Problem Nr.1
Irgendwann verschwand die Registerkarte “Bewertungen” und alle zuvor abgegebenen Bewertungen landeten unterhalb der Produkte als Kommentar. Siehe zum Beispiel hier.

Problem Nr.2
Unterhalb der Shopkategorien sammeln sich die Kommentare aus dem Blog und auch von einer Seite die ich in der Vergangenheit für Kommentare freigeschaltet hatte. Siehe z.B. hier. Ich m?chte dort überhaupt keine Kommentare haben, kann sie aber nirgends abstellen.

Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich hierfür Hilfe bekomme und das Theme behalten kann.

I’m building a WordPress site using Sunspot and it’s looking great–except for the mobile menu.

I’ve made a child theme, but I haven’t modified the styling of the menu. The issue is the display of the (list-based) main menu when at max-width: 480px. The list items are centered and the list’s dots are left-justified, which looks awkward.

Hey, I don’t know if anybody is still monitoring these forums, but I have a question:

I’m using WP 4.6 (on my own server, not on the wordpress site) and Sunspot 1.1.4. And it seems that when I insert a picture with transparency into a post, said transparency disappears and the image gets a dark, filled background instead.

Yesterday I posted my first new post after switching to Sunspot and it included a PNG with transparancy. This one: https://enklave-23.de/blog/BT_web_logo.png

I just fiddled around with it a bit, and it doesn’t matter if I get the image from the Media Library or from a different source. Every time I insert it via “img src=”, it appears without transparency.

Is there something in the style.css I need to change? Or do I need to go into the php?

I am using the Sunspot theme, and want to limit the amount of words for posts before Read the Rest…

I edited tweaks.php to change the word length:

I wonder why my latest post (DL P?ntt?uuni ja kuulumisia) has a weird size thumbnail? This post is the first with Sunspot, the others are old (=exported). I would like to have Thumbnail size same as old post. Is that doable someway?

Ps. I managed to do translation in Finnish but some sentence was missing. I did proposals . Any info how long this approval/rejections takes? This is not priority, I do have some other fine-tuning to do.

I love this theme but am having trouble finding a lightbox type plugin that is compatible. I want people to be able to click on my photos and see larger more close up versions in a new window that hovers over without having to leave the site. I am a novice to wordpress but am willing to mess with programming within the theme if I can keep it AND get this new functionality I want. The lightbox plugins I’ve tried that are NOT compatible with Sunspot (I say this because I could get them to work easily with other themes).

I am looking to remove the author info from the top of any posts, so it hides both the date published and the post author. I publish other writers work so don’t want it credited to me? I am replacing this info with author boxes at the bottom of the post.

I have a site that has a small main menu in the left nav and a fairly long secondary, fly out menu. On many screens the fly out menu drops off the bottom of the screen. If I could change the menu so it anchored on the bottom item in the list and flew out and up it would work perfectly. Is there anyway to do that?

You can this issue if you go to heavenearthcreations.com and hover over the “gallery” menu item in the left nav.

I am fairly new at using WP but am learning. I just installed Sunspot theme but am having trouble with the Title and Tagline. I need to reduce the size of the font but don’t know how to do it. Is it possible? I am not too good with html at this time…so not sure I want to try changing it in code.

theme I had was 2014 but decided to try Sunspot. In 2014 the font is quite small but adequet. but its huge with Sunspot. Any way to fix that?

I’m using Sunspot theme for my website; I love it.

I’ve been ALL OVER the CSS for this, customizing font styles, colors, form background colors, etc. But the one thing I cannot seem to find is where/how the theme defines UL, OL, and LI codes (bulleted and numbered lists) to show up with NO character — disc, circle, square, or number/letter — in the list. All of my lists are indented properly, but no character.

There are two lists apparent. The top list is a UL, with the LI’s set to “square” in the WYSIWIG editor. The second list is a OL, with the LI’s set to a standard number (1,2,3). I’ve tried setting my ULs and OLs to “default,” to “circle,” to “disc” — nothing changes. I even dug in to various CSS files and tried to define them that way too — again, nothing changes.

When I “inspect element” (via Chrome), the code shows the lists are defined properly.

Why, oh why, can’t I control my LI’s the way I want to?

Currently adding the right sidebar to SunSpot makes the center colums more narrow and takes their space. Also, it is not really on the right, but rather on the center of the screen.

My question: is there any edit (or plugin, doesn’t really matter) that’d allow me to put one widget on the right side of the screen?

I have found that when users comment on a posting, each new comment in indented from the previous comment. Once four comments have been made the text area has become much too narrow and even a simple paragraph takes up more than a page-length in space.

I am using static pages with sunspot 1.1. I have 2 pages. The Home page the hr line at the end of entry looks good. But the hr line on “take Out Menu” shows at the top of the page, this is the page https://www.bricabrac824.com/menu I am using floating divs to create the 2 columns.

We have a background picture so we want all our page and post titles and text to be in back. I am unable to change page/post title colour – they are orange. Plus the bullet points in the content of page/post are also orange. Can this be changed?

love this theme, although i’m having many issues with its restrictions as of late, the child css doesn’t save at all, and the sidebars have spaces for 1 widget only, theme came with no footers, (which i’ve added) some gif’s post correctly some don’t. I just keep hitting road blocks here

Hi, I would like to add a custom header right above the orange bar. Not to change the current header but add a larger header for title and back ground image.

I am using Sunspot static pages for my website. I am manually linking them with Next and Previous links using html “a href”. I’ve been reading about linked pages and have tried ordering my pages and putting <?php wp_link_pages(); ?> in my page but that doesn’t seem to work. Is there documentation somewhere I can read to learn how to do this? Or is there a better way?

When I resize my browser (Chrome) to half of the screen, the fly out menu on my site appears but there is a big space between the left nav and the menu. I have some pages that are images inside a table with no text. The bottom border of the page appears right in the middle of the images. You can see an example of this here: https://www.heavenearthcreations.com/gallery/abstract/

I would like to remove the bottom border but can’t figure out where in the style.css to do it.

Hi.

The primary div (centre main content) is set to 75% to allow the right sidebar (secondary div) to fit on the right.

When viewed in small resolution, the right sidebar/widgets are pushed underneath the main content (which is good) but now the primary div being set at 75% means there is 25% blank space on the right of the screen.

This causes most noticeable problems for bbpress, as avatars etc take up space on the left of the screen, then the topic content is very small width in the middle of the screen, maybe only a couple of words fit per row!

When the browser/screen width is above 1050 the “site tile” displays and scales down correctly until 1050w. When either are at or below 1050 the “site title” increases in size.

Question – is it possible to set the trigger point to something else, say 960px? Also, where is the “@media” scaling taking place?

I have a site that has a parent page and child pages. When you click on the parent page in the left nav, the list of child pages appears to the right. However, if the list of child pages is longer than content window on the right allows for, the menu gets cut off. Does anyone have a suggestion for fixing this?
