I have upload the EU logo under site identity and it displays fine from my pc but on mobile phones it is showing up as a very tiny blue question mark. Please can anyone advise with this?

I’d like to remove the black and grey bars in the middle of the header image.
In the customize menu, if I uncheck the box that says Display Header Text, they go away in the preview mode but come back after I hit Save and Upload.

I have a few other issues/feature requests, but wasn’t sure if I should post them in separate topics. If you want me to, let me know. (I understand this is the free version and I thank you very much for your support.)

1. I paid someone to create a banner image of 1920×500 as the theme suggests but now it cuts off at the left a little bit on my PC screen and even worse when viewed on an iPad.
2. I’d like to move the search box to the right side of the page if possible.
3. I’d like the menu links at the top to change color when hovering.

I’ve tried to lock the main navigation, so it will scroll down with the site.
I’ve tried adding position: fixed in the .main-navigation, and it kinda worked – but the box shadow disappeared. :/

Can you help?

First of all, thanks for creating this excellent theme for the community!

I think we’ve found an error on WordPress 4.0. I tried installing Simpel on WordPress 4.0 and had the same fatal error: Cannot redeclare simpel_render_title().

I upgraded to WordPress 4.1 and was able to install the theme without any problems.

I love simpel.

I am using it for an astrophotography page i am creating. I have begun uploading each image and video and creating information about each as a separate post.

What seems to be occurring is that if i use a reference image i see the picture on the front page but when i click through both the real image inside my post as well as the one in the featured image show up. without the featured image, the front page shows as “NO IMAGE”

Obviously I only need one image.

I can resolve this by only using the featured image but it shows as a small image in the post. (and the point is for it to be very large. Also this strategy doesn’t work for an embedded video – what occurs there is the reference image and the video appear.

Also if i only use the reference image – i cant click on it to make it larger to zoom in on features in the photograph

It looks disorganized.

Any help much appreciated.
