]]>I have a suggestion that I think could potentially increase speed for everyone using Swift. It would be awesome if support for jsDelivr could be included as part of Swift. They are offering free CDN hosting of common JS and CSS files, such as the ones that are common in all swift installations, such as swift-js.js. I believe this just requires uploading the files via their github repository:

Hi,
I’m using a rigid Adsense ad for the ad area below the post text, and would like it to be replaced by a responsive ad, whose code I’ve added in the “Ad Code for responsive layouts” box.
The responsive ad is supposed to replace the rigid one, but the problem is that the ad shown is always the rigid one, even changing layout.
Could you please help me to understand what is preventing the responsive ad from working and replacing the rigid ad?
Thanks

I change the colors in the basic, free version of swift from the color options box. I select body background. I select wrappre background. I change the colors. I hit save. The colors do not save to the site. Is there a bug? Is there a fix? I imagine this should be extremely simple but I cannot figure it out. I would buy the premium version if the basic version ran more smoothly, but I am not inclined to make the purchase when the basic version doesn’t run properly.
Please let me know if there is a fix for this.

I am using wordpress 3.8.1 with Swift Basic theme. The translation is not working, even though all the necessary files are ok.
Here is my wp-content/themes/swift-basic/languages directory contents:
├── default.mo
├── default.po
├── pt_BR.mo
└── pt_BR.po
The default.mo and default.po came with the theme. I tried to remove them, but it still didn’t work.
In my wp-config.php I put:
define(‘WPLANG’, ‘pt_BR’);
What could be wrong?
Thank you

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I’m using the free version 0.2.6
(if there’s somewhere to get a newer version, please let me know. I might consider buying a premium version in the future too)
Anyway, my website usually loads fine, but approximately 20% of the time, it’ll load without the right sidebar content
This should include a number of widgets including search bar, feedburner subscriber, posts by category, popular posts widget, etc.
The rest of the content will load fine, but the sidebar elements will load in a weird collapsed version where you have to click text that says ‘show’ in order to get the widget to show up.
This happens on multiple posts/pages, seemingly randomly.
Any help please?

Is there a simple way to add text and images below the posts on an individual category page? Each category page needs it’s own text and images.
I would like for my category landing page to keep the gray Category Description at the top, then show the posts below that, then show resource links below the posts.
I haven’t found a good plugin just yet. Maybe there is some coding I can add to the User CSS field?
Thanks for the help!

Hi,
I just updated Swift to the latest version 0.2.6 and suddenly lots of new things appeared in the left sidebar of the posts of my website
https://www.ottimizzazione-pc.it/:
a search box (useless as I already have a Google search box), categories, a subscribe box, a calendar, an ad for Swift.
I can’t see any options to remove them in the widget area of the dashboard, and none in the Swift options.
How can I get rid of them? I don’t need them at all.
Thanks for your support.
Hi guys,
please, does anyone know ho to remove this “subscribe” button which has appeared after theme update. I don’t need it, i don’t want it. And I dont see it in the active widget section. I presume this is an inbuilt widget. I only see it in the “Available widgets” section, but no idea how to get rid of it on the site.
The sticky option will not work for me, I have tried in a thousand different ways, took a look in all the css file but there is no way to making it work. The checkbox in the design options just doesn’t seem to work. I tried in both layout fluid and solid and nothing is working.
Please help, I’m desperate!
