Hi! I am trying to do a few things in the Semper Fi Lite theme but having no luck and hope someone can assist.

I would like to replace the current site title and tagline with an image.

I also would like to be able to edit ALL the fonts on the page, posts, and touch menu.

I have purchased the upgrade plugin and installed it but I don’t see any new features?

We are trying to go live with our site in a few days and I need to get these tasks done! Thanks!

Hey there, this theme is wicked so my client decided to use it. The thing is, he is running a video blog. In the blog listing there is nothing but the titles and a bunch of empty space between blog posts. I really don’t want to switch themes but this won’t do for him. Is there any way to any of the following:
1) Display a picture in the blog listing (but NOT put it in the post itself.
2) Actually have the youtube player be displayed in the listing.

I am inserting a “Read more” tag in my posts via the WordPress interface, but the links are not showing up on the index page. Articles simply get cut off when they exceed the specified div height.

Is this a known issue, and if so, can you please address it?

I love the theme, but I’m having an issue on mobile browsers (both Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone) with the front page display. The titles of the top two entries are being overlaid by the header banner and menu. I tried adjusting the spacing between the header and body but that didn’t seem to change the spacing on Android at all.

Is it possible with this theme to change the number of posts that are visible on the homepage? Right now it looks like you could have 13, but instead it stops at 10 (which leaves one floating blog on the fourth row and requires you to go to previous posts to see the rest). Can I change it to view all (currently 12) posts on the homepage and more if needed? I would like all posts to be on the homepage even if there is a lot of scrolling.

First, Great Congratulations for this theme!!

My problem is :
I would add a custom template in order to use it for the home page.
Usually, I copy “page.php” and I customize this copy. But in “Semper-Fi-Lite” theme, there is not this file “page.php” ??
Have you got a solution ?
I would show, in my home page, only the posts whose the category = X (X is a number).

First off, thank you for your themes! Such great customizability. Glad i stumbled upon them.

i was looking to use Semper Fi Lite for a collaborative blog, but notice authors are not displayed anywhere. Do you have any plans to include this? Not sure how it would fit into the design. Otherwise, i may look to extend with a child theme. Thanks!

Just installed the recent v1.9 and I noticed that now that you now have to choose between displaying the title of the posts or the month date for the post previews.

I really preferred having both displaying. I thought it looked really nice together. In fact, I was going to request to see if was possible to have the year display as well. Our blog has posts going back several years and having the date is important for our readers to know when we speak of “this weekend” or “last week” what dates we’re referring to.

For now I’m going to revert back to the previous version. I’m really hoping you can bring back the option of having the post title and date display together again.

Hello! I am trying to insert a custom banner image as you did in your video – but I don’t get a choice anywhere to do so. The only choices I get are Menu Display Options, 4 different colors and the spacing between top and content. Is the custom banner not part of the lite version, even though it says so in the list?

Also, if I make my own banner – will it keep your specified transparency, which makes it so awesome?

I really like the theme, it is really something fresh among the themes available at www.ads-software.com. But I would like to have featured images that are longer in px and being box-resized. I had a look in the functions.php and tried to do a little changes as described in the link: https://www.studiograsshopper.ch/web-development/wordpress-featured-images-add_image_size-resizing-and-cropping-demo/

Changed the following:

			add_image_size( 'page-thumbnail', 600, 355, true );

to

		add_theme_support('post-thumbnails');

But the featured images are still shown in the same area. Is there something in the theme specific code that limits the area available for featured images. If I have to change something else to get the same amount of text under the featured image after doing changes to allow a bigger area for featured images then that would be good to be pointed out as well.

I am not really sure how accomplish that i.e. a 300×250, 300×300, 350×300 or 400×400 image selected as featured images are shown as they are when selected as featured images. I am hoping for some help.
