is there a way to show the gallery as thumbnails? At the moment it starts with the large first image and an optional button to switch to thumbnail view… Can I have the thumbnail view as default?

I’m loving Solofolio, but I’m having an issue with the About page.
The content it’s centered whereas I want it to be left aligned.

I’ve looked at the css and it seems this is the reason:
.centered-content p,

I commented the line with /*.centered-content p,*/ but when I upload the css the page generated doesn’t have the comment. How’s that possible?

Also, I added some custom fonts from Google.
I first tried using google link with @import url(http…)

It seems it worked in FF, then I checked in Chrome and it wasn’t working.
Then I tried uploading the fonts and I’ve used a local link instead:
@font-face {…}

in FF is still working, Chrome no luck yet!

Please, any hints??

I love SoloFolio, but it seems to have a problem when viewing it horizontally on mobile phone (I’ve tested it on multiple phones). Photos appear way too small. Otherwise the theme works beautifully.

When I added Posts for Solofolio DropdownMenu, the menu doesn’t stay opened and appear selected as the page refreshed, unlike the Pages in sub-menu appears.
There seems to have a current-open item function only for Pages item added to the Dropdown menu. How to apply this to both Post and Page sub-menus?

My initial splash screen is not showing anymore…
It’s a page called “Inicio” and it referred to as the Initial page. It has a gallery with 3 images.
But when I access my site (www.photoattraction.net) it shows a blank page.

I’ve got question.
Is it possible to add in social menu 500px icon?

I’ve discovered that the side menu for my website disappears on the loading screen in Chrome. It does not do this in Firefox or Opera. I did not adjust any website code before or after this occurred. I’ve added content, but nothing else. Not sure what could be happening.

I’ve since updated to the most recent WordPress and Solofolio versions, but neither fixed the issue.

I have finished my website with the solofolio theme and it works perfectly fine on the computers i tested, no matter the size of the screen. But i have problems to see it in mobile devices. Only main image and folders appear but the galleries don’t. Should i install some plug-ins or add something?

Hi, I love the SoloFolio template, it’s just the sort of thing I am looking for however when using the template in Horizon layout the gallery controls, when set as buttons, are not displayed properly as if they’re aligned incorrectly on the page. New to WP and SoloFolio–love it. I’ve figured out how to get things rolling but,

thumbnails are small and clustered at the very top of my page

thumbnail size is set at 10000×200 and doesn’t change in settings

I’d like to move them further into the page AND get them to the size they appear in most of the example sites.

I have no real experience coding css, html.

Your assistance (and patience) are most appreciated!

I only have one issue currently – when I use the thumbs=”true” option for my galleries I’m not able to individually reference pictures with the #1, #2 etc. links any more. I just get immediately taken to the gallery…

Am I missing something?

Hello,

I am looking how to add ability for pinning my photos on my website. I have tried several plug-ins but only static photo on splash screen was possible to pin.
I am using personally a broswer plugin for Pinning my “inspirations”, but photos are shown in Solofolio galleries in the way that this plugin doesn’t see them.

I see that in Scoial media Widget there is something about Pinterest, but can’t fint in setting how to activate/use it.

Currently I switched off or even removed all tested plugins.

I use it as jsphoto.cz and I have two questions (I think the answers are′n in the forum yet).

Is possible to disable the buttons in the left down corner only on the main page?

And can I disable the “mouse” arrows (changing between pictures) in the all website?

I’ve a problem with all my gallery: when i’m logged in, with my account, i see perfectly the gallery but when i’m going as guest I see a blank page.
I’ve removed all plugins and i’ve followed “how to create a gallery” in https://solofol.io/
I’ve saved all of my images at resolution level 6 as instructed by the manual. The settings I have for the gallery are as follows (Link To: None, Size: Full Size)

First of all, congrats to the author of this great theme. I’m building my portfolio based in SoloFolio, but I’ve just one question about it. When I see my pictures in a slideshow, when it changes from one picture to the other it seems like the first image is compressed before it changes (it’s just one moment) and when the new image apears it is suddenly expanded. It’s not a very important problem, but I would want to learn if it is possible to avoid it.

Sorry to bother you but i’m afraid i really need some help,
I’m building a photography portfolio which went fluently thanks to your great theme so thanks for that!

The problem i’m encountering occurs while uploading black and white images. When i save them like i saved all of my other (colour) images (Photoshop->save for web->PNG-24) the images appear extremely dark on the website (very high contrast). This happened to every monochrome image so far, so i uploaded some of them in .jpeg format. The contrast seems so to be okay in .jpeg but the loss of detail makes the images not worth showing them.

I am having problem with having subpages. I wonder whether this theme support it?

Just at one level. For example under “Photos” page only “Photos1” and “Photos2”. I create the “pages” and make the parental relations then form as the subitem from the “menu” and saved them. However when I go to the main website, all pages look on the same line without any sub-relation.

p.s: I wrote all details because I am an amateur wordpress user myself and would be so glad if you guide me. Thanks in advance.

I’m having a little trouble using images in blog posts, an example is I want to write a post that compares 2 thumbnail size images side-by-side however the images do not appear once they are inserted, only the captions.

As part of updating my website I’m starting a blog but on the page that lists the post entries (here’s the page) I don’t like the amount of space the image uses and its position, for the post itself (especially considering it is designed as a photoblog) I love the big featured image above the text.

Do you know of any easy ways to redesign the list so the featured image is thumbnail size and aligned to the left of the entry?

Is there any way to easily make the gallery images vertically align to the top of the page?

I’ve tried doing it with my limited knowledge through the custom css but can’t get it to work. I just find it a bit odd currently for some images on some images when it’s floating in the middle of the screen.

I already check solofol.io but I don’t get how to add a title slide before every gallery.
Could you please help me?
