I tried to put random order for my slides on the front page. I added ‘orderby’ => ‘rand’ in page-home.php. It supposed to change a different order whenever I reload the page. It works only when I logged in as an admin. If I’m not logged in, it will not work. Any idea? Thanks.

After upgrading the Sensible Pro theme I found that there are some changes in terms of ids and classes in the slide section right at the beginning. I tried to restore what I used to have such as using the slides as the background image. Nonetheless, it is still not quite the same. We can see the overflow from the slide image while it’s zooming in and out. It used to be set in a frame that no matter how big or small images are, you won’t see the bleeding. Any ideas?

Working on blog featured images to display more of the image and less zoom.

I added this code and like the effect

I’m retrofitting so images are already uploaded based on the previous theme which had massive images.

Is there a dimension/focal point that works really well with the blog featured images when sticking with the “cover” background-size?

I just wanted a simple, beautiful out-of-the-box setup and this is great!

I’ve just gotten an email from Google mentioning that there is an issue with code on two of my pages – both the home page and the Contact Me page. Both involve unparsable structured data, specifically an incorrect data type “@context” that shows up in the metadata for both pages. Let me know how I can remove this. Thanks.

First I’d like to appreciate you guys for the nice theme. I live everything about it except one issue.

The unordered lists in the widget section doesn’t have any contrast. I’m referring to the popular posts, categories, recent posts and archives widgets. They all look like a single paragraph instead of a list.

You might consider adding bullets to each item on the list or any other element to make readers easily differentiate the beginning and end of each item on the list.

Note: I created a www.ads-software.com account simply for this question. This is the reason why I haven’t bought your premium theme.

Lastly, I tried my best to edit the CSS but seems why knowledge is too poor for such. I might need to change my theme if I don’t find a solution. Thanks.

No matter what I do in the Home Hero Section, nothing changes.

I have followed your tutorial on YouTube, but whether I change the image, heading, button text or button URL, the home page remains unchanged.

I have no clue what to do to get it working.

Hi guys, I am thinking of purchasing the pro version, however one thing is holding me back and that is a problem with the PayPal Here for woocommerce plugin in which a blank page is all that appears when the page loads.

I have tried other themes and it works fine with them however as I said it doesn’t work with Sensible WP, I have also tried de-activating all other plugins however I am still not able to get anything other than a blank page??

Hello, I am creating a one page website. I would like have a navigation bar at the top of the page. “About us, Team and Contact”.

When you click on About us, I would like the page to scroll down to About us on the first page.

How can I do this? I am not sure how to do this on the Customize section. Please help

I am redoing my website and downloaded this theme from interserver.
I love the theme however am having a difficult time with the hero home image and the individual feature images on each page for the header.
Could someone let me know what the recommended image sizes are for this theme.

Hello, I have a problem with the homepage image.
It doesn’t scale if I reduce the window or with the mobile view!

I tried to add this in the CSS:

#hero-header {
  background-size: contain !important;
  background-position: center top !important;
  background-attachment: scroll !important;
}

But this scales only the image, but not the container, leaving a white border below (expecially on mobile).

Can you help me?

My friend is using sensible wp with a few www from quite a long time but he is not a pro with html/css (me neither of course). Some time ago I taked a note that main footer is not sticky and it looks bad on different monitors, especially whent there is small amount of text or you don’t use any other footers (social secions or top secion) on hero page. Is there any easy way to fix this?

I have actually had this problem with the Sensible theme and also Flash by ThemeGrill. I have tried searching forums and can’t seem to find anything about it.

When you click on the link to my website from Facebook ON A PHONE, the logo doesn’t show up. With Sensible, it shows just the site title/name instead. This doesn’t happen if you visit the site in your web browser on a phone, or if clicking through from Facebook on a computer. But since I know many people only use their phones, and I expect traffic to come from Facebook, I want it to display correctly.

I would like to have the Services icons and the Team Members pictures clickable. Any time I show my website to someone on a mobile phone, their first intuitive response is to click the icons as they look like clickable buttons. Only when it’s not clickable do they scroll down to find the button that takes them to that section. Once again they are greeted with the icons which again cannot be clicked. I manually added buttons below which take them into each sub section, but it would be nicer and more intuitive to let the user click the icon instead.

Is there any way to set this up? Another user posted this a year ago, but there are no responses.

If you scroll down to the “Read More” button, click it, you are taken to a blog post. I would like this button to link to the blog page not an individual post. However, I cannot seem to find where I would make that change. Any ideas?

I want to change the text into link or inserting hyperlink into text
however, I just don’t know how to do that.
It’s just weird to provide link in its naked form because I have to write https://www.myotherwebsite.com in the footer.

the next question is how to change double tap behavior (on smartphones), so that webpage won’t scroll back to the beginning?

Hello, I created a Sensible child theme with the ‘One-Click Child Theme’ plugin. Now, the animations on the home page stopped working. The check box in the customizer animation section is not selected. I see someone asked a similar question about a year ago but was just directed to a child theme documentation page.
Although I’m not exactly sure when the animation was disabled- if the issue occurred when the child theme was created what file was affected? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Unable to add custom content with SO page builder on Home page template. Problem is, that I’d like to replace Home Hero with slider with transparent menu background as on Home page.

Or is it possible to do that on Full page template, so that content starts from top of page with transparent menu?

My posts have basically photo galleries, and when I activate the section, It shows an excerpt with the gallery ID, something like: gallery ids=”61,57,56,55,11,6″

How can I remove it?
Is there any way that blog excepts ar not shown at all in the Home Blog Section?

If you try to navigate through the menu icon “Restauro” to reach anyone of the submenù pages you can’t from PC.
Every time and every movement you try to do with mouse to navigete from “Restauro” to “PRIMA e DOPO” or “STILI DI RESTAURO” causes the closure of the sub-menu that is unreachable.

Also all the pages under “STILI DI RESTAURO” are unreachable from the main menù.

I tryed to do the menù again from zero but with the same result.
I tryed to add more submenù to other main manù pages and I had the same problem.

Any Help?
