I’m having trouble getting edits to a page on my website to update and then show on my website – I can update other pages, but not this one.
The edits appear in the Dashboard editor as having been applied (as in, I update and exit, then go back in and the edits are there), but they refuse to show on the website.
I am trying to do three things:
1. Update an image that should then scroll between it and another image. It now only shows as the unchanged image as a single static image.
2. Trying to add text to the page (but it isn’t showing).
3. In the second set of scrolling images one of the images is showing blank thanks to a broken link. I have updated the link but the image is still showing blank.
I’d appreciate any advice on how to get my edits to work! Thank you =)

]]>Hello! I hope that you could help me with the issue I am having since last night. Since I’ve placed the Google Adsense code into the header.php my banner acts strange. When I place the code in the widged it shows code on the front page without showing the picture with text. Is there anything I could do about it? ]]>(1) My banner disappeared from my website home page sometime in the last week. I reloaded the banner (the kangaroo image) and it no longer fits the screen. The image is massive (out of proportion to the rest of the page) and has a grey line across the top (as in not filling height).
By turning off “Jetpack/settings/media/speed up images and photos” I can make the image smaller, but then there is grey space to the right and top of the image so the proportion is still out (at the moment this setting is turned back on).
My image is the recommended size (2560 x 625, jpg format).
(2) When visitors to my blog leave a comment I don’t receive an email notifying me there has been a comment left. I know I can check but I don’t want to have to visit my page everyday on the off-chance a comment has been left.

since the update to wp 4.8.1 and senses lite 1.0.11 the header image is not displayed in full height, but is cut off roughly in the middle (i.e. approx. 60 pixels from the top). I have this problem with several websites and am unable to figure out what causes it.

]]>I am having problems with all of my photos displaying. About 70% of the time none of them are displaying on my website. This is on all browsers. I had this problem before, followed your advice and they showed back up for awhile. I made sure that I still had jetpack Photon module disabled and I do. Also with firefox my blog has a huge empty space and I have to scroll halfway down before the contents of it are displayed. With chrome this doesn’t happen, but the broken/error messages are displayed for the photos. Your help is appreciated.

I installed Senses Lite and it’s beautiful, but I am bummed that it won’t show the full post on the home page. Is there a way to do that with a child theme? I saw your response to someone else a few months ago on the forum asking the same thing for another theme and that was your response.
If a child theme will work, what code would I need to add to it for the whole post to display?
Hi, in the French version of my pages, my return line breaks rarely take, and often don’t. They sometimes ‘take’ for a while, but when I revisit the page a few hours/days later, they’ve been swallowed yet again. I contacted the multilanguage widget vendor who says it’s not their multilanguage widget causing this. Why does this happen? It coincides from the time when I upgraded to 4.2.7. Thanks if you can elucidate. I’ve changed nothing in the settings (that I know of!). It worked perfectly OK before.

If I hover on the POETRY menu, and then click on Poetry Iceland subheading (rather than going to the right to pick each separate poem in the Iceland drop down) it takes me to ‘Nothing Found.’ I’d like it to take me to a list of all poems on Iceland. I have the same problem for the Alaska poems. However, it works OK for the ‘Other Poems’ heading…not for the ‘other poems’ subheading.
When I do a search, in the search box, for ‘poems Iceland’ why does it take me to my ‘about’ page?
How can I fix this?
]]>Hi, my site is bilingual. From the home page, clicking on the flags work; however, once when you’re reading the article in English and click on the French flag to read the French version, goes to 404 page not found.
The flag icon at the bottom of the page seems out os sinc, you can only see the English flag. How to I get back the French flag as well?
