On the blog page, you can either show an excerpt with the title of the post -OR- the entire post with the featured image on top.

I want to have the featured image with the excerpt. How do I do that?

I’d accept the featured image with only the title as the next best workaround.

May I know whether this theme is compatible with the latest wordpress? Because there are plugins that conflict with the theme stainedglass. The plugin asks for the high customization made on your theme is causing conflicts. The customization is not following the new WordPress or JS coding libraries used on the core.

After update version from 1.1.4 to 1.1.8 I found bug. Default footer or footer sidebar is not appear on the page.

Before I switch to the Stained Glass Theme, I had questions about the analytic capabilities and if CSS Standalone Sections and Carousels are available or if the style was Locked-In.

What is the easiest way to reach the developers with specific design/ customization help is needed??

I’ve created multilanguage site using Stained Glass template and it works as I want – https://svetik-studio.com. Main language is Russian and second is English.

Unfortunately I didn’t use child theme at the start and now decided to move all changes to child theme. But on my test environment (https://test.svetik-studio.com) I faced with problem – English version of main page (About Me) doesn’t show site header images if they shown in random order. But single image is working well.

At last I created temporary environment to ask you to analyze this situation (https://temp.svetik-studio.com). I’ve installed minimum to understand where is a problem:
wordpress 4.9.1
WPML
woocommerce
Jetpack

Please help me to locate template that contain <h1 class=”entry-title”> for home page posts loop. There are many in root theme dir but changing them has no effect. Also I have a problem with <h2 class=”entry-title”> at top widget.

I’m sorry to be so dense, but I am totally confused about exactly HOW to add images/galleries to the Portfolio. You know, like they appear on the theme developer’s demo example? I’ve read the Documentation for the theme, but I still don’t understand how to do it. I know how to do regular blog posts, but I don’t think this is the same thing. I’d like to use the Portfolio Simple Layout.

If anyone has instructions for dimwits like me, please could you post them? Make ’em simple, please. ?? Thanks guys.

Entire theme blog seems to be unavailable, and I sure need help with several issues! It almost looks like they might’ve been hit with ransomware or something, since I can’t read Russian!

Seriously need help with: Changing top menu background and text colors.
Changing main body panel background and transparency colors, text colors.
Changing Blog, Shop, Portfolio to other titles, colors and content.

I’ve tried changing all these in the custom css file and in the editor-style.css file, but none of the above changes. Need the Documentation!! FRUSTRATED.

Ideally would like to have the same product layout as the Bellini theme [without obviously changing to that theme as I am ready to go live with the stained glass theme] Just need to fix the number of products / columns of the products on the home shop page

Using the w3 CSS Validator, I was trying to check the CSS in my child theme of Stained Glass. I corrected my child style.css, but also a couple of documents in the stained-glass theme directory. They did not make any difference to the way my site looks.

The changes I made were:

• In inc/customize.php I changed bckground to background
• In inc/css/button.css I change bsackground to background

There were a few other errors too, which I either did not understand or could not find. The current output from the command, which shows these errors, is:

After having uploaded images for the three GL Items widgets in the Home First Top Sidebar I find it ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to attach an image link to an internal page.Very occasionally I have managed to set the link in the associated Display Link field by repeating and varying my actions. I can not work out How.
I pasted the Permalink address into the LINK field (More options) but it almost invariable disappears when doing a Save or Apply (Nb Images) or even going to another field.
It is clear that the code is seriously bugged but, awaiting a correction, can anyone give me a reliable sequence of actions which will allow me to apply the links and possibly eliminate the need for the button so that my pages can be activated directly from the image.
I have PageLines installed and the Hover Effect Style is Caption(1).

I’m finding that the H2 headings in my articles aren’t very distinctive. They just appear to be a larger font, which is great, but I’d like to bold and/or underline them.

I haven’t found a menu within customization that might fix this issue.

Can someone provide a fix? Thanks!

BTW, I have CustomCSS installed, so I can use that.
