Hi! I haven’t updated my Smartline theme since many years ago, because everytime I do it my pages starts to move to left and right when you scroll my pages. So I always have to roll back to the old version.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried to put this code (that I found on the net) in my css but it doesn’t work:

}

I hope somebody knows how to solve this! I dont want to have a three, four year old version on my page.

I’m using the Social Media Menu with several links to my social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Telegram). The icons are correctly rendered in all cases except Telegram (it shows the default star icon). According to the documentation, Telegram is a supported Social Media for this component. The URL I’m using for this link has the following format: https://telegram.me/aeroalmeriainfo

Am I missing something or does the theme expect another URL format?

In the Magazine Homepage (posts) of my website, I use a widget called CATEGORY POSTS: GRID (Smartline) to display the latest posts.

For the last few months, the same posts have been displaying again further down the page (under the widget grid) in single-post format.

The reason why these duplicated posts appear is not clear to me. Nothing shows in the Magazine Homepage widget page or in the Customize page when I try to find where that duplicated content comes from.

Has anybody found this problem before?

I am just wondering whether it is possible to hide the featured image from displaying as a header at the top of the page. I have tried using the ‘Hide Featured Image’ plugin, which used to work but it no longer seems to. This isn’t an issue with most of my pages as they do not need featured images, but I want the thumbnail for the page in question to be displayed on the homepage.
Has anyone encountered/solved this issue before?

I’ve been using Smartline Lite for my community website for about 3 years, and one small thing has always happened on the front page – the page text and slider navigation buttons are always momentarily offset downwards by about 300 pixels while the first slide is showing after loading the page, then jump up to the correct position and stay there. I’ve enabled lazy loading to improve page performance, but this makes the problem more obvious as the text stays offset for the duration of the first slide.

Inspecting the page shows that the height of the div #frontpage-slider is 450px for the first slide on my site and 291px thereafter. A quick but not 100% correct fix is to add the CSS #frontpage-slider {max-height: 291px;} – but this will not work at all screen resolutions (I’ve done this temporarily to improve things for desktop visitors). Any better solutions?

I have this theme installed but since the latest WordPress 5.2.2 update, it throws up a blank screen when I click edit. I use Elementor Pro and the site doesn’t look like the theme now but it has been working fine until this update. I can still edit with Elementor but to get that option I first have to edit normally so I’m pretty much stuck.
I spoke with my host, GoDaddy, and they said it was a php issue and the theme probably wasn’t compatible with the new update. I’m not really tech savvy so I can’t say much apart from that.
I had a web designer change the theme, which it’s now running, but that itself has also thrown up issues. I’d rather go back to my old theme where everything works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am using the Smartline Lite theme and it is good. I am facing some issue for the past few days. Top Navigation Menu is being shown correctly in mobile view on home page. However when I click on any of the article/post, the navigation menu (collapsed one) is appearing twice. When I click “menu”, this is not opening up for sub menus in that. This is working fine in desktop, problem is only in mobile view that too on posts only. Pls help

I am having a problem with product display. It shows a white space gap as shown in the image. I deleted all the plugins, but still have the same problem. I tested with different row X column combinations and always there is one white space gap.
Please suggest me on, how to resolve this issue.

There are no bullet points or numbering on my products/posts. Other themes work fine.

And the page doesn’t ever seem to finish loading or times out unresponsive. Not sure if that’s the theme yet tho.

Can you fix the bullet points please?

I have been trying all manner of CSS code to try center the logo, instead of having it on the left-hand side.

Is there a way to center the logo please?

I am very happy with the layout in mobile/tablet view, but the desktop view could do with a bit of css trickery to improve alignment and eliminate unnecessary white space. I have attached a link to an example of what I would like to do. Top image is how it currently is, bottom image is desired layout.
Hoping you can help with some/all of this. I don’t want to touch the mobile/tablet view at all.

Wie kann ich ggf. die Darstellung optimieren? Das Banner ragt über die Rahmenbegrenzung hinaus, wenn die Seite mit dem Smartphone dargestellt wird.

Congratulations for your great SmartLine Lite theme.

I’m having currently a couple of issues with it (I think) since my upgrade from WP 4.9.9 towards WP 5.0 – 5.0.3 and finally 5.1 few days ago, BUT only when I’m using Gutenberg.

As I don’t really like Gutenberg, I have installed the Classic Editor plugin since my upgrade towards WP 5.0. Since, my default editor is Classic Editor / TinyMCE Advanced.

For testing purpose, I have wrote a single article using Gutenberg (see this link). It was a real trouble doing that, not flexible at all. It’s much less convenient than the Classic editor.

PB-1. Now using Gutenberg, I tried to put this article into the slider of my front – magazine page but with no success all. My “SLIDER” tag is not recognized at all by Gutenberg. And even when forcing SLIDER as a new tag, the result is always the same. This article is not present in my front – magazine page slider.
Doing the same with the Classic editor is working always fine with all my articles wrote before and after WP 5.0.

PB-2. Still with the same article, using Gutenberg to add a Button bloc, the scope of the possibilities seems limited by SmartLine.

What do you think ? Are those issues due to SmartLine / Gutenberg or are they only linked to WP / Gutenberg ?

The 404 page supplied with the Theme is not bad, but one section displays EVERY page on the site including registration/login/member/restricted pages and forms. I need to control this to specifically exclude certain pages. How can this be done?

I can see a kind of workaround by editing the php and completely removing the line:
<?php the_widget( ‘WP_Widget_Pages’, ”, $args ); ?>
But that gets rid of ALL the links

I have a square custom logo. When I am in mobile view, the logo is not aligned to the center. Can you help me with any css mods to fix this.

As it stands, this theme only works with PHP v5.4.*. We would like to continue using this theme, however due to the scads of vulnerabilities concerning 5.4 we may not be able to do so. Is updating this theme to work with PHP v7.*.* on the todo list?

I am using this theme. On mobile, the screen moves to off the screen where there is no content. In summary there is horizontal scroll, however there is no content to scroll. This is creating un friendly user experience. Pls help where i need to make change?

First of all thank you for this wonderful theme, I’ve been using it almost a year now and It’s brilliant!

Just one little thing that I would love help with if possible please – In Site Identity I have added a Logo to show up at the top of the page. There is a lot of white spacing around the logo which is then added, is there any custom code I can add to the CSS maybe that would take this away and get rid of the dead space?

The site title letters have their “tails” cut off:
The “y” of “In your own write” and the “j” in “Les mots justes”

This is the case:
– even when viewing the page at 90%, 80%, etc.
– using Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari browsers

I’m on a Mac.

The OS and the browsers are all up-to-date.

Is there a fix for this?

I’m presently using the free version of Themezee’s theme Smartline, soon to go pro, but in the interim:
The headline and bullet-list properties are not showing as programmed in this theme’s core properties.
– I have tried every headline code for the “Experiences and references” article (H1, H2, H3, H4…) but the size stays the same.
– the list bullet points are hollow circles rather than solid squares

I’ve cleaned up the html code to nothing but the bare essentials, and this is still the case.
– is using the “div” organizer a problem?
– is using the “Content Views” plugin to structure posts within pages perhaps creating a conflict?

I’d be most grateful for help on this issue because the headlines and texts are too small…
