I can not find “assets” anywhere. Help?!

I’ve created a child theme for Summit Lite with a custom page template to take sidebars off of everything but the blog page.

I’ve managed to make the content for the page full width, but I am having trouble centering the page/post title on these pages.I’ve tried adding to the style sheet for the child theme, but can’t seem to add the right thing to get it to work.

I am really new to this. As it is my first blog. Honestly I have been working on this all day and it is really starting to stress me out. When I chose this theme I went by how the sample looked. There are multiple menu options under the main heading picture. Now that I have chosen the theme, it is telling me that I can only have one menu option. What can I do to have multiple ones like in the sample picture? It keeps telling me I can put them on the side, if I do add more, but I want them at the top. Please help.

I’ve noticed that unless galleries are posted as a thumbnail grid it appears very small. This mean the tiled mosaic, square tiles and other gallery styles as allowed by Jetpack can’t really be used. Is there a way to fix this issue?

I was testing out new themes on my self-hosted site. After trying out a few, I installed another one which made my whole site crash. I say crash because I can no longer log in nor can my site be viewed from the “outside”.

I mailed my service provider and they aren’t having any server issues. Just wondering if there’s anything that can be done from WordPress’ side to get the site up again?

Although I have a background image selected and tiled, it is not appearing around the edge of the page. Is there something else that I should selecting/deselecting to make this appear?

I’ve been trying to upload a featured image that would span the entire width of the entry, but it only displays as a small photo at the start of the entry. Like a little bigger than a thumbnail. What am I doing wrong?

Sidebar shows up on the bottom instead of on the side when the site is viewed in IE. The button is unchecked for “Uncheck to hide header Title and Description” but the name still shows up in the header when viewed in IE.

When I assign a post to the Video format it only shows the embedded video, even if I’ve written a commentary in the beginning. Is there a way I can fix this?

P.S. I’ve found the Post Formats section in style.css, but I’m not sure what am I supposed to change/add there.
