated to each other. So, I do NOT want the “Show All” filter on Home Screen where it shows posts from all categories together. Instead, I want the default filter to be on Category A only when page opens first. So, I just want posts to show from either Category A, B or C but not all together as in “Show All”. What I want is the “FILTER BY” on home screen to only show Category A, B and C with default selection on Category A.

I’d really appreciate if someone can help me find out what code changes need to be done to accomplish this.

Hello, i am trying to translate this theme to another language, i searched online on how i could do this and i ended up using Poedit for Mac OsX and since the theme didn’t have any .mo and .po files i followed a tut online and ended up creating my own .po, i translated some text just to test it and saved the files in a languages folder inside the theme folder, then the tutorial said to copy those files and place them in the wp-content languages folder and to edit the wp-config.php file and add the .po file name there which i did, but it didn’t work, it didn’t translate anything. I have zero knowledge in this type of stuff so my question is, can i translate this theme? If so, how? Or what am i missing from what i already did.

I am new to WP. I’d really appreciate if you help me with this. How do I copy the home page (default page) theme or style to other pages. I want to categorize my posts under different pages based on the categories I define for each post. However, I want to keep the style of the Sampression Lite default home page theme for all the new pages I create (meaning the posts should appear with the same mason style layout). Can anyone please help me with this?
