New to wordpress. When I try changing my front page to a static page (to delete the blog section it includes, but which I don’t need), I also lose the entire design of the frontpage (connected to the theme i chose for the site). How can I delete the blog section on my frontpage without losing the rest of my design?
]]>I’ve just installed and activated Signify Photography. It looks fab on mobile, but on desktop my logo is cropped. I’ve tried reducing the size of the image but it didn’t work. The site is https://nishimachi.com.au/
Would you please take a look and advise a solution?
]]>Hi there,
I am having issues with this theme on my website. I’ve added a Logo in the customizer and it is cut in half by the theme. It seems like it is placed on the corner of the content border.
Any ideas how to fix it?
]]>Hi, after trying to post this question here a number of times, and having then a message telling me ‘Error: Your topic cannot be created at this time.’, I give it a try here, hoping to get more luck…
I’m trying to setup my photo web site using this theme, as a replacement to a previous one which is no longer supported.
I want to change the default font to some “typewriter” style, I chose “modern typewriter” and generated the pack with eot, woff, woff2, ttf and svg files, uploaded in a fonts directory under the theme tree. Here’s what I added to the “Additional CSS”:
@font-face {
font-family: 'modern_typewriterregular';
src: url('wp-content/themes/signify-photography/fonts/modern_typewriter-webfont.eot');
src: url('wp-content/themes/signify-photography/fonts/modern_typewriter-webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'),
url('wp-content/themes/signify-photography/fonts/modern_typewriter-webfont.woff2') format('woff2'),
url('wp-content/themes/signify-photography/fonts/modern_typewriter-webfont.woff') format('woff'),
url('wp-content/themes/signify-photography/fonts/modern_typewriter-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'),
url('wp-content/themes/signify-photography/fonts/modern_typewriter-webfont.svg#modern_typewriterregular') format('svg');
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}
* {font-family: 'modern_typewriterregular'}
I also added a number of CSS directives in order to replace the original default font with this one.
So far, I’ve been able to get this font on the main page only.
No way to get the font displayed in any other page (contact, blog).
Whatever I try using the FF development tools, I never get to the new font displayed at all.
I just don’t understand what’s wrong.
Any clue?
]]>Hello
I created a site using Signify Photography Dark theme. I have two appearance issues I would like to resolve.
On the homepage, the slider extends past the bottom of the screen on laptops.
I would like to make the page smaller so that the entire thing shows without having to scroll down.
2nd I believe there is a placeholder below the menu bar that pushes everything down an inch or two. Is there a way to remove that?
Thanks for any help!
