Hi,

I’m trying to place video in my page title – and having the page title shown at the same time.

But if I mark “Video” in the “Background Content” and place a link to the mp4-video below, the page title is showing on top, but the video is not playing.

If I use the html option in “Background Content”, I can get the video to play – but then the page title is not showing.

I use html like this:

Sometimes it’s working saving the videofile without sound, but not allways…

First off, thanks again for creating an amazing theme.

One thing I’ve noticed periodically is that with my mobile display of my website, the menu (in the upper left hand corner of the website) sometimes doesn’t respond when clicking on it, depending on whether I’ve first clicked on the post headline you see at the top of my homepage. Strangely, if I click on the second post headline, the menu works. For some reason, it’s only when I click on the first post headline that the URL gets appended #sup-main-menu, which then prevents the menu from responding to further clicks. To isolate the issue, I deactivated all Javascript/CSS minification/caching plugins after first clearing my cached files through a caching plugin Hummingbird, along w/ my cache on my mobile browsers (Chrome and Firefox), but to no avail.

Looking fwd to any insights. Much appreciated in advance!

I want to do a bilingual page and want to change the ‘categories’-nav-tab to the name of the menu (set in admin area) – clue: it should change when I change the language, actually the menu changes right, but the ‘categories’ not

Today I started receiving error messages across the top of my web pages. I have made no recent changes to the theme, wordpress install, or anything. I called my hosting company and they say it is a theme issue. I disabled all plugins and removed everything from .htaccess except for the basic WordPress section.

The only thing that resolved the issue was switching to a different theme. The interesting thing is the basic Supernova theme works fine – but I am using Supernova Pro. Can you please resolve this issue?

I was just wondering if there’s a way to remove the duplicate menu on the upper left corner (viewable on my Android mobile Chrome browser). The menu on the upper right corner of the page works fine, but when you tap on the one on the left, there’s no response.

First – I love your theme! Thank you for such a great theme, I really enjoy using it.

I’ve started looking at my website on Google’s Search Console and I’m seeing many errors on categories (archives) and posts for missing Author and Updated data. The source of the errors is in the microformats.org structure.

All of my Google searched on how to fix this issue point to asking the developer to provide a fix.

Could you please provide a fix for this? ??

Hi,
I want to remove some basic info on my main blog page. I want to remove who the post was posted by and the tags. I don’t mind if they are on the specific page once the user clicks the read more, but I don’t want this info on the main index page.
How can I do this?

In the Dashboard, when I am building / editing a Page, I have the ability to choose the option “Full Width”.

For a Post, I do not have this ability in the Dashboard. (“Full Width” is not one of the options available to me.)

Can anyone tell me how to attain this capability? Modify the CSS?

I am a beginner – both to WordPress and to the Supernova theme.

What a slick, user-friendly theme.

However, currently, I cannot control a few, urgent display issues.

Specifically, I want to be able to control:

*Image caption font type and size – (Location: each individual blog post page)
*Display of image and text across width of page – (Location: each individual blog post page)

Also, now, after my site was updated automatically to WordPress 4.5.3, every one of my images (Location: each individual blog post page) aligns “Center” and displays “Medium”, despite the fact that I specifically choose to align “Left” and to display at “Full Size” in the “Display Settings” for each image.

The titles of the my website pages are in h2 and not in h1 , the titles of my posts are normal in h1 but standard page titles are all in h2 like a subtitle. how can I solve this? thank you!

I’d like to make my front page have no title appear. Is there a way to do this just for the home page?

If I create a page with no title, the menu has it listed as the number of the page plus the words “no title” i.e. #166 (no title).

I was trying out some text in the ad spots to see how it looked. I was able to add the text, but now I can’t remove the text!

Where it says “Above Single Post” and “Below Single Post” can’t be removed.

I’m a big fan of the latest update. The view is much more cohesive, and overall, easier to use. Thank you for maintaining it so actively!

My only complaint is that I used to be able to link my slider images to pages, and now only posts are supported, at least in the free version. Is page-linking available in the paid version? If so I would consider purchasing the full version simply for that feature.

I’m trying out this theme and it looks good so far. One thing I can’t figure out is the slider. I put in two images and they display fine but they don’t automate. The introduction video shows a Slider Effect option but I don’t see that at all. How can I turn the slide effect on?

How can I customise the slider to the height and width I need? When the theme width is 1100px then the photos are just too big for the rest of the site, but when I use CSS for the sup-slider then I get a grey box around where the rest of the box used to be. Can you please let me know if there’s a possible code I can slip in the custom CSS box or if I need to have a look into the style sheet?

I find no settings to display author name and date on the index and single post pages. Even on the webmasters section, it is displaying errors like ‘missing author: missing entry’. Support needed.

On my Coffee Blog, the recommended tab is not working. What’s wrong there?

Is there a way to download and install the previous version of this theme? Everything was displaying fine on my site until I installed the latest theme update today.

I usually use a slider, but unfortunately the current version of this theme no longer provides the same level of control over the slider.

More problematic though is the menu (which I used to have set as the main menu) no longer displays properly. I previously had my top level menu options displayed across the page horizontally, but now I see the same menu options listed vertically.

How can we disable the navigation below the single post for next and previous post.

I’ve recently updated the theme and the things are nice now. I would really appreciate the author of this theme for such great creation. One thing which is bugging me is the search box icon of lens is not displaying and also the back to top button icon is not displayed. What should I do about it. When I check the demo version of this theme, everything was fine there but not on my site. My site address is https://www.friedcoffee.com.

For popular tab I want to change it to articles, and when i click it, it will display only posts with category article. And for recommended I want to display only posts from category news.

Just updated to SuperNova 2.0 and I noticed that the Theme Options menu choice in the Admin Sidebar is missing.
Is it somewhere else?

Hi there. I am a big fan of this theme, but I just wanted to mention that this themes latest update broke a site that I built for a friend. Completely wiped away the format.

I did receive the following message… “Supernova theme has been rebuilt for better performance and to meet wordpress new standards. Therefore your settings have been moved to customizer. You theme may look broken but it’s actually fixed now. Please save it again from customizer live preview. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

That really didn’t help in any way. There was no option to save again from whatever ‘customizer live preview’ is. I looked everywhere including theme options. And even if I did find this ‘customizer live preview’ would it have set everything exactly back to the way the site looked previously?

I had to ultimately roll the site back to the previous version and shut off all updates. The only other option was to completely reformat the entire site again which I had no intention of doing. I just don’t have the time for that so I went with the easiest option.

I’m not mentioning this to complain. You’ve done a fantastic job on this theme and I do love it. Just offering constructive feedback to help better possible further updates.

If I’m missing something here or didn’t take the correct actions when the theme updated, please let me know. I’m sure it would be helpful to others as well.

I just updated to the new version of the Supernova theme, and now my 3rd tier subpages on my navigational menu do not pop out. I can see there is another menu, but when I hover my mouse over the link, nothing appears. Any suggestions?

I’m very new to wordpress, so apologies if i’m missing an specific etiquette about asking for help!

I’ve been asked to sort out this website for my place of work, so far i’ve managed pretty well, but there’s one thing that’s got me beat…

The section titled ‘Innovative Icon Boxes’ highlight each icon appropriately, however on the website I’ve got, the right-most box is the only one that highlights – **however** Should the mouse come from the top edge of the any box, that’s the one that highlights.

it’s consistent throughout the whole website, and I just can’t find any code or settings anywhere to fix it.

If I could either fix that issue, or completely get rid of it I’d be happy with that. If you need any info, i’ll try my best to find it and give it to you!

I’m using the Powen Pro theme and I completely got stuck with the footer menu. I think I’ve set it on, but I rather use normal footer widgets to create a menu on the bottom of the website. Could you tell me where to switch it off in the system?
