It seems like after an update the responsive menu disappeared from the phone view (responsive view). How can I get to show the menu again?

in your latest version of the theme, elementor’s “basic gallery” does not work correctly.
(cannot change the image size. all images are shown small)

I also test on storefront theme, but it works fine with it.

So, your latest theme has some css problem with elementor.

Please fix it.

Hi,

I started my webshop with this theme still free of charge. I like it a lot, it’s starting to work with Woocommerce and I was thinking to buy, when products start selling. Now I’m hesitating.

I just saw, that despite the ssl-certificate, my site is not secure.
I am getting issues on:

https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com
https://fonts.googleapis.com

The problem is, where to find them exactly and how to solve. Or is it not to solve?

Unfortunately, the OP didn’t share the solution with others and now my site has this problem. I am unable to load ANY admin pages in the dashboard. They all return a blank page with error: “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

The log file error is:

The website still runs fine but the only way to access my admin dashboard pages is to rename the theme folder in FTP: /wp-content/themes/shopstar. Once I name it something like /shopstar-zzz, then the admin pages load fine HOWEVER, obviously this breaks the theme and the live site drops back to another theme (and looks terrible).

Can @jgpuca PLEASE respond with the solution or the Shopstar support team?

i use shopstar as my theme, the main (header) menu of the site has a strange behavior, It creates a secondary menu on far left side of the page (out of view) which stretched the page considerably (like 8000 px) and leaves an empty space in between, the said menu consists of submenus of one of the menu items. I can see it when I scroll to the left end of the RTL oriented page, but when I hover my mouse over it to inspect it jumps right back to the main menu. I noticed when I shrink the page lower than 960 px the said menu and the empty space disappears.
I use a third party plugin for my mobile menu (responsive menu) but it seems to be unrelated since the problem still persisted when I disabled the plugin.
Please advise

Occurred after site updated to WordPress 4.9.18.

The site is live, but the WordPress backend Dashboard and all other pages do not display on the main pane. The WordPress navigation displays, but nothing on the right main pane.

There is a problem when I visit my site from a mobile device, it appears a blank space on the right of each page. It looks like the title is too wide and doesn’t fit on mobile size. I have tried to enter different css commands but it doesn’t work.

HELP!!! I am having problems with WP. My site and store imply that it’s live and pages are published, but it is not consistent in how I can view it. I have a few issues. First, as a customer, it shows my page but not my header image, even though it indicates it is published. Also, at the top of my dashboard the *visit my site* takes me to the WA login page where it says “Great News!

However, the *visit my store* link takes me to the page. So 3 different scenarios that are inconsistent to me and my customer. However, it shows in the dashboard under pages that it is published. All should imply it is in working order as the rest of the website is seen. What is wrong with my homepage?? Why won’t it go “live” across all links to be seen? I have been trying to troubleshoot for days now.

And one last issue, my home page is taking me to the “Who We Are” but through the WP side ” visit store it lands on the shop.
Everything is very inconsistent.

Any suggestions? I’m very frustrated.

I’m developing an online store and need to remove the image border in product pages. Can’t seem to figure it out. I tried using custom CSS but I don’t get what part of the code I need to get to target the images and set their border to 0px or none.

It is impossible to change shop page template it keeps using default template. and also if sidebar in shop is in the left side on mobile the sidebar goes to the bottom so you can access product filters only after you scroll through all the products

I get an empty page when I select Appearance > Page Layouts….there is nothing for me to select so I can Import. Has anyone else had this issue?

Feature Request: Add flexibility to set the display number of cross-sells / up-sells on the Checkout page different from those on the Product pages. As is (at least in non-premium), the cross-sells on Checkout page aren’t utilizing the available width to flex those boxes — even though the product boxes are smaller. Pushes the checkout section way far down.

Have the TopBar promo feature enabled. However, when also enabling the My Account | Checkout feature, the TopBar no longer shows. These are common elements that one would expect together. (I did try breaking the promo text onto 2 lines in case that was issue, but it still stopped showing once I enabled the MyAccount-Checkout on that same Header settings section.)

Any known conflicts?

I am using the shopstar theme and ran into an issue when creating many menu items so that it created a second row. The issue was when I added the dropdowns(submenu) and the disappear before you can click them which would make it not user friendly of course.

So I found this as the solution :

On the theme editor, editing the style.css, on line 586.

Changing the code to this.

padding: 0 20px 0;

This made my menu dropdowns(submenu) work perfectly again.

But when I add a bloc with the product of category it only shows maximum 36 items (6items per rows and 6 columns). Do you know how I can change it to have all my products on my page ?

I have tried putting the following code within the style sheet, but it’s not working.
