I like the layout and general functionality of this theme, but there are some issues. There are widgets in places that I don’t want them, and I can’t find a way to remove them. There is no support from the creator on this and other features that people are having troubles with.

This is such a shame. The theme has so many interesting and hard to find features but, in this case, it just wasn’t meant to be. My client is not a fan of the little three-line icon for mobile menus. The bad part is that when opened the menu slides under the logo, obscuring part of the page names. Then it fails to show the names of sub-pages.
Otherwise we really like the way the logo gets to float over the top of the banner. So close and yet so far!

Stained Glass is a great looking theme. It’s not the most user friendly for customizing, that may account for some of the previous negative reviews. Overall, very nice theme.

this is truly a great theme- will change to 5 star review if my issue can be sorted.
i have changed the whole layout of the theme but want to revert back to the default layout- i have deleted the theme and reinstalled it and had no joy.
please can you urgently advise how to change back to default theme.

I’m using PHP 5.5 therefore the theme is quite clearly corrupted as I had to remove the theme from my server database in order to access my wordpress admin panel again..
cats_456 you have a grwat looking theme in principle but need to check out the errors that occur immediately after installation. With me it occurred when I activated the theme in wordpress admin. Have a look.

Hi! Don’t install this theme if you use old php version (below 5.3). In latest version (not live yet) this issue have been fixed.

Looks like a nice theme but it doesn’t actually work. Every time I tried to activate it, an error popped up and wouldn’t allow me to do anything else in WordPress. I ended up having to delete the theme completely to get back to using WordPress.

I read the 1 negative review before me but decided to install the theme anyway. Before activating it I did a live preview and it just turns to a BLANK WHITE PAGE! Glad I didn’t just activate it or it would have wiped out my work so far.

Totally new installation of WP 4.2.2 – changed template after installation – everything blank. No way to reach the front- or backend.
