Had this theme on a friends website since v1.0.18 (set up as a child theme). Never had any issues with updates over the years. Updated to the current v2.0.38 and the site formatting broke. Wasn’t sure what the issue was. Online chat support was active, so I sent them a message. Response was basically instant. After not being able to figure it out with a few questions, they asked for a login to the website, logged in and fixed it within a few minutes. Memory issue (needed to set WP_MEMORY_LIMIT to 256M in wp-config.php). Extremely impressive support response. Based on this alone, highly recommend HashThemes.

I was looking for a theme that would make the site look good on a phone or tablet as well as a bigger screen. This one ticked those boxes and has a clean look. I can showcase a front page and then add detail and side bars to the rest of the site. Having four areas of detail at the foot of the page keeps it tight.

Purchased the Unlimited Site License and its been a great theme to use on standard sites as well as WooCommerce sites too. Our ‘go to’ theme for client sites that don’t need the bells and whistles of many of the massive themes out there, but still need flexibility and reliability.

i recommend not to buy square plus. in google cloud, square worked, but square plus made my site unbelievably slow. when i changed to other theme, it fixed. i reported, but they did’t reply. vary bad service. don’t pay for this company’s theme. they are not helpful.

Instalé el plugins que me indicaba y me borro toda la web, con todo su contenido. Ya daba fallo antes de instalar el plugins y no me dejaba acceder a la pantalla de personalizar apariencia para copiar el CSS que había creado para parte de la web, para poder ponérselo a otra platilla porque esta va mal y como no me dejaba pensé probar a instalarle el pligins que indicaba a ver si así si, pero lo que ha hecho es borrarme todo mi contenido y encima estoy perdiendo el tiempo en poner este comentario para avisar a los demás usuarios para que no les pase también.

If I could give this a negative rating I would. The documentation is poor. When asked how to fix things I was given instructions that did not apply to the theme and the unnamed developer kept demanding domain level access. Would not give a refund even though took days to get replies to emails.

At first sight, Square looks like a “me too” business-like theme. However, it does not resort to cumbersome page builder plugins, relying instead on the Customizer for building and populating the homepage sections. These sections can be fed page or category content.
The rest of the pages admit a title banner (common to all of them) that can be easily uploaded by means of the Customizer.
In addition, you may choose several templates for any page or post you create.
Looks like the goal was creating a theme that was professional-looking and easy to use and the same time — and the authors have succeeded. Well done!

This theme is really attractive and in a lot of ways very easy to edit. However the things it does wrong are pretty big in my opinion if you’re not someone who can edit wordpress themes and code. Luckily I was able to fix these things but for the average user it’s going to be very frustrating.
No Titles for SEO
There’s a pretty vital piece of code missing in the header of this theme that makes it impossible to edit your page titles. Meaning no matter what page you go to it says “www.yourdomain.com.” Even when you install an SEO plugin like All-in-One-SEO pack it will not edit your titles.
No Category Pages
If you’re planning to link to a blog section of your website in your header you’re going to have to add an entire template page to this theme because it was missing a category page. That means yourdomain.com/category/stuff is blank. This isn’t an easy fix if you don’t really get coding and I’m not sure why it wasn’t included in this theme. In this case you’re going to have to add a category.php page to your theme and tweak it a bit to call to the same styles and formatting the rest of the theme uses. Again, not something that’s easy for the average user who just wants to plug a theme in and go.
That said, if you know how to code (or for some reason don’t care about having blog posts or SEO) then this theme is GREAT. It’s beautiful.
