Hi all, I need to include one or two search boxes inside the image of Content Slider, this is just below the button “DISCOVER YOUR PARK THROUGH THE MAP”, or instead this button. This first image you can see, is included from Content Slider. I’m only able to put a type of search box that appears in the following, below the Content Slider.

I don’t know if this is posible. Any help Will be appreciated…

I’ve got a website with the pages as sorted below:
Media
-Activities
-Jumelage
–Page1
–Page2

The first submenu shows up perfectly, but the other one, that is beneath ‘jumelage’ does not show up on my mac.
I’m using Waterfox as browser but as well in Safari I have the same issue.

I’m running El Capitan with the latest updates.
Wordpress 4.4.2 with all updates plugins en themes.

The tagline does not appear below the site name
I cannot get the comment box below the posts
I cannot change the text size of the Website Title
I cannot set a cooler for the posts titles

I’ve got the Story theme installed on my website, which I love, but when sharing the homepage to Facebook – which is using the portfolio mode – the image that is shown is not anything that is representative of the images on my homepage, but rather a PNG of a file I have used as a site ID. I’d love Facebook to pick-up the images being used to highlight my portfolios, but how?? Someone please help. I’ve tried everything, including all the options in the Yoast SEO plugin, but nothing seems to work.

How can I add the “rel author” tag in the Story template? I can’t see no “header” menu where I could add the “https://plus.google.com/….” link. Do I need to add a plugin?

Looking into single.php

This is the line that will call the previous post and next post:
<?php story_post_nav(); ?>

I have searched all the files and unable to find the function story_post_nav()

I would like to make it such that it will only call the previous/next post that belongs to the same category of the current post.

We have tried to add a side bar and for some reason it keeps disappearing. It shows up when we first save it, but then it disappears when we go to a different page. We currently have 2 sidebars saved, but it won’t let us save any more without them disappearing.

I’m trying to change the base colors of the Story theme (sidebar, navigation header, “color scheme” colors)

How do I do this? I can’t seem to find the color options in the CSS.

What size image should I use for the sliders? Pretty much whatever size I use, it crops the image weirdly and cuts off vital pieces.

Im have SO much trouble trying to figure out how to get rid of the GAP under the menu header (right above your first post).

I have tried looking everywhere in the code to try and find how to get rid of it and have NO GAP, but I just can’t seem to figure it out.

Im only a beginner using WordPress and CSS, so Im still fiddling around in the dark…so when replying please be as basic as you can.

A church client of mine is using Story Theme for their site. They have a weird case. On mobile all the shortcodes are showing.

At the bottom you can choose to load the ‘desktop’ version and then the fully responsive theme loads.

I can’t see in the settings what could be causing this – so you input would be appreciated.

I have the background for my posts / pages set to a specific color using the stylesheet css. However below the content the area still displays as white if the length of content is shorter than the length of the side bar.
By using:
#content {
background-color: #e8e6da !important;
}
I have managed to change a strip down the lefthand side but not the entirety to this color. I cannot identify what needs to be changed to fix this.

May I know what Grid Layout is Story on?

For example:
1200px Grid Layout (12 columns, 80px wide columns, 20px gutter)?

Because I notice one difference compared to other themes — when viewing on Mobile, the content goes responsive Full Width with 0 margins left & right. (Which I love!)

What grid layout allows this? Because most still will have margins at sides.

I noticed that on your demo that you are able to collapse posts and reader can expand by clicking “continue reading”. However, when I applied the theme to my website my posts did not collapse. Could you please let me know where I need to go to get this functionality?

first of all I need to say that this theme is amazing and I am very happy using it.

I tried using infinite scroll on my page and I thought it was working but now it seems weird. If I scroll down the page I can see page/1 then page/2 in my URL. It could be acceptable but I have problems with loading – it seems like after first post it is loading more posts than it should be. Sometimes it’s not optimal if I go to some post and then back, it shows me for instance page/10. Another thing is that if I scroll back to top, the number of current page is increasing instead of decreasing.

I don’t know – maybe I just broke it with some plugin, but I tried to disable W3 Total Cache and few other plugins and it’s still there.

Is it possible to turn of this function of adding number of page to URL or do you have any tips how to avoid these problems?

I have removed all widgets as i want a single column wordpress blog site. For some reason it has started showing – Meta, Archive and Search – after removing all widgets from the sidebar.

Check-boxes which I am using already, converted to radio buttons after theme is setup. Where is the code partion that I need to change?

Really lovely theme!

Quick question: my homepage is displaying latest blog posts. The date of each post shows but the author does not; however, once I click through to any single post, the author does show next to the date. On the demo site (https://webtuts.pl/test/story/) the author link displays on the homepage as well as single post pages.

Is this a bug? Is it being hidden because there’s only one author on my blog? Something else?

Love the theme! I created a child theme for it so I could use excerpts on the home page. However, I found that when I use the child theme, I lose the color scheme styling, so my sidebar links are all grey. You can view the problem at the site:

I am trying to display the categories of each post on the home blog page (where all of the posts are shown), instead of just on the individual post page.

I am very new to php- any ideas on how to change the post format to include categories when they are displayed on the main page?

I am trying to change the background color on my sidebar, but I only get the background color to change where there are widgets (in the top), so the top of the sidebar is one color and the bottom half is another (default?) color.

Anyone got any ideas how I can get the color I want on the whole sidebar?

The left aligned featured image are located here.
Both iPhone 6 concept and Flappy Bird 8-Bit Reboot posts have featured images aligned to the left and it is getting kind of annoying.
