Good morning,

I have chosen the theme suits which says that a full-width theme is possible to enable, but I don’t find the way to activate it.

I want to avoid having too much white space on my website.

I did a google search and it seems that some themes have the option of adjusting posts width via Appearance>customize>change layout. However, Suits does not have that option. I would like to know how to adjust the width of the post area, including how to setup the ratio of actual post/text width and sidebar width. Thank you.

I can’t update Suits theme from 1.4 to 1.5. After running the update routine sucessfully, it gives me a complete white screen. I’m using a child theme. Any suggestions?

When I link to a post that has no images on Facebook, the icon that Facebook uses is not the favicon, but an image with three greyish blue vertical bars of different sizes. Does that come from the theme and if so, can I change that?
Of course I can manually edit the image, but I often forget that since the image is only shown after posting on Facebook, it is not part of the preview.

Hi,

When setting font size in Appearance > Customize > Typographie > Default Typographie

For paragraph, settings are taken into account but not for <UL>.

Is there a way to apply font size to all the paragraph?

So, I’m trying to use the default Sharing options that come with this theme; however, when done the social media icons are displayed via dropdown instead of just being there. There are a bunch of social media plugins but wondering if there is an easy way to adjust the one that comes as default. I have two questions: 1) I would like to hide the featured image in posts from appearing in the home page. 2) When using the ‘insert more’ tag in the post and pressing it on the homepage the whole page is not aligned to top of page. Hi: The mobile menu on my newly installed website (Worpress 4.7, with Jepack installed) is not working when I view it on my Apple iPhone 5.0. Any ideas how to activate/fix? I just got this site running with the Suits theme, and I definitely need the mobile menu to work, otherwise the site is useless for at least those with iPhone 5.0

I went through every dashboard checklist and see now mobile theme enabling swithc (i’ve read some premium sites have this feature on the dashboard.). Not I haven’t checked on Android or other devices. I don’t have other devices. Thanks.

I would like to remove the comments link on post view. In my opinion it makes no sense to load the comments on a seperated site. I want to load the comments right under the post like on facebook.
How to realize that?

I am a relative newbie here. I cloned a site (to retain all the installed plugins, admins, etc).

I’m unable to customise anything which must be changed through the “manage with live preview” option – eg change the colours, on the new site. Eg I hit the “save & publish” button and nothing happens – it remains “blue”. Is there some code I need to change to ensure the clone site is permissioned properly?

NB: I can change the widgets and menus via the other access.

When viewed on mobile devices the ‘shopping cart’ icon is very large and gets in the way. Is there an option to remove it or make it much smaller?

I use SiteOrigin CSS to change title size.

But it appears that doing that the title is no more responsive.

i didn`t like the “category archived:” lines on all categories so i removed them by adding “visibility: hidden;” to the /* =Archives section of style.css.

they are invisble now but still take up space resulting in, well, a lot of white space between the menu and the actual post.

any input as to how i can resolve is highly appreciated ??

I want to add a Swedish translation file to my Suits theme. I have exported a po-file and created a mo-file and put them in wp-content/themes/language. It does not work
What I do wrong ?

I’m having troubles removing the comment link on the single post view. I want to remove it because it makes no sense as the comments are literally right under it. It looks way out of place.

But since the theme author used single.php for both the index and single post..its making it really difficult to achieve.

I really like this theme and I’ve been making some decent modifications to it. But I cannot figure out how to get the YouTube or well any video embeds to scale proportionally. I can use a plugin, but that causes some weird problems so I would rather try to fix it with CSS. But I need some help.

I have been having problems with creating sub-menus from pages on my main page.

I recently created a post on Viennese Coffee Culture, and I assigned it under Categories: Vienna, Coffee Houses

I went to my destinations page, and wrote a list of different locations (hamburg, vienna, panama). I connected vienna on this list with the link https://www.labonnevivante.me/category/vienna/

I went back to the Menus. Dragged the Vienna category under the Destinations page. I made sure to position it as a sub page. I refreshed my page, and the destination tab still doesnt have a drop down with “Vienna”.

I also changed my theme to the original one to see if it has anything to do with the suits theme, and the destinations tab also didnt drop-down like I wanted to.

It is still possible to click on destinations tab and then click the hyperlink vienna, although aesthetically it would look nicer the other way.

Hope someone can help me with this!!!

p.s. I’ve made sure to assign the vienna category to my post…..

Firstly I would like to remove some of the space between the title of the text and the heading. There is too much space. I have padded the sidebar to try and bring it in line which I can remove, but I would like less white space above the text heading. The link is:
